  1. Saw these on Brickshelf the other day, gave me a great laugh Nice job! TT
  2. It is indeed very sad news. It's very schocking to realise Poland's top has been erased in one fatal accident. Nice work on the MOC, the flames look good and the black flag is a nice touch. What parts are those white pieces that form the column? Gaetano
  3. Hello, could someone add my army to the index? 45ème de ligne Thanks TT
  4. You can look at my Napoleonic army (only French for the moment) by clicking on the picture in my signature. TT
  5. Genious incorperation of the army soldier stands! I do like the all dark bley version better though. Great work! TT
  6. Hi everyone, I decided to get rid of some Little Armory and Brickforge items I had laying around. Up for sale are: LA: -6 battle droid blasters (can be used by minifigs, new battle droids and old style battle droids) BF: -4 dark gray "military" helmets -3 "black military helmets (these were painted by Brickforge in black on request as these didn't exist in black back then. It's a special paint which fused with the plastic itself, so you can't feel it's paint) -7 STG44/MP44 in dark gray If anyone would be interested I also have a custom STG44 (painted black, stock painted brown, modified handle and varnished) and a STG44 which shows a small bend mark on the barrel. You can contact me by PM although I'd prefer it if you send me FM on Flickr. Picture: Flickr Thanks Tanotrooper
  7. Hello everyone, it's been quite a while since I logged in on EB, but I'm going to make it up to you. Some of you may remember the brickfilm I made of the poem "demain, dès l'aube" by Victor Hugo (the thread can be found at the back of this forum I believe) Well, the same assignment was given for my French class this year: make something creative about a poem. Since this poem was in the list and I already had an idea for a remake, I began making a storyboard and designing the movie. The film features a lot of new MOCs from WWI, ranging from the mini airplanes to the German Feldkanone. This was also the first time I used my TTfigs in an animation, which had it pros and cons. I toyed with some visual ideas such as the sniper scope and the first person eye view, both constructed with bricks. In the end I must admit that the story in the original version was better told and perhaps contained more of the essence of the poem. But, this one gives the poem a new dimension by introducing a second narrator and gives a better view of WWI , something which was one of my primary goals. Also, the soundtrack was played completely on piano by myself which was fun to do but hard to record... (My first year of piano btw ) Enough talk, here is the movie: Hope you'll enjoy and I'd appreciate comments or constructive criticism TT SPOILER For those of you who can't really follow the story in French: The man goes to war and his wife and child stay at home. Eventually the child has died which causes the man to be off guard which gets him killed. A friend takes revenge and returns the belongings to the soldier's wife. The end
  8. Unbelievable! Such a courageous, honoust man who led us in the front lines and through all those battles... Only to be stuck a knife into his back! That's it, I'm not gonna stay in bed any longer! I don't want to end up like our beloved capitain... I suggest that we double our efforts to find those traitors and stick together at night so that those cowards can be caught in the act! I'll pass on those sausages... No offence my good monsieur but considering the circumstances I'd rather rely on my own food supplies. I think this is something we all should do, those deserters could kills us all by poisoning a common meal... Has anyone been able to find anything out during the night? Without any clues towards the deserters we are putting ourselves into a very vulnerable position as the days will progress... *salutes* Goodmorning capitain, I hope you can help us in the search for those traitors! Au revoir
  9. What's all this shouting about murderers and deserters? Is this what our believed regiment has turned into? *curses French words* Sacre bleu, I shouldn't even be up worrying about this. I'm still recovering from that shot in my leg from our last battle. As for me, I lay in bed all night, the medical troops can confirm that! They hardly do any good, I remember seeing them leave with frowned faces when they heard my leg didn't have to be amputated! Hmm... about the murderweapon, I haven't seen my bayonet belt since I was on the operating table... If one of you could look if it's still in the medical post we might solve this little riddle. *curses more French words* I should really lie down again or else the wound might burst again... Au revoir mes amis!
  10. Maybe not the most stickers, but still: 8375 - Ferrari F1 Pit Stop The fact you had to put stickers on the minifigs (front AND back) really surprised me, as I believe it hadn't been done in years. (dating back to first classic town, space and castle sets). A lot of small stickers too, like the Italian flag or the Vodaphone (not sure about the name) logo. TT
  11. The revolverl's chamber seems to have small deep lines running across, where the normal one doesn't and looks more bulkier... Indeed a lot of the parts seem to be especially modified for this line... Gaetano
  12. Bonjour Messieurs, Private Talón Rames ready to serve our fatherland in the 42nd! Excuse my for my tardiness, for I was sharpening my bayonet and lost track of time. At the age of 22, this is my first campaign, but I'll serve our Emperor and the Imperial army until I die. I had to leave my poor mother and sister behind, so I hope we won't waste any time and attack those dastard redcoats! Or those cowardly deserteurs... Here is my Carte-de-visite, the painter's skills are outstanding, non? Au revoir!
  13. *First time I saw the Greek hoplite* THIS. IS. LEGO! After years of begging, we finally got a greek Hoplite If the price would translate itself to € 2, I'll buy a whole box of series two to get a small troop together. Great work LEGO. Great work. Gaetano
  14. After being sick all day, this really lightens me up No words can express my gratefulness, I thank you from the bottom of my heart I've been meaning to get that black protocol droid for a while to use it for a MOC, and I'm so glad I'll finally have it. I don't own any of the other figures aswell, so they are very welcome! (especially the Ugha warrior!) Thanks again for your generosity, you truly are Santa Gaetano On a side note, those are a LOT of figures... I hope you didn't have to rob a bank for all of those?
  15. Great and funny MOC The name is hilarious and the pictures certainly speak for themselves That dark brown carrot in the back is just digusting... good job on that one TT
  16. I would like to sign up 'Tano
  17. The combi-pack has been avaible here in Belgium through Colruyt stores. (saw it in the catalogue this week) Yet, unless the speeder costs more than € 40, the pack isn't much of a discount... TT
  18. Excellent work, really funny and some great details! Love the weaponry TT
  19. Outstanding work, the colours match perfectly. I assume those are a lot of cheese slopes on te roof? TT
  20. Yes! Finally a Greek helmet! Looking forward to the sets TT
  21. This is outstanding work, the shape looks very sleek. Do you have any other pictures such as interior etc. ? TT
  22. Truly asthonishing stuff. The models look spot on and you used some great techniques. The only thing I might add is that the folded version of the V-19 is a tad to tall. TT
  23. Fantastic work, I love how you represented the "pet" mode of Perry Are the legs yellow? (they seem tan on the picture, but cheese slopes dont exist in tan) TT
  24. Those look like great prices, especially because they're minifigs. Some of those figs are quite rare Looking forward to knowing which we've got TT
  25. same here Nice work, I love the sun and the simple eyes and mouth. TT
