  1. This is amazing @MasterofElements! Building it right now with my son!
  2. Is that the weird Toys R' Us that just opened in the US or the surviving Toys R' Us in other countries.
  3. @ToaDraco It's refreshing to see such enthusiasm on this site! Genuinely! Lego released a bunch of very similar mechs for the Nexo Knights line. They created a bunch of new pieces for those mechs that are reused here, so if you're thinking of making custom ones there are many more color options available. https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Nexo-Knights/subtheme-Battle-Suits And if by "previous Venom set" you mean 76115 I can confirm, the Venom there is awesome (small bonus for Spider-Gwen too). One of my favorite Lego builds actually. I wouldn't call it a mech, and I removed the controls from the neck, but that just makes it cooler to me. Reminds me of the old Spider-Man arcade game where at the end of the first (?) level, Venom grows to gargantuan size and you fight him as the boss. On a side note, giant-sized Venom is a staple of multimedia adaptations of the character, but I can't recall it ever happening in the comics. p.s. the Spider-Man mech from 76115 is hot garbage.
  4. Sorry if this is a duplicate question. Is it confirmed that the price is going up in the US? ed. I assume so, but still hold out hope that it won't go up.
  5. Just to confirm, the Spider-Man,Spider-Gwen, Doctor Octopus, Venom are identical to the 2019 versions. Do I have that right?
  6. Link to the Brickset article with set photos for 2010 sets. Hope you like mechs. Cheap mechs. At least a couple of figures are newly comic-inspired versions of what we previously only had MCU versions (Black Panther and Mysterio). Most of the rest of the stuff we had heard about before. While Marvel sets have always been about the figures first, I can't say a single build in this series is appealing to me at all. The line is moving younger (which is OK!). https://brickset.com/article/47657/2020-marvel-sets-revealed!
  7. Sorry, I am having a hard time finding this. Hints?
  8. I just wanted to say how much I like this. Very nicely done.
  9. Very nice collection! It does look like there are quite a few non-purist pieces, so I probably know the answer to my question. How did you get the big arms for Killer Croc?
  10. Easy to troll this forum I guess. These posts are making less and less sense.
  11. You seem to have the Marvel and DC universes all jumbled up. Only one in that list is Marvel, the rest are DC. Red-X is also DC. This is the Marvel thread.
  12. I'm looking for the Black Panther head in #LegoLeaks on Instragram, and I cam across a Thanos minifigure head. It's definitely different from the Mighty Micros head. Is it real? This would confirm a minifigure Thanos in the upcoming wave. Sorry if everybody knows this already, it's new to me. It was posted by k.lego. There are a couple of pics of it.
  13. Yessssss! New tail for Squirrel Girl looks fantastic!
  14. You make a good point. I haven't really understood the desire to make a purist version of a character that already exists in official Lego UNLESS it is a specific version of that character. (e.g. Spider-Man home-made suit which hasn't been released). I always thought the purist movement was about trying to figure out the best possible parts to capture the look and feel of a character. If an official part exists, how can you find a better purist version? Rocket's tail in orange/white would be great! I don't think I have ever seen that before, Rocket's tail in grey is not great, and I have several.
  15. Just saw the leaked image of the next CMF series. Hoping that fox costume has a tail that could work for Squirrel Girl. I currently use Furty's tail , but that connects at the neck and interferes with many hairpieces, so I can't use which is the best choice for Doreen Green I think. You can barely see a tail poking out from behind the CMF fox.
  16. I just gave him regular green legs. The Mighty Micros are regular figs with short legs. Swap the legs and you are pretty much ready. Put a couple of 1x1 tiles in green under the feet to give him some height if you like.
  17. I think it will look cool. Try it!
  18. edit: bad joke. I regretted it immediately I think the batpod should be not too bad to make on your own, right? No exclusive parts?
  19. What's wrong with the yellow and blue one from 2012? It will be the wrong yellow. Wolverine and Power Man use the "Bright Light Orange" color. Here's a list of all legs that include Bright Light Orange. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catID=484&catXrefLevel=0&colorPart=110&itemBrand=1000&catType=P
  20. What about those Jurassic World security force guys? They have an interesting pattern on them.
  21. Does anyone know if the "Goose" in the CC set 77902 is a standard cat piece as in 76127 or has it been modified in some way?
  22. Often there are a lot of posts here written by adults about what AFOLs and what kids want from Marvel and MCU sets. I though I would share a quote from my 9-year old: "Daddy, don't get any more random jets" I can't remember exactly which set elicited this response, but after I bought 76067 he convinced me to "just get the figures next time." We skipped this year's quinjet for this very reason, as we already have 4 mini-fig scale Avengers jets (plus even more random ones) and "it wasn't even in the movie!" Even kids have different opinions about what they like. But every Lego set is someone's first Lego set and someone else's 100th Lego set.
  23. It is fun to make your own though. Purist customs are a cool way to make characters by building them the Lego way.
