I'd just like to give some more anecdotal evidence to the "Girls enjoy building, boys action" theory going on; Former girl-friend of four years had never touched a Lego set before she met me. At her first Brickfair she was absolutely enamored with sets like Green Grocer and Creator, and she now has a small city growing in her closet. She still loves little cars and houses and things like animal creator sets. She is currently nineteen, and was fifteenish when she first got introduced to this stuff. She, like many others, absolutely deplores the pink Belleville. She also does love the Minifigs.

I've got them all on the off chance I might find someone to sell them to someday, or if all else fails they'll work as storage should I need to store all my sets for whatever reason.

It makes me sad you don't know who Mata Nui is. In a nutshell, the story is completely based on his existence, so he's kind of a big deal :O But the design is excellent, and whether intentional or not the weapon design is an awesome throwback to the original Bionicle Logo. You guys did a great job here, and pay Alg no heed.

When she's posed right, Kiina looks pretty killer, and I mean, you can tell they at least tried for the feminine look. I mean, you gotta give these guys credit where its due. She's not a man, not at all like what they've given us in the past. This is a bright new future for female sets I think.

This review makes him look great, I fully approve of the design. But I have to tell you, whoever designed that back line up on the canister deserves a gold star. That looks just excellent. You guys are gonna move some toys with the kind of stuff you are putting out lately with your graphic designs, please keep up the good work.

If you think about it, since you don't know what Lego is looking for, there is no way you could judge which entry was "best" for the contest. When we understand the specifics it might turn out these really were the best entries.
