  1. look how many holes are on the beam between roof and rear engine cover. That thing is gigantic.
  2. here we go : http://zusammengebaut.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/09technik.jpg
  3. nearly "live" feed: http://zusammengebaut.com/international-toy-fair-2016-lego-live-ticker-4042/
  4. trenchers are fine, but there were trenchers before. BWE is first of its kind. TLG made trucks before Arocs, front loader before 42030, cranes before 42042 etc. But real badass big mining BWE is 1st of its kind. B model of BWE should (I hope) be something 1st of its kind too. I hope in something like this:
  5. I asked about BWE - B model first, I was wondering. I would put my money on some other configuration of wheel bucket excavator or different mining equipment. (like 42042 is crane and B is also crane) (or something completely different, unrelated to A and bonkers - like humanoid robot figurine, or typewriter :-) )
  6. cool, if that is true one more reason to get BWE, that truck is not bad at all
  7. it is highly questionable. you cannot apply this logic indefinetly. Price will become sooner or later prohibitive, even if you keep 10cent/part ratio. 42030 is not very good seller, because for lots of customers it is simply too expensive. If you make sets for 350, 500 etc no matter how fabulous they would be, number of potential customers will be smaller and smaller and unlike 10cent/part function, which is linear, price/customer pond is not linear forever. At certain price it will stop being profitable to go higher and higher and offer bigger and more expensive. I am not saying that 300euros is ceiling but for sure at some point you would reach moment when it is better to sell way more boxes for lower price.
  8. I assume you saw it. Please reveal main colours of sets. Volvo - black/yellow Class - grey/light green/red BWE - ? car - ? please replace ? with correct colour, if you can :-) Thank you. edit: maybe idea for TLG, it would be cool if you can choose the body colour for car. Just like you can at the dealership. chassis etc is given but according to you wish there will be red/yellow/purple/etc bags with bricks for body in your box.
  9. Xerion has same size wheels, Axion has different size. edit: too late :-)
  10. I think you might me right. I hope BWE will be able to do brick mining (cleaning bricks from the floor and convey belt them to the box on the other side - that would be very...lets say..practical) I do my Legoing on the floor. :-)
  11. if BWE is 3000pc, what would be the B model? Any guess? They will be no tires, probably chain gears.. What would you build/design/quess/want as B model for BWE?
  12. honestly, in the era of camera in any phone, I would bet there will be some blurry picture on twitter earlier.
  13. so according to promobricks it is other way round with price of car and BWE ( :-((( ): Volvo EW160E Bagger (42053) £69.99 Class Xerion 5000 Traktor (42054) £119,99 – kommt mit ganzen neuen großen Reifen Schaufelradbagger (42055) £249,99 – mit über 3.000 Elementen das bisher größte LEGO® Technic Set „Confidential Technic Ultramotive“ (42056) £178,99 – neuer Sportwagen ähnlich einem McLaren
  14. Volvo - good price - I am glad it is not all in 100+ GPB category. pneumatic digger, excellent. Xerion - great BWE - one I am the most excited - it is pushing limits with price for me, but I love mining machinery. 250GBP car - no, thank you. car does not have enough function to model to justify the price for me. It is simply too much. I consider myself very fortunate career-wise for european standards, but 250 is too much. I would pay 500 for submarine that dives, but not 250 for car.
  15. Hello, I am new here. Let me weight in. Assuming it is true that "ultimate IP car" is already used in other form in Lego Racers. You keep forgetting this: 75876-1: Porsche 919 Hybrid and 917K Pit Lane (picture found via google) And there is one of the most ultimate cars ever - almighty 917K. Lets think about it! tube space frame (perfect for Lego) chassis, 12cylinder flat engine (lots of moving parts - never used configuration of engine in factory set), huge vertical axle fan, bonkers suspension geometry (e.g. pedals in front of front axle), 3 pedals, manual gearbox (not so modern but better for Technic and much better playability - much better than electronically shifted flappy paddle gearboxes - do not forget Lego is mainly for kids - most customers are kids/parents buying for kids). Old - read as "classic" - car is far better for Lego than its modern grandchildren like 911/918 or so. I would jump 2m high if it is 917K (3 m if it is in Gulf oil colours) (Also car to consider is upcoming Ford GT which Ford intend to race ar LeMans in 2016....I hope it is 917)
