Meh, the silver/grey thing is just a personal opinion, so no point arguing that. I'll admit that summer 08 was pretty good, but where it failed for me were the Nuva Mistika. Yeah, with modification they all look pretty good-trust me, all of my are heavily modified. The point is that in the summer no such modifications were necessary. I also much preferred the unique design of Pohatu and look of Lewa to the Mistika Toa. None of their designs really grabbed my eyes. I'll concede however that Kopaka was made of fail. I think Lego did a steller job on almost all of the Makuta last year, Icarax not included, and I have a hard time picking which set I prefer more. So really it is just the fact of the Mistika Toa being so much more lame IMO. Also, hated the Vehicles. I dislike all these huge sets, I do not like spending money on these things which I have no room for.

It's ok, he's a kid, he'll grow out of it. :P

Nah, pretty sure it's standard stuff. Overall I think the second half of the year is a weaker showing...but I'm not surprised, it was like this in 2007 and 2008 too. I wonder why? Maybe they don't work on the second half as hard because they still get Christmas sales to bump them up? Stronius seems pretty cool, a bruiser no doubt, if he's a Skrall with a name I'm expecting him to be of at least a sort of mid-boss. Vastus I highly suspect to be the champion of the Atero tournament thingie, he has that wizened warrior look about him. Love the scythe, hate the legs. Ackar is generic, if his weapon or helmet turn out to be super cool close up I'll probably be more excited, but for now he's kind of meh. I like the look of Kiina, kind of a sickly, skinny thing going on. It's nice and consistent anyway, so it rocks. Not a fan of Gelu at all. Hate his proportions and use of the Inika armor. Really though, I just hate the generic backgrounds they all have. Much preferred the full elemental look, but at least we get that little slice on the side.

If it were me I'd hit up a really nice Drawing Tablet for my PC.

Of course, we have to know what the new sets look like so we can keep everyone on BZP from posting them ;)

Personally I would rather twenty of any set over that :P I still stand with the thought that if he had spent his own money, he would be a moron, but since it was his dad's, s'all good. Still, you gotta imagine that if he can manipulate his parents into that kind of malarkey then he's probably already got everything else a spoiled kid would need.

Cendox makes me gag. I can deal with Kikanalo redux, but not Vultraz redux. Skopio is pretty cool though.

So now that I'm on Rank 3-going-for-4, it looks like this game might actually be hell. Awesome. You have to get 32 tires from a module that produces one a day. Rock. On. Not to mention the stuff you have to do -after- that. Yikes. Who was it with the racing module? When I get to the point where I start needing victory ribbons I'll do some click trades with ya.

Eh, you know, if I could convince somebody else to buy me twenty sets, I think I'd do it to. Now, if that kid was spending his own money, then yeah, way to be stupid, but getting the dad to do it? rock on. Also, multiple Zesk is worth it. Skirmix, not so much. Damn you Kikanalo remake... oh well, I guess it was one of the best Rahi we ever got, IMO...*gets out wallet*

Guys, just throwing this out there, Omi is a pretty nice guy in real life. Like, ridiculously nice sometimes about things. It's cool if you don't want to like him, but maybe give him a chance? Like Jinzo said earlier, clean slate right? Also, complete surprise on my part with the news post acknowledging the Toa Mata Nui set. Go reporters. :P
