Most likely because of all the talk (and maybe the links to leaked pics/thread) about the new Death Star. You are not allowed to discuss/talk/post on a forum about the most anticipated set of the year.

Designers vid: 'Look at all these changes! Every brick is in a darker color' But serious though: I didn't expect anything and I'm still letdown. Remaking sets after a few years is fine by me, but not if there is so much material that hasn't even been touched upon. And if you do a remake, put at least some effort in not making it look like an exact copy. But we will have to wait and see what has changed when the official release video comes out etc etc. But from TLG point of view it probably makes sense as all the people who missed out on the 2008 version will probably buy this.

Right now I'm designing a Justice League MOC, but I need your guys help with something. I'm trying to make a Steppenwolf figure (for those who don't know who that is he is Darkseids uncle and commander of his army). This is the version I want to use as inspiration for the figure: Does anyone know any good parts I can use for this figure? And also, who would you like to see as the villain for the Justice League? Except for Darkseid as a bigfig doesn't fit the MOC I'm designing :p

Or he knows what's in the winter wave and concludes that 'X fig' is not in this wave, but it will be in a set, so it must be the summer wave. I think that that is more likely than having info on the sumer wave of 2017.

Wouldn't be suprised if the designer video is posted tonight (as the Disney Castle also got a video on Monday) and if not then certainly later this week. But that's just a guess so don't take this as confirmed information. The information about the Death Star does make me wonder how it will look tho, but it sounds like 10188 2.0.

That's the plan, but making things on my own is not my strongest point (moccing, I do like MOD). We'll see :p

I can't seem to find the Army thread, but as I just purchased them I will post it here. Bought 65 FO Stormtroopers, 11 FO Snowtroopers, 10 FO Stormtrooper Heavy Artillery making it an army of 118 Stormtroopers, 11 Snowtroopers, 13 Flametroopers and 26 Heavy Artillery. Does anyone know the name/number for this round 1x1 part (with 6 knobs in the sides)? I thought it came with the Sandcrawler UCS as I have used this part in 1 or 2 sets, but I can't recall which one and Brickset/bricklink database can't help me either..

Still thinking about buying 2 and making it 1 castle (with opening function) or just buy one and display it as it is. What do you guys think? It's for displaying and don't care for the play features. Money isn't the problem either.

Figs are okayish, but only because of 3 new characters. The price/piece ratio is not even acceptable with 2 big figs, but my problem is what they did with those pieces.. It looks like a Juniors set.

I thought it would be nice to give you guys an update on the Bridge project. I did the same to the parts that hold the bridge up. I also used Plate, Modified 2 x 8 with Door Rail instead of the original rail part so that you can't see the under side of the bridge. This isn't the final version, but just an update on the progress :)

I wouldn't be suprised if you get the Green Arrow/Supergirl 'polybags' with the purchase of a Story Pack or any other 'bigger' Dimensions release. Same as the polybags you get with the Lego console games.

Sooo since I enjoy moccing so much I'm gonna start my own 'Super Hero' City. It's a project for a long time, but I'm open for options you guys have. Right now I'm making the bridge the centre piece of my city which connects the left and right part. The sets I'm going to add in are: Daily Bugle MOC Avengers Tower MOC Spiderman Rhino Attack set construction MOC Ghosterbusters HQ Some side builds like TMNT As you can see all those themes are new york based (for most part) so that's something I would like to use as a red line. Anyone got some Marvel (set) ideas that I can turn into something for in the city that fit the NY theme?

Nice find! About time they made smaller 'floating Beams'.. Using those larger 1x12 bars isn't always a good option.
