Well lego could test the power of the memes on a High Ground 18+ set and see how it sells🤷‍♂️

It’s more like they hate TPM and especially AOTC. Lego on the clone front has been doing great since 2020 (outside the fact we still don’t have P2 Rex)

Okay well it could be based on the wedding scene with the priest,Anakin,padme,3po,and R2 charge like 70 dollars and make it an 18+ set 🤷‍♂️

That’s my point why would do a 200 dollar buildable Chewbacca sell especially to “kids” but not a 200 dollar Geonosis Arena or Theed Palace? Heck why would a Yoda’s Interceptor sell but not Ahsoka’s from season 5 or Obi Wan’s blue one or Anakin’s green one? Like the logic is just baffling and bizarre.

I mean Lego made the mediation chamber as an 18+ set for what? 70?80? Dollars and I have to assume that’s far less iconic or cool then getting a set based on “I don’t like sand” or even better Anakin and Padme’s wedding.

I know it’s hardcore fans but let’s be real it’s hardcore fans buying 18+ sets. But TONS of people have Hayden at cons sign jars of sand ask him about sand. So sure kids wouldn’t care for that as a set. But adults and teens 100% would (just like if lego were to randomly make a set with Bully Maguire sure kids may not care but any fans of those movies would freak out)

Obi Wan’s Starfighter was 13 years ago (Meant UCS) As for the gunship they completely botched the figures and honestly they should’ve released it as the 2022 May the 4th set.

I’d argue that this was true 10 years ago but I really don’t think it’s the case anymore. It also is apparent that lego knows N1’s sell very well so why haven’t the branched off to make the Royal Star Cruiser?

Here’s what I don’t understand though. Lego remakes the same crap on loop because it “sells” but how do know that a 50 dollar Bounty Hunter Pursuit also wouldn’t sell? Or a Theed Palace playset? Heck we know Boba Fett slave one’s sell so why not remake Jango’s? You can’t tell me the sales and profit margins on a Jango’s slave one would be any worse than Boba’s.

Make them 18+ sets in that case. The Naboo Balcony would look as a Diorama and would probably sell well as one. Honestly that’s what bugs me more than anything just how much they’re wasting these 18+ sets especially the diorama’s.

Here’s where I disagree on some of the prequel choices. Look the idea of a new swamp speeder is interesting IF it’s 327th but who was actually was asking for a swamp speeder remake ESPECIALLY if it ends up being Kashyyyk clones. Another example is the fighter tank remake last year. Look I bought the set and like the figures but who was actually asking for fighter tank remake especially with the purple clones which don’t exist in any movies,shows,or games. That set could’ve been a wheel bike chase remake with Cody and a 212th thrown in. With the AT-TE being used to give us the Captain Rex remake. Oh I was just thinking that tbh. A small 25 dollar set of the boat and dock with Anakin,R2,and Padme in her balcony dress would be super cool.

The neglect for AOTC by lego is just embarrassing and that’s why at this point we’re past a small play set for Geonosis Arena. Just think about this over the past 21 years we have gotten ONE Zam,ONE AOTC Padme ,TWO Dooku’s,ONE Kaminon. Not to mention that we’ve never had any sets based on the Naboo portion of the movie basically no sets based on Kamino,and only one based on Coruscant. Heck even for geonosis all we’ve gotten is Yoda vs Dooku set! Never gotten an Arena or Droid Factory. Still haven’t gotten a remake of Jango’s Slave One like it’s just ridiculous. TPM has also been neglected (No Theed sets or Boss Nass,and only two Padme variants over 24 years!) Lego has had an opportunity to make an arena for 21 years! And has just refused even so we’ve had multiple anniversaries and the 2013 round of sets. Keep in mind I don’t think it’s just AOTC/TPM that are neglected (Rebels,Bad Batch,ROTJ,Book of Boba and even TROS have been neglected to at least some degree as well)

Hey so I have a crazy idea what if instead of stupid mechs they made these 15 dollar sets partially molded/brick built geonosis arena animals. Each one could include one of the main 3 (Nexu could come with Padme,Acklay with Obi Wan,and Reek with Anakin.) you can’t tell me that kids wouldn’t buy those. (They could also expand it and have Dewback,Bantha,Boga,Taun Taun,Ronto)

So the Temple of Doom is still coming? Well that’s a knock in creditability against Brickclicker if true………..

Promobricks claimed that the “leaked” Sail Barge had a piece of count of 6,000! Yet there is ZERO chance that leaked picture of the sail barge came anywhere close to 6,000 pieces which is why I think that photo is just a picture of some prototype sail barge lego made at some point. Even with 2-3 Skiff’s and a Sarlacc Pit that leaked picture looks like 2,000 pieces tops (throw in a pit+2-3 skiffs and maybe it’s 3,500 pieces.) so that’s why I still think the sail barge is the most likely UCS set this year.

I agree that whatever this set is will likely have a lot of figures. Unless its a Super Star Destroyer (I think it’d be bad to release two UCS remakes the same year though and honestly that also is a knock against MBS Endor as well) considering 2013 UCS sets were the X-Wing and Ewok Village. Which is why I think this is something new like Jabba’s Sail Barge or Geonosis (guess it could be the Mon Cal Cruiser as well but I just don’t know why that would be 650 dollars and have an awful price pre piece)

I really don’t understand what happened like what’s the point of bringing back Indiana Jones sets if you’re only making sets from 2/5 movies? At that point you’re just better off making massive D2C’s IMO.

Oh I’m definitely not considering 2022 was the year to do it but late than never 🤷‍♂️

The Snow White cottage was definitely not finished considering the dwarfs didn’t look anything like them . A UCS Geonosis Arena doesn’t have to be JUST the Arena it could also include the caves,droid factory,CIS meeting room,Obi Wan’s prison cell,and even the control room with the Death Star plans.

The price per piece seems way too awful to be a Death Star,Endor,or vehicle (unless it’s a remake of the UCS Super Star Destroyer) I’m sticking with this D2C being either a MBS Geonosis Arena or more likely MBS/UCS Sail Barge.

The fact that no leaker has clarified if the set was cancelled months ago or not is very frustrating.

We need someone to get ahold of the instructions for the sets.

Any more updates on if the Temple of Doom is actually cancelled or Indy 5 sets?
