True but it feels like lego has gotten better about celebrating anniversaries (all the 18+ sets this year so far are connected to anniversaries)

I still think the Sail Barge is coming this year and that the picture that leaked was just a placeholder. It’s the 40th anniversary of ROTJ and while I wouldn’t be opposed to a new MBS/UCS Endor it’d be weird if both the 30th and 40th anniversaries had Ewok Villages as the anniversary set.

A true Boota Eve MBS type set for the 30th anniversary of TPM would be pretty cool tbh.

Here’s the difference though. Phase 2 Rex was a MAIN CHARACTER in TCW Season 7,and made big appearances on Bad Batch and even Tales of the Jedi! Lego literally made every other character who played a big part in the end of season 7 OUTSIDE Rex!

As pointed out by others it COULD include 327th Troopers and Bly.

The Swamp Speeder COULD be good if it includes Bly,and the 327th. That being said it’s pathetic and embarrassing that lego STILL hasn’t remade Phase 2 Rex even so it’s been 10 years+the fact he sells for 200+ dollars.

Times are changing just look at celebration last year.

I honestly do not understand why lego hates the geonosis arena. It’s different for Star Wars,it has lots of cool things you could,would shut up like all prequel fans due to it including like everyone from AOTC,and it’s never been made.

Buildable Chewbacca is a HORRIBLE idea ESPECIALLY for 200 dollars. (No way it sells well or looks good)

If we’re are really getting a MBS/UCS Sail Barge this year it’s possible this mech and that set will include a new ROTJ Boba Fett.

It’s been 14 years since the last Clone Wars Y-Wing (the Y-Wing should’ve came in 2020)

An OT Y-Wing would be enraging since Captain Rex’s Y-Wing has shown up in new media multiple times+the OG TCW is a LOT now,and most importantly P2 Captain Rex is a 200+ dollar figure in need of a remake.

The one that is “Long Overdue” is almost certainly a Mon-Cal Cruiser IMO (40th Anniversary of ROTJ+never been made)

A 200 dollar Book of Boba themed Mos Espa while random would be super cool and would likely give us some really good figures.

Going through sets we’ve gotten that are prequel movie based sets that would be random remakes for episode 1 I’ve got the following Gungan Patrol,Naboo Swamp,Flashspeeder,Watto’s Junkyard,and the Gungan Sub. Episode 2 Bounty Hunter Pursuit (people want this though),Hailfire Droid,Homing-Spider Droid. Episode 3 Wookie Attack,Grevious Wheel Bike,Swamp Speeder,Obi Wan’s Blue Interceptor or Anakin’s Green Interceptor. I really can’t think of anything else this stuff could be unless it’s an actual TCW remake of something random.

Honestly out of left field could be cool like if this is referring to something like a Mon Cal Cruiser or some weird downscaled SSD.
