@ P4trickvH: I will only be at Legoworld the last 4 days. From Sunday till wednesday. That is if Sandvik allowes me to keep both models 1,5 month longer. The 2 models were meant to be shipped to sandvik, Austria somewhere in september. So I hope I'll get permission to keep them a bit longer so that I can show them at Legoworld.

The PF 300 is finished for quite some time now. I've also finished the Sandvik Beltbridge to go along with it. Last night I motorized the 2 models to get them working for Legoworld 2011 in Zwolle the netherlands. It worked and maybe I will make a video of it working. here are some pictures: the Sandvik Beltbridge: And the two models together:

By phone ( Lego Direct) you can order 15 different elements and 200 pieces per element per order. When you need for example 16 different elements you have to place 2 orders. At least that's what I was told at my last order.

Thanks guys, I can't wait either to build it for real. but there are parts in this boat that are rare and very expensive. Especially all the sand green parts and the tan pin joiners. So it will be a long project to get this one build, Besides that I'm working on a model for Sandvik Mining equipment which has to be finished somewhere around the first of september. but i'll keep updating this post once and a while.

Hello, I hope this is the right place for my beamtrawler, if not please relocate it. After building several large mining excavators in minifig scale it was time for something else. I always create my models in Ldraw and then order all the bricks, that's why the picture below is not yet in real bricks. I have always liked those types of fishing boats so I thought I give it try. I think it turned out really well. This one will be build later this year. The dark red and red bricks for the hull are already at home. It will be 27 studs wide , 101 studs long and 72 studs high. It is not based on a specific ship so I could build it any way I wanted. The VLI - 8 text was the most easiest for me to make out of bricks. For anyone thats pops the question about the tan lightsabre blades in front: in the model they will be replaced by 3mm tan rigid hose. but those blades makes drawing much easier.

What a great model. So recognizable. just a perfect MOC with very nice building technics.

It isn't finished yet. I stil have to make all the stairs and railing on the other side of the machine and also the operatorscab, and the stairs to it, at the top of the apronfeeder Then it is finished, but from this view it looks indeed like it is.

great model, and the video is just excellent. I wish I could create such videos of my models.

And another update. The hopper and the lower platform with the two cabins are finished. @ Dluders, At this moment I start to believe that it can be build with real bricks . At the moment I'm already placed the tiles and created all of the red bars along the side of the hopper. Maybe If I have the time today I'll shoot some pictures of that and post them on my flickr account as well as here to be continued.

And again a very nice model. Great work and an impressive Sandvik collection you have there.

And the next step is done. The crusher is finished. I also changed the 1x4 technic bricks In the frame of the apronfeeder into 1x4 bricks. It turned out that it wasn't necessary to use the technic bricks and connect them with each other to get more strength, and now the frame looks even better. more pictures here on flickr to be continued

I finally installed the PF for digging. now what's left to do is driving the tracks.

I've started building the Sandvik PF 300. Untill now I finished the frame and tracks to be continued

The v-shape is in fact the biggest problem. I've made a construction under the conveyerbelt that connects with the platform on top of the v-shape. My guese is that it isn't strong enough . The only way to find out if this can be build is simple: build it. I've started collecting the bricks and so far I've ordered 2500 bricks just for the frame, all four tracks the v-shape and the platform on top of the v-shape. So the build has more or less started. I'll be posting pictures of the build on my flickr photostream. There aren't any live pictures to be found of the real PF 300 because Sandvik is currently building the first one ever for a mining site in brasil.

That's a nice one. It isn't that much smaller than your first one. the funny thing is I was thinking about building one in minifig scale yesterday evening. But now that I've seen yours I think I'll build somethng else. If even you can't get PF to work in this model, I will not even try to begin building one in minifig scale.

Thanks everyone @Zbli: all the gears, cabledrums and cables are already installed, so it just a matter of placing the motors and IR receivers and it works. I tested it by hand before closing. And of course there will be a video of the model working. Just have to save some money first for all the PF parts. I need 5 Xl, 2 M, 2 IR receivers, One rechargeble battery, one battery box and 11 sets of PF lights. Otherwise I would have to take the P&H apart, and that's something I,m not willing to do yet.

Hello everyone, this is my first post on eurobricks and since my P&H shovel was also posted in this thread I thought that my bucyrus could be here as well. Optically it is finished, just have to place some red plates 1x1 and some black minifighands for the railing and last but not least the Bucyrus logo on top of the A frame. It will become fully functional once I've put in all the PF motors, but I wanted it to look like its done for the modelshow europe in march this year. more pictures at my flicker account
