Hey all, looking for some help with a potential MOD of 76085 (JL Battle of Atlantis). I apologize if I posted this in the wrong area, I looked around and figured this would be an acceptable place. I'm more than happy to post pictures if I mange to complete this without giving up. My first attempt at something beside a small color swap or mod. So far i've purchased two sets and made small mods to put them together into a full circle rather than a half circle. I'd like to try to place this new structure on a base plate and fill the surrounding empty plate area with underwater moss/plant life. My issue is that I don't really know where to begin with the plant life. My goal would be to use darker green and olive green leaves as well as dark green plant sea grass to make this happen. Any tips on where to begin with layering or placing the leaves etc.? Edit: I have a large number of 6x5 Dark green plants (2417) that I am considering using with some (2423) parts.

Are we sure about that though? That's really the only promotional item where the costume looks that green. For example, the costume displayed at recent conventions looks more bronze/brown on the torso with a majority of the green remaining on his lower half. (Not trying to spark movie discussion. Accuracy of the figure is oddly important to me)

Have to agree with this. It looks really awesome once it's built. The build doesn't drag either. Glad I bought it

Edit: aquaman is definitely not that green. If anything the torso has more of a bronze/brown to it. Thinking the lego version is pretty spot on for accuracy Wish we could have gotten some arm printing though A few notes, the lack of side printing/dual mold on Batman's legs doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. However, the Knightcrawler is a tedious and repetitive build. Put on some music and try breaking it into two build sessions. Duplicating legs 4 times is monotonous.

I was able to find all 3 JL sets at my local stores today. Inventory checkers show that quite a few shipments came in (in the US). Figured I'd share incase someone was looking

Flying Box continues to disappoint. However, I managed to find Battle of Atlantis early at my local store. I don't care for top piece, it's too flimsy and falls off easily. However, the glow in the dark accents and (opinion) phenomenal minifigres make the set one of my favorite purchases out of recent DC sets.

I tried to give the Flying Fox the benefit of the doubt. Atleast it's not a complete box? Oh wait, that's because it's missing two sides... Definitely a disappointment.

Definitely very similar. At first glance I'd say the 2016 model can easily be made to look exactly the same. I try to view sets individually without comparing to earlier designs. Separate from the 2016 Batmobile, I don't think this batmobile is a bad build.

After seeing the Flying Box in HD and out of the box, I gotta say I like it. While it may not be enough to justify the price point, I really like that Batmobile and the brick built figure*. A better superman would've sold the set for me.

Kind of disappointed with the tactical Batman. Even though the printing is awesome, I feel like it needed a different mask. I wouldn't complain about a darker version of the goggles Batman from the lego Batman movie.

I apologize I'm at work and was posting quickly. I almost linked it but didn't recall the forums policy for leaked photos from unofficial sources. Definitely a new hair piece but I'm not sure I'm a fan of the figure. Hoping an HD quality photo will improve my opinion.

Dang it. I feared that. The leg printing doesn't even seem to line up right in some of the new leaks. Rather disappointing. Thank you for the quick and reasonable response. It makes a lot of sense if these are leaking because they're already being produced

I tried something extremely similar. Much too bulky. I haven't been able to find a way to make front armor without a total overhaul or adding bulk. Glad I'm not alone

Ok. Having some difficulty finding pants for a semi-purist. (I don't paint or morph parts but In this case I'm incorporating a digital printed chest due to the tattoo requirement) trying to find pants that could be used for a S-Skwad Joker outfit- specifically the purple trench coat with the purple and gold legs+batman leggings. I'm about to give up but I figured I'd look for some outside input before doing so.
