  1. LEGO, are you planning on using the "light flesh" or "light nougat" colour in other parts than minifig parts? Dark tan is a somewhat new colour, but can the smaller pieces be released in that colour too? Anyway, here is a list of small pieces that would be great in light flesh, dark tan, dark brown and all new colours: 1*1 tile with clip 1*1 plate 1*1 plate round 1*1 plate modified tooth Also, the "flesh" colour could be used in license lines for darker skinned people. (as this colour is still being used with DUPLO) TT
  2. try more than US price point and to think that the hq are in Europe... So, people who preordered it at 299 will get it at 299. People who ordered it before at 399 will also get it at 299? good How about the rest of the people who will have to pay the full price? And why do they keep talking about how great the set is instead of replying in those mails? LEGO's products are great, but at such a fast rate of new sets and high prices most of us won't be able to keep affording all of these sets, let aside getting multiples... TT
  3. A figure I still purchase when I see it cheap somewhere is this one, Baron Von Baron: 1) pit helmet for zulu wars etc. 2) white epaulettes for armies (pirates etc.) 3) great torso for armies (WWII etc. ) 4) hook hand (I must have 5 of them or so, but can never seem to find 2 in good condition ) same applies for this one: 1) pith helmet 2) great torso for maffia mocs etc TT
  4. first of all, I appreciate the work you guys do for the community, offering custom pieces. The "space marine" looks great, but I've only seen some pics and videos of halo, haven't played the games or anything. (the style reminds me of Arealights' work actually) Are the visors seperate parts? The Egyptian sword (Kopesh? can't scroll down here ) looks amazing. The Thracian helmet looks great, love the mask. The Gladius looks nice, perhaps just a tad to big (several types of course, but generally a very short sword). The scutum looks... nothing like the "scutum" Roman legionnaires used in the 1st-2nd Century AD. It doesn't feature the iron knot, and most of all: it isn't curved. That was the great thing about them, as they provided more cover and strength. This custom is a flat version of the scutum, and can of course be used for other purposes, but in my eyes doesn't do it as a scutum. The Attic helmet: I need to see a side and back shot in order to comment it accurately. The Roman Imperial Gallic/Itallic helmet: I'd have to see it in person. The cheek guards look very heavy and big, but the details look good... Seeing it in person or having various side and back pics will perhaps change my view on it. The pilum: I already mentioned it when I saw the prototype drawings... It's too big. The iron shaft is way too lang (almost as long as the wooden part?) Overall, I feel that some of your parts are a bit oversized, making them look heavy and big. (StG44, Attic helmet,...) I do appreciate your work, as this is a very small scal to work on. How smaller something gets, less details have to be added (like miniatures etc.) but with minifigs the same amount of detail is required, putting a hard pressure on you customers. TT
  5. This thread leads me to my question: can you order parts this way? (paying of course) I heard someobody talking about it already... (like Playmobil's replacement parts?) LEGO has always been very friendly and correct with me, and helped me with missing pieces very fast. TT
  6. Nice layout and collection It seems that one soldier is one of the lucky ones not to have caught jaundice , a disease common among the lego world... TT
  7. First, welcome to Eurobricks! I hope you have a nice time over here Yes the pictures are blurry, but it takes some time to take good pictures. What doesn't fit is that only one of the Germans checks the building... In the battle of Stalingrad every foot was checked for enemies, and they lived in constant fear of what would be behind the next window... Unless these are the Heer's finest and bravest troops, they wouldn't stand still. Otherwise, I believe this is one of the first times that a pic is taken of the Notzis fighting the Commies. TT
  8. Maintenance? I read that was the IG-series droid that tried to attack Boba Fett on his way to Cloud City, but was destroyed by him. His remains were thrown in that "maintenance" room. Great set again. I can't stop looking at it... TT
  9. German soldier: dark bley/light bley outfit. Any German officer. And any figure including the fedora in an other colour than reddish brown. TT
