  1. I made the crews of TNG, DS9 and Voyager (even so I prefer TNG as a show). I used standard LDD tiles only (no custom tiles). For those younger ones from left to right: TNG crew: Picard, Riker, Troi, Worf, Dr. Crusher, La Forge, Data (with Spot the Cat) and Wesley, Ensign Ro, Q, Guinan DS9 crew: Jake Sisko, O'Brien, Capt. Sisko, Dr. Bashir, Odo, Dax, Garak, Kira, Quark, Morn, Dukat, Worf VOY crew: Tuvok, Capt. Janeway, Chakotay, Neelix, Ensign Kim, The Doc (Hologram), Tom Paris, Lt Torres, Seven of Nine, Kes Extra (some Aliens): Andorian, Borg, Klingon Get the LDD file here: http://bricksafe.com...ek/Tng_crew.lxf I hope you like it ! Welcome any feedback or suggestion for different tiles and hairs :)
  2. Thanks everyone for the feedback ! And thats the cool thing about Lego ! We dont need TLG Just grab the LDD file, create the instructions and build it yourself !
  3. Short update. Of course Data has a foulding couch / bed http://bricksafe.com/files/m2m/star-trek/TNG_Datas_Quarter01.lxf
  4. Wow ! Nicely done and instantly recognizable!
  5. As you can see Lt. Cmdr. Data is a busy guy: He is painting as usual, but of course you can find a Sherlock Holmes hat in the corner, and his violin in the back, while his feline "Spot" wants to jump on his small bonsai tree. Left of his computer table should be hid bed. On his writing table in the front, he keeps "Tasha's hologram" diaomond. Interested in the LDD file ? Here http://bricksafe.com...s_Quarter01.lxf
  6. Nicely done. And Kirk looks nice enough !
  7. Sorry if this is the wrong place, and also apologies if this is not related. But there seems to be a problem with the following piece rendered: Brick with bow 1x5x4 inv 30099 The Lego stud logo is place incorrectly. I attach a picture and LDD file The Lego logo seems to be added at the upper (left) corner of the "bounding" box - while both studs miss the logo: Grab the test file here: http://bricksafe.com/files/m2m/test.lxf I am using LDD 4.3.9 Partslib 2075. Not sure if the this a problem with the part itself, or my problem, or a general one.
  8. Some people requested it. So here it is. Ten Forward from Star Trek TNG You can see Riker having a drink and chit-chat with Guinan, while Worf is eating !
  9. Thanks for all the feedback ! Well the warp core should be ok regarding stability if built in reality. You couldn't swing it like a light sword, but it would stand without breaking. Concerning the bridge... Working on it It's the "Generations" version of the bridge as you can see from the science panels on the the left (and right).
  10. I made the Engineering Room and Warp Drive in LDD, with the "Pool Table" Computer in the front and the Warp Drive in the back :) Of course you can change the dilithium crystals if needed in the Warp Drive ! You can grab the LDD file here.
  11. Wow ! Great shot with excellent lightning and an amazing model ! Instant like ! What are those "fishbowl" helmets ?

This looks overly Giger style ! Very well done ! Mind telling me which part you used here ?
  16. "It's full of leathery objects, like... eggs or something." ―Kane, regarding the Eggs inside the derelict (from Alien) Ooops: And a more complex scene: The Egg is a Turban hat, and it is fixed with a ski stick. Enjoy.
  17. I like it ! First one in 20 years ? Oh the joy !

    Scout starship

Absolutly amazing. Instant like for the cool ship, the colors, the nice surrounding.
  19. Quick update... I added some Aliens Aliens_Medlab_01.lxf
  20. Hi Missing Brick - yes I used your Med Lab as a baseline, because its awesome. The jars are biggers then yours, but I saw no other way because I wanted to include the face huggers - in in Lego everything is a bit obersized As "poor" Burke can see, the face hugges have the right Lego size I think: I made a copy of this scene:
  21. Something which I have wasting time recently: The Aliens Med Lab : We have Carter Burke, and of course some Face Huggers in tubes. It's missing a roof and the tubes would need to be connected to the roof for stability.

    [MOC] Aliens APC

Thanks for all the feedback ! For the weird gun rails - I kind of adjusted it, but its an issue which I can't figure out in LDD, as it it seems that the Flex Rod 32199 can't be connect to Double Snap 47973, which works in real. But can't get it done in LDD. Anyway I made some changes. I "upgraded" the guns to to Mini Shooter Parts, which may be aesthetically worse, but should be nice for playing (and shooting Aliens ). I also added a steering part at the back to control the wheel - https://vid.me/X0nw APC07b.lxf
  23. Inspired by various sources on the internet / flickr who build this in lego already I created a LDD version of the APC. I added an Ackermann steering in the back. And it should have some play-ability as you can move Lieutenant Gorman's chair, steer the wheels, adjust the seats safety bars. Comments welcome :)
  24. Is Java in general working on the VM ? Maybe an issue with Java & Parallels ?
  25. @Malou: try to close LDD, before starting bluerender. Otherwise LDD may block some critical resource files.
