Hi, I'd like to join... I think I'm quite ok when it comes to the photography bit (see my Flickr) but I really would like to learn more about the content of a good Lego review. I have a Canon DSLR, flash, shoot through umbrella etc. And of course a number of sets to review. Looking forward to this!

Picked up some random S3 figs this past weekend: Race Car Driver, Baseball Player (2), Samurai Warrior, Sumo Wrestler and Space Villain. Had to stop myself from grabbing any of the S1 and S2 figs that they (still!) had for sale as well.

Great report, Dazmundo! I think the Werewolf is one of this series' best figs. He's... erm... pretty (but not quite).

Awesome, another Lego Lady from Belgium! I've been following your Flickr photostream, you're very talented!

I don't think I actually bought it though. It probably was a gift because, as a kid, I rarely bought toys myself. Yet my parents have always been very 'pro-Lego' so I got it for birthdays, Christmas,... I really liked this little set. It was a nice addition to the Emergency Treatment Center that I already had.

Congratulations to all the winners! It's been a pleasure to discover and look through your MOCs.

I voted for the punk rocker, mainly because I love his t-shirt and guitar. It's absolutely ideal for a MOC that I've been thinking about for quite a while now, so I can't wait to get my hands on this fig. I mean, I do have Brickforge guitars, but this is the "real stuff". :) All the other figs are brilliant too, of course. I love all the series because they're giving us so many new hairpieces, accessories,... Even if some are a bit similar, like the two Skater Boys, they still offer great possibilities.

Hello everyone... I'm Elke, I've been reading the forum like a maniac since I got out of my Dark Ages a few months ago. So I thought it was about time that I registered and said hello to you guys. :) I got back into Lego, partly thanks to the collectible minifigs and also because of the talented Lego photographers on Flickr. I've been trying to create some Lego shots as well, you can see them in my Flickr stream. Being a 27 year old girl, I guess I'm a bit of an oddity among the Lego AFOLs. Haha! But hey, I don't care, Lego is great fun and I look forward to spending time here on the forum with so many nice people and kindred souls. Catch you later!
