  1. Awesome review. I don't mind the minifigures and I thought Captain Marvel has done nicely. But I agree Talos is a bit meh. The quinjet is nice considering the size of the set. So the cargo is for Goose? I thought when I build wow, why design the space while you can hardly access it? XD Be sure to check out my detailed thoughts here too. As usual I did a slow mo missile test =D
  2. But that was 2 days after I ordered. LEGO came back to me explaining that the VIP early access for AUS/NZ has some mistake so order being accepted while there is no stock ... so I will have to wait =(
  3. Finally built it after getting it on launch day. Here is my video review. I think this is one of the best if not THE BEST speed champions set ever. THE GOOD: The look and what else you can say with only 198 pieces with such beauty. (This also keep the price down) Printed Ferrari logo piece You can also say this is a 2 in 1 build THE BAD: NONE! If you haven't buy this yet, I strongly recommend you go buy it! Don't hesitate just buy it =D
  4. Great Reviews! I finally picked this up. It took a while as stock was scared since it released. I like the pink one, it always nice to have some new colour variations. Kinda sad that they categorise the torso as licensed part though but I don't have plan to build an army so one squad is enough for me. I also uploaded my thoughts on the set as well if you are interested.
  5. WOW that's one big order .... can I blame you on my order delayed shipping because the staff too busy picking your bricks? XD
  6. I ordered my set via Shop@home on the 20th and it's still "In Process". It's like a day until official launch and my order is not even "In Warehouse". Already sent customer service a complain. Anyone in also having the same issue?
  7. I attempted to fix Mera Minifigure's hair colour. What do you think?
  8. Thanks for the feedback. I didn't put price and piece count in my reviews most of the time because I'm based in New Zealand so need to think about how to shorten certain sentences and hard to cover all different pricing. May be will add captions on pricing in upcoming ones. And yes, lighting has been a problem since I started doing this, still trying to utilise what ever I can find at home right now. Currently figuring out what type of lights and what is the cost involved for better visuals =)
  9. Here is my video review on 76095 Aquaman: Black Manta Strike (P.S. Also tried slow mo to demo the fire power of Black Manta's sub around mid way through the vid) The Good: Good quality minifigures. Surprisingly well designed Submarine build. Pretty good price to be honest considering it's a licensed set. The Not So Good: Mera hair colour a bit off. No unmasked head for Black Manta. No ocean master =( And this probably just me that my Mera's second face has a slight mis-print. But overall, the good exceeds all the not so perfect points so I strongly recommend this set if you like the Aquaman movie!
  10. Went to see Alita: Battle Angel. IT was ok I just feel it has so much potential to be great but just tried to do too much and left the stronger parts feel underwhelmed. Having said that, the visuals are stunning. You can check out my non spoiler thoughts as well.
  11. What!? how come even the seasonal ones are so limited ... =(
  12. I’m from New Zealand. The air post from Europe usually arrive quite quickly with minimal custom interference. 8 working days was the longest wait after it shipped in my past experience.
  13. Another video review from me, this time it's 70836 Battle-Ready Batman and Metalbeard. Originally had no intention to buy this set but then got lured by the You're Welcome printed piece. The brick built Metalbeard is a bit underwhelming so it's going to be spare parts for other creation. But this is indeed a way more economical way to get this version Batman minus the printed arms and dual molded legs. Also you get an extra Apocalypseburg citizen!
  14. My 2 orders placed in January sent out 3 days after I ordered and arrived within 5 working days. However the latest order I placed in FEB is still in warehouse for a week already. I guess I'll just have to wait. May be they are indeed very busy because all those unique printed parts being available.
  15. Mixed feelings on the new sets. Probably will just buy the sets with new dinosaurs mold only.
  16. Luckily I don't have to. It's all about distributor trying to align with school holidays here =(
  17. I managed to see it on an advance screen last Saturday. (Long Story but NZ only get official release on 11th April) I like it and I think it is still good. I did worried a bit in the beginning that it will end up more like NINJAGO MOVIE but man it ended so well. The only part I didn't like is some of the characters from 1st MOVIE was just there for being there. I'm not sure if there are story for a 3rd one even though I would love to. If you are interested, you can check out my quick review on my channel.
  18. I have just completed a video review of 70822 Unikitty's Sweetest Friends EVER! I like the set. Especially the ice-cream. Love how they use the gold brick piece in brown to make chocolate bar. If there is anything to improve, it will be great if they include spare parts to build another unikitty head so I don't have to swap build but just swap the heads. It also raise a question on why the CML series use the old design for unikitty as the newer design is far superior. Anyway, I totally recommend this set to everyone if you like the characters from the movie and great price too.
  19. OMG Megbricks, remember to show us the creation with those big hauls of yours.
  20. Yes, and I think it's very good the variations included for the Queen since the alternate build is the form mostly appeared in the movie.
  21. As far as I know, this is the only set that comes with Susan at the moment.
  22. Hello everyone, Here is my video review on 70824 Introducing Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi. In my opinion the brick built banana is the highlight. It is well designed and surprisingly not easy to slip =P Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi also comes with 2 builds. It's interesting and mostly relied on CLASSICS style build. As a bonus you get a few extra characters like General Mayhem, Lucy and Susan. Overall I totally recommend this set if you like the Banana (Banarnar) and this is a cheap way to get General Mayhem as well. If any improvement needed, I think it would be nice if they include a hooded Lucy and an extra build for Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi but then it will be hard to keep the price down I guess.
  23. Wow that's a big haul. what are you planning to use it for?
  24. Just opened my LEGO MOVIE 2 Accessories Pack. Man, those sewer babies are cute. My opinion is that unless you want your own copy for the babies it's not worth it. I also did a review for it. check you if you are interested.
  25. Few days after I opened my box, like most of you I really feel Unikitty is unnecessary and it's a more inferior version compared to other Unikitty version available. The swamp monster/creature also a bit boring in my opinion. I wish they gave us more interesting characters or even different version of characters with exclusive accessories. Check you my review if you are interested.
