  2. I think the Fisherman's hat is a different color too... It looks black in the picture above while the original minifig had a dark blue hat.
  3. My younger brother is not good at keeping things as a surprise, so he already said that he got me 7641 City Corner for Christmas. He has no clue about Lego and he was really proud that he bought a nice set for me, so sweet!
  4. This looks really lovely, I would gladly spend my Christmas holidays in a log cabin like this one. My favorite elements are the windows and the addition of the Christmas lights. Nice work!
  5. Guess you can tell that I'm slightly addicted to taking pictures of these little guys... I'm very happy with how this one turned out:
  6. Nice work, pong0814! Here's a recent one from me: this is Frank, he never liked tourists much...
  7. Thanks I couldn't choose where to post it and opted for this thread in the end, hope that's ok.
  8. Stormtroopers have feelings too...
  9. The Egyptian couple is visiting their ancestors...
  10. Your modular street looks absolutely gorgeous and these new buildings are among the main reasons for that. Really great work!
  11. Honestly, at first I had no interest in the van. But after seeing that video, I simply can't wait to get my hands on that beauty. So many details in that timeless design. Love it! Shall we take bets on the MSRP? Or has this been announced already?
  12. Ok, that is mega cute! I also love your story on your 'history' with this set. Nice!
  13. As a kid, I had the 6380 Emergency Treatment Center and it was one of my top favorite sets! I remember being fascinated by the ambulance and the overhead surgical light. If Lego were to release new Hospital sets, I would love to see a detailed ambulance, various torsos for the medical staff, a wheelchair, crutches,... Maybe they could go the 'Playmobil route' and release one big set plus different add on sets that you can actually attach to the main set. Hospital expansion Lego style!
  14. So these pictures pop up right on the day that I got my box of series 5 figs. Lego life is good! Even though they're wonderfully designed, the Minotaur and Highlander are my least favorite. Not really 'my themes', I guess. But the others are top notch! Being a NYC geek, I love love love the Lady Liberty fig. And the Space Woman is funny! I wouldn't take this minifig design too seriously, I'd consider it as a little wink from Lego to us AFOLs. Other favorite parts are the Skater Girl's trousers, the Mechanic's hairpiece and the Alien head. Great job, Lego! Can't wait for more info on the remaining six minifigs...
  15. My box of Series 5 minifigs arrived today. Boy oh boy, they're awesome! My favorites are the boxer and the gladiator. During the weekend I bought Diagon Alley, was very surprised to find it at one of my local toy stores. And I then I couldn't resist...
  16. Fantastic build! The pig hanging outside, advertising the butcher, is priceless!
  17. Yep, that's what it says. They also offer "pick up service" so it's my understanding that people who chose that option will be able to go and pick them up from July 25 onwards.
  18. Series 5 boxes are now up for pre-order at Playzone (a Belgian webshop) and will be available from July 25. I placed my order and can't wait to receive these beauties!
  19. Wow that's very nicely done! I'd happily move into that Hillside House any day. Great idea to combine it with the log cabin.
  20. Definitely! And let's not forget, since the introduction of Collectible Minifigs, their annual production of minifigs has increased to an even bigger extent than back in 2006.
  21. "Where's the rest of the crew?" by Fat Tony: 2 points "Tia Dalma's Shack" by Matn: 2 points "Encounter at the blacksmith workshop" by Yatkuu: 1 point
  22. Thanks so much, designholic and Pandora. These little guys are so versatile and fun, it's great to think of different setups, scene possibilities etc.
  23. Absolutely beautiful! So many great details: the trash cans, the little 'open' sign, satellite dish,... You captured the feeling of a buzzing city like Paris very well.
  24. Wonderfully detailed review, Zeek! Great pictures! I look forward to number three.
  25. Thanks, Darth Yogi. Here's another one I took today... a sailor's life! If you click on the image, you can see a bigger version on Flickr.