  10. this is a set I will *eventually* have to have. When I saw the DS I scenes I thought OK, but LEGO added the throne room, making it perfect for DS II too. This is my idea of an interior. That's it isn't it? It's made for the interior, not for the outside... That has got to be one of the first sets to do that. That's why there is no outer hull, because it can be used as DS I and II. All those figures... Marvelous. TT
  11. And she's a beauty! Very nice and sleek looking tank. TT
  12. "Voilà messieurs, les pyramides! Quarant siècles de l'histoire devant vous! Allez!" -Napoleon Bonaparte on the "Napoleon" short series Magnificent buildings indeed, your very lucky to visit them. Unbelievable they've been there for so many centuries... Gaetano
  13. interesting, as this works with items that I can finally obtain... Do you have any example of a PVA glue? Is it like normal Pattex (normal household glue) or rapid glue or something? Or the crappy white glue? Anyway, it looks smooth and worth a shot. TT
  14. CAPTION III henry: there comes a car! indy: all right, keep quiet and stick to the plan. We're aliens and we come to take over the world, ok? Marion: ok. But they (and especially Marion) gazed up in fear when they saw that Adolf Hitler himself was driving the car... *A.H. looks very cold at them* *car drives by* Henry: uhm boy Indy: yes dad Henry: I think someone else already used your plan... TT
  15. ENTRY ONE: German : Achtung, who arre zyou? Henry Jones: These aren't the droids you're looking for. *waves hand* German 2: Zees aren't zee droidz we are lookiing forr. *germans drive by* ENTRY TWO: *germans stop at Indy's gang* *german looks at them* German: Zaid's it! I'ave added with zis ot dessert and zee crazy people zat live in zit! I'm going zo Stalingrad! TT
  16. hmm... somebody missed photoshop lesson 101... TT
  17. Big Update: FROM WWII: having finally recieved my Indy sets, I could finally make this guy: DAK (Deutsches Afrika Korps) soldier with MP40 The enemy: ANZAC (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps) infantry: FROM NAPOLEONIC WARS: L'empereur de la France, Napoleon Bonaparte! French cuirassiers: normal trooper and bugler: Helmet design: reference: C & C are very appreciated as always TT
  18. Here is a scene from the Anglo-Zulu wars: Those Indy bags are great C & C are welcome Tano
  19. Hello fellow EB'ers and friends. Do to the exames coming up, and some projects that need to be finished, I will pause the Roman Mafia Game until somewhere in the middle-end of June. I'm sorry for this, but the way the last day has went isn't very amusing to the players either. I'll open the day VI thread when the time has come. Tanotrooper
  20. Hungy hungry hippos! Love the hippo design though, as well as the feet of the birds. I really need that dark tan pith helmet for soms MOCs... TT
  21. ***** After Hinckley appeared at court, he was sentenced to be a gladiator... The night fell in Rome, after a very long hot day... ***** NIGHT V begins! Send me your night actions by PM etc. Sorry for the mess, I had it very busy the last days... TT
  22. I love the figures, they are useful. I thought Galidor was some weird creation of LEGO instead of a tv show... But of course Indiana Jones for example has a backbone, because it uses German and Soviet soldiers, and some sort of adventurers theme. This is like it, but LEGO Racers already exists... Will the parents pay more money for it if they could buy a smaller car from the racers line? TT
  23. Long live mother Russia Really, that head is perfect for Stalin. Great figures! TT
  24. ***** NIGHT IV As at night, a celebration for Gaius Tanus Domus was held, all were visible and nobody was killed. All went to sleep. ***** DAY V The people woke up, realising they had to crucify a certain person today... ***** Roman Mafia Game List of Players: 1)Goggleson 2)Wouwie13 3)Lt. Veers 4)Hinckley 5)Trexxen 6)Ricecracker 7)Legolyons 8)Username_Taken 9)Dragonator 10)Iamded 11)Imperialscouts 12)Batbrick 13)Lukeiamyourfather 14)Casewindu 15)Jipay To get condemned, a player needs to get 8 votes. Anyone who is dead, can't speak anymore. Salve! TT
  25. and an episode of "war at home" , the dad tries to connect with his son (TRIES) and says "you still play with LEGO?" after that he says "That's OK, LEGOs are cool..." and they played with knights and castles... Hmm... This really shows us how addicted we are TT
