Yep, they ship all throughout Europe.

I already got all of the sets a week ago thanks to Amazon.de, so this isn't really big news for another Englishman like me. I may buy the Ultrabuild sets though. Unbeknown to most people, Kaxium was a Tesco exclusive in the UK.

Looking at Breez and Furno side by side, I think the white on Breez complements her very well. On Furno however, due to all the colours already present on his body, it just looks like a mess. I think one of the main problems with some of this year's sets is that the designers have gone overboard on colours; I like sets to have 3 or 4 colours, some of the Breakout models have 7 or 8. This is even more of a problem in the summer wave. Another thing I'd like to point out is that while (in my opinion) Breez looks better with the narrow shoulders, it lessens the range of motion in that area by a great deal, mainly due to the huge shoulder-pads. Also, for Kalhiki: Witness its beauty.

Here you go. I don't think the Evo we saw in OoF (that acronym still makes me laugh ) would have composed himself and formulated a plan in the manor he did in that clip. In my eyes he would've most likely sat down and meditated then prepared himself with some zen-moves like he did when facing Drilldozer, Nitroblast and Fire Lord in OoF, then started his attack. There would have probably been less speaking too. Also, when watching OoF on YouTube, I noticed that there were many comments along the lines of "OMG, Evo is Asian?!". I can't envision anyone saying that when Breakout is posted on YouTube . As neither of us seem to be convincing each other, maybe we'll have to agree to disagree, at least until the episode's début; we can't really make any final judgement now.
-
So they should've developed the character that was already established, instead of changing his personality completely. (A meditating zen-man and an eccentric, outgoing Hero aren't very similar in my view.) Also, as Kalhiki said, they should've at least kept his accent to make him a bit more consistent.
-
This is what I'm talking about. That's what Evo was like in Ordeal of Fire, now, to me, he seems quite adventurous and outgoing, like Nex was in Savage Planet and Ordeal of Fire. To be honest, many of the Heroes share the same qualities, the characters in the series have had an extremely minimal amount of character growth anyway, with the exception of Bulk. EDIT: Voltix's mask will probably be silver or pearl dark grey. The black one was probably just a place-holder until they could recolour it, or perhaps it was pearl dark grey, and it just looked black due to the bad picture quality. Also, I think Nex and Bulk's chest-plates WON'T change colour. Nex's secondary colour is white, and Stringer's chest-plate is his secondary colour, so why wouldn't it make sense if Nex's was too? Bulk's may look white, but in actuality I think it's silver. The only difference I think the final sets will have is printing, like the 3.0 ID plates.
-
No... The opposite. I DON'T want Evo and Nex to behave very similarly, I want them to be DIVERSE like they were in Ordeal of Fire. I don't mind the changing of character traits, but to me, Evo seemed very alike personality-wise to Nex or Furno in that clip.
-
Which is bad because now we're going to have two eccentric Heroes, unless they randomly decide to alter Nex's personality to what it should be. The reason why there's only 8 sets is because there was only four Heroes left to make, and each Hero can only go up against one villain each, according to LEGO's logic. They could have made it twelve by introducing two new Heroes, but for some reason LEGO doesn't want to do that at this point. Besides, if it was the last wave, surely they'd be a Furno XL? By the way, where's Aanchir? I kind of miss his long, in-depth posts...
-
He wasn't on Tanker Station 22. Perhaps LEGO thought kids would find a calm and collected Evo boring, so they changed him up a bit.
-
Evo vs. Toxic Reapa. The landscape of Z'chaya looks great, but it seems that they decided to completely change Evo's personality? Okay...
-
According to LEGOPictureHQ, there is no 'Speeda Demon' set. Perhaps it just wasn't included in the catalogue; I guess we'll have to wait for Toy Fair.
-
I'm already doing a review, sorry.
-
I think Brickthing is working on a Thornraxx review, so I won't steal his thunder , but I'll happily put together a Breez review.
-
Am I the only one who finds that guy's background music REALLY annoying now? He's used the same track for about a year... Anyway, I thought you guys might like these pictures: If anyone wants me to do a review on any of these, or still has any picture requests, just let me know. On the note of the summer sets, the villains are good, the heroes are bad (with the exception of Stormer XL), and I'm disappointed that we're only getting 8 sets. Also, 'Speeda Demon'?
-
Nope, they're all the same. I'll have some pictures of Splitface and some other sets up tomorrow.
-
When we do get pictures, I'd advise everyone not to get too obsessed by them. Sure, enjoy them an' all, but don't get too infatuated with a line that's not going to come out for another 6 months, especially when a new line has JUST been released.
-
Which is why I proposed the theory in the first place.
-
I think the expression is "burst your bubble." In all seriousness, yes, I assumed they were similar enough to be already released pieces in set-form, either way, I still think it's possible, as I think Aanchir's theory is too.
-
Interesting theory. Perhaps it's also plausible that the Breakout Stormer and the purple villain will be released as a limited edition co-pack like Bulk & Vapour? It's possible, as they both seem to only have re-colours, no new pieces. Maybe Breez was capturing Thornraxx on his planet during the confrontation with Black Phantom?
-
Hey guys, I got all the Breakout sets apart from the ones I already had in the mail today, from amazon.de, so I should be able to have reviews of Breez and Splitface up soon. (Not Thornraxx because Brickthing's already covering him, right?) There may be a slight delay due to some Christmas duties, but both reviews should be up within a week.
-
You're not going to take an explicit statement in an official promotional clip as canon? Right...
-
Since I'm a big Doctor Who fan, and the regular episode is 45 minutes long, I don't share the same view. Also, what I want to know is: If Black Phantom is the leader of the breakout, who or what will the big villain of summer be? Maybe we will have a Witch Doctor-sized vehicle instead of another leader!
-
...It's not going to be a movie, it's going to be a 45 minute episode, like Savage Planet.
-
For anyone else living in the UK, they're coming out here Boxing Day. Thanks to eBay, I was already able to snag Rocka, Jawblade and Surge.
-
Surge review. Black Phantom review. (He has the re-coloured head!)
