  1. wow you really went all out on this, its brilliant to see the fort and little ship especially, i think I am going to have to build them both when time permits, its nice to see them from different angles o thanks for that. Cant wait to see the largest armada set (if your still inspired ) Cheers
  2. wow some nice stuff already and sunday is usually the slow day on Eurobricks. Thanks for the extra pics Skipper, if anyone can find more of these (the alternate build pics), then this would be a good place to put them all as its nice to see what could have been. If you want to make a seperate post for the builds your welcome (with an indepth review on the sets and couple of shots from different angles) but i would love to see the results here too (that little fort is brilliant, I might make a redcoat version). It is weird that the armadas largest land set was not even built, its a shame that pirates died the same year the second book was released If anyone can find a alternate build for the enchanted island I would be most pleased, as I just got mine back from my mums attic and am looking for a interesting design to build with it. As of now I am attempting the little tavern thing from the Barracuda pic, ahh lazy sundays. Cheers all
  3. Hello all While traveling the net, I came across some rather interesting pictures of 'LEGO pirate set ideas' from there 'Idea books' released in the 90's, I put them all together and complied them in a blog post, and thought the best place to let people know about them would be here. I know if anyone wanted to build some of them and write a review I would be most excited. Special Pirate sets I hope you all enjoy
  4. [pid][/pid]192C Flickr member Indyman09 has created this rather interesting build, personally I am a huge fan of the ship and I think the faction he chose for it is rather interesting, I hope you all enjoy. The Atlantians are coming! by Indyman09
  5. That ship is huge, truly brilliant work especially since this is coming out of your dark age. Its a fantastic ship and its so nice to see something that looks a little like the sets of old (the schooner) become this huge behemouth of a modern Moc. I love the collection of merchants in the captians cabin and the re-design of the kitchen. As your new though it would be a good idea to post some pics up here so that people don't have to click a link to see such a great build. Posting Deeplinked Images from Brickshelf (this sould help you) One final request is could I see a wide picture with all the sections of your ship devided and placed next to each other (to get a full effect of the grandure. Fantastic work Cheers
  6. ha yeah I get it now the bridge is the nose and the back is the ears, makes sense, thanks for showing me something I never saw before i a set i've owned for ages. Cheers
  7. Thanks again veryone Don't worry about not knowing who the Bull Knights are Nightsshround, I will be reviewing them soon enought (after, dragon masters, lion knights, dark forest and fright Knights). Cheers for the positive feedback LEGODR its nice to get some opinions like that (know I know everyone thinks like me )personally I think the a few of the more prudant bandits might have that type of armour and its a really nice extra torso for any diehard collector as you can remove the pin and sawp the head and helmet (which would be really cool). I have now tonned down the background so I hope you approve. Smitty I too am lucky enought to have the wolfpack tower, I can't quite see the wolfhead myself but regarless its still a great set. cheers all
  8. well if your ever over at forbidden cove they did a competetion over there with this type of build, and I did post soemthing very similar here. however we don't have this actual build in are moc forum, which I thought was a shame. I hope you don't mind seeing it again cheers
  9. 188D Eurobricks and member Peter deYeule has created this brillaint trading post for the Jolly Roger Contest in Forbidden Cove and I thought it would be nice for all us on Eurobricks to see it too. I Hope you all approve Mphoto Imperial Trading Post Redux by Peter deYeule
  10. Hello All While looking around the net I stumbled upon these images on Bricktuts the picture quality isn't great but at least its an idea of the new sets, he also said he would update them soon so watch this space. I hope you like them
  11. If you think modifying an existing set will get you in the top five go right ahead, however I would use this as an opertunity to make something special, unique and interesting. its all about building something fun and enjoying your LEGO, have a crack at an new deign idea, you might like it . cheers
  12. Thanks for the nice feedback on my build, if its ok I mights repost it when I get a better camera (I ordered one off amazon a week ago, so anyday now) as I am not happy with the picture quality. I posted it up quick so that others could get a turn building (keep the ball rolling and what not) Also if anyone finishes a build I will be happy to go next (on any of the other five) as I really enjoyed that. Cheers all
  13. Your very welcome, I look forward to seeing your build. I think someone might want your elf tribe build, a page or two ago. You might need to pick someone. Cheers
  14. Members of the Guild I give you your first High Lord Executioner Leon Berger Born in a small farming community Leon was over-burdened with Love, his parents gave him so much that it made the poor boy quite insane, running away to join the army he managed to turn that madness in to brilliance and he became a successful commander of men. With this military genius there was also pain, as he cared little for life his men suffered greatly and his attrition rate was the worst in living memory. In revenge for so many lost comrades the lower ranks ambushed him one night and removed one of his eyes and all of the skin on his face and hands. With this pain his madness developed and he left the army in disgrace, eventually he was spotted by Artorious Rex and given a job as his Executioner. He is now much happier, though still crazy. I would like to now offer guild member volcanicpanik a chance to create his version of the High Lord Executioner Cheers all
  15. Thanks again all, its nice to get some feedback I really love these guys and its a shame they only had three sets (I have no idea why they dropped them ). The fig on the keychain cannot be removed from it, however there is an article Here that can show you how . Not a fan of the new Skin Skipper, I will think on how to tone it down some (maybe make the figs on the side smaller), cheers for the feedback though (its how I learn ) Lego sets as dustballs in your closet! save them they deserve better
  16. I got there about two hours earlier than you, just read my post (two above your one at 6.35) However to make up for it I will chose you after I am done. Sound Fair?
  17. May I please Volunteer for the High Lord Executioner
  18. Hello again all Continuing in my quest to write about every pirate and castle set ever released, I give you all the Wolfpack. The Lego Wolfpack Sets 1992-1993 Please note for those of you who have read my blog before you might notice a graphics change, opinions on my post and my new design would be most welcome. I can’t make it better without all your help. Cheers
  19. I'm not sure if Timure has taken it? check back a page any you'll see it.
  20. I would like to Volunteer for the High Lord Executioner, however I am not sure if it has been taken, as I see timure has completed his work very quickly . If timure has got the ball rolling with the executioner I would like to request he select me for the champion of Avalonia build as I have a good Idea for that too . Cheers all
  21. 188C Flickr Member Hardegon has created a wonderful Pirate Town, combining old and new figs and an interesting design(I love the statue), Enjoy all. Piazza By Hardegon
