  1. This is really great, especially the cockpit. As someone who's done a many Millennium Falcon mods, this is probably as good as you're going to get it without having to completely rebuild it or heavily restructure it. The interior is also really cool
  2. Anio, your builds never cease to amaze me.
  3. This is really well done, especially the underside. Recolour mods are some of my favourites because they're so simple yet can really breathe new life into an old model.
  4. He has pics of how its built on his Flickr. I haven't touched mine since I started this topic. I think I want to fully finish my Millennium Falcon MOC first (pics of my Flickr) and then go back to the X Wing. The grind never stops with sets like these.
  5. I cant believe even the insides of the wings are smooth. Incredible work
  6. This is awesome. I will never get tired of Falcon MOCs
  7. This guy managed to fix the gap and it looks far better but you do need more of those angled corner tiles. so i need to do another bricklink order eventually
  8. This set is alright, but the biggest problems are definitely the use of too many different colours (the white, grey, tan, even black... dont gel well together and make it look too messy, especially considering this is meant to be a brand new Falcon), and the gaps which have just gotten worse since the 2015 version, which the white colour doesnt help. For example the back part for some reason doesnt open and instead is built into the ship. I guess for structural support, even though that wasnt an issue on the 2015 version, and just makes it look far more gappy. I love the minifigs though, especially Solo and Lando. Those are some great figures. Also this review doesnt really comment on the set at all, and doesnt really have any personality. Something to improve on for next time :)
  9. Yeah i am aware of that and will attempt to fix that eventually
  10. I hope so. But with LEGO's track record it'll probably be 200 dollars
  11. That topic has a lot of good stuff! Will definitely investigate further
  12. I cant either, but it'll probably be between 220 - 240 bucks. my guess is 230. Which is insane for a set like that
  13. ItalicKeyboard shortcut Ctrl+I Yeah its a dark grey bar with the stopper thing near the end, shoved into light grey bar with the pin at the end. then just a dark grey cone and the dish.
  14. While I definitely understand people's complaints about the Slave 1 being Boba's and not Jango's, Boba's is simply much more recognisable than Jango's and would probably sell a lot better too. But that price, especially here in Australia...
  15. Hi there, today I'd like to share a few simple and easy to do modifications on the 2018 75218 X-Wing. First off, the back section of the X-Wing has some issues. The top part of the back area doesnt smoothly continue all the way to the end, but rather cuts off towards the end. I fixed this by simply adding longer tiles and adding a 2x2 plate at the back. You could also use a 2x2 tile if you prefer. X Wing Back 2 by Sucram H, on Flickr I also redid the greebling by extending the middle part up by 1 stud so it's flush with the plate at the top. This gives the back a much better look if you ask me. X Wing Back 1 by Sucram H, on Flickr I also changed the colour of the actuator to change the wings from tan to dark grey, so it doesnt stand out as much. I would've removed the actuator altogether and replaced it with greebling, but I wanted to keep as many of the features intact as possible. Next I redmade the cannons so they didn't have the spring-loaded shooters on them. Normally I actually like having the shooters on my builds, but on this set they just look big and bulky. I also extended the ends of the cannons to make them longer and more accurate. X wing cannons by Sucram H, on Flickr I also managed to get rid of the gaps on either side of R2D2 by attaching a 1x2 jumper plate to both of his legs, which still allows you to take him in and out while making that area look a lot more complete. X Wing R2D2 1 by Sucram H, on Flickr So those are all the adjustments I've made so far, next on the to-do list would definitely be the huge gaps in the engines. I would love to get some feedback on this and perhaps some modifications that you guys have made to your X-Wings! For more pictures of my modificatons, check out my Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/sucram_h/
  16. This looks really cool but annoying to display
  17. Bro this looks soooo good. If I owned this set I would just try to copy your mod.
  18. Recently got the Slave 1 and it's really good looking, but its so perfect that I cant modify it :( I like modding sets
  19. This looks pretty big. Fantastic job
  20. Mate nothings gonna happen if you make a throwaway account. I doubt anything would happen if you just used a normal account Also god that new stormtrooper looks like crap
  21. Yeah the cloud car shouldve been orange. the slave 1, while small, is pretty cool though.
  22. I think Cloud City is a set that is simply impossible to get right. This set has pretty good playability, but next to no displayability. The original set's design has potential to look better on display, as its a long narrow set, but playability could be compromised. If you try to make a set that looks like the actual cloud city exterior, it will have practically no playable functions, be way too big and expensive, and a whole host of structural issues that would be hard to tackle. Minifgs are cool tho
  23. While I have seen about a million different x wings, yours is definitely one of the best. You're definitely one of the best builders in the business.
  24. This is bloody amazing. Fantastic job
  25. 2019 sounds like a great year for Lego Star Wars. Im especially interested in the juniors X wing and Tie fighter. Also the 20th anniversary sets sound interesting
