  1. The longevity of the sticker adhesion depends largely on the storage conditions and the number of initial reattachements of the sticker. I have stickers from the 90s and early 2000s which are still savely attached. Some curved pieces do show peeling however. You should avoid high temperatures (or rather high changes in temperatures) like they occur when storing your Lego in boxes in the attic or garages. The combination of high humidity combined with higher temperatures leads also to degradation of the adhesive.
  2. It is the regular door in dark brown (which only came in the Stranger Things set in that color previously)
  3. The headphones belong to Parker (see her hair piece for season 2, they are on her head in teal)
  4. The Astronomy Tower set depicts multiple scenes and the Slug Club is only one of them. Draco is wearing is the black suit only in a few scenes in HBP. The slytherin torso is much more useful. Other possibility is that the Slytherin robe is from the cmf (Ron/Crabbe with Polyjuice) or it could also be from Diagon Alley, although the leak would be a bit early
  5. They could still release the hare mould in brown in a city subtheme for example (along with the stag) like the tan owl. Since the seem to have a thing going with National Geographic for the Summer City Diver theme maybe they will create a wildlife subtheme next year. And speaking of the size of the hare. I think it's appropriately sized. It should be bigger than a bunny and a patronus is supposed to be a magical protector. I wouldn't want to see a cute little bunny fighting against an army of dementors^^
  6. I also finished some renders just now for my dark red version (all pieces are existing for this mod): I also tried out a Dark Brown, Black and Dark Blueish Grey Version (still a WIP). This will use silver accents and a grey figure in the front. When fnished it should look somewhat like the Black Pearl (which I sadly do not own):
  7. Pearl Gold or Flat Silver
  8. I plan on changing the yellow railings to dark red (already checked, the pieces or some substitutes are existing pieces) and the yellow figure to gold.
  9. Finally found the time to create this purist version of Sauron. Still sad that we never got an actual Lego figure of him but I think the Reinhardt helmet is the closest official Lego part. I know some already used it for minifig versions but I wanted my Sauron MOC to be the correct canonical size in reference to other minifigures. He's 9-10 feet tall in the movies, so roughly twice the size of a normal minifig. A benefit of the added size meant that i could add additional articulation and poseability. I will update this post with a few how-to-build shots in the next few days. The cloak work is layered and uses 5 Batman capes for example.
  10. Since you seem to have it all figured out, why don't you just set up your own company and start producing your great ideas? Instead of wasting hours online complaining, you could have already made big dollars with these sets. So please use your skills and enthusiasm in a productive way!
  11. Could someone take a picture of the Viking helmet (without a beard) from the side, please?
  12. I think Xenophilius is much more likely than Pettigrew or Mundungus
  13. The original Dragon Ball (not Dragon Ball Z) is inspired by Journey to the West. Son Goku is obviously Sun Wukong (Monkey Kid) and Krillin is modelled after the bald monk (Tang Sanzang or sometimes called Tripitaka). Goku's staff and cloud are also straight out of the monkey king story. The characteristics of Zhū Bājiè/Pigsy are shared between Oolong (pig) and Roshi (his "character"). Some of the enemies are literal demons (like Pilaf and Picollo) and the quest for the Dragon Balls is equal to the quest for the scrolls in Journey to the West. Other characters are for example the Ox-Demon-King (Japanese: Gyūmaō): The inspiration for the Ox King We already saw pictures of the Ox-demon and will get him as a figure
  14. They are just wearing fantasy armor. Not everything wearing armor deserves to be called a knight. Samurai do also wear armour and you wouldn't call it weird, as do some assasins and mages in other fantasy lore. These new armour pieces are more in the D&D/Warcraft style and not futuristic like Nexo Knights. Nexo Knights resembled the armour style of space themes like Insectoids (for example 2964 Space Spider). Armour is not exclusive to themes like Nexo Knights
  15. Sadly it's only in black and white. The leakers have potato cameras... or colour costs extra.
  16. Temper your expectations a bit. They are not native English speakers and a lot can get lost in translation. For some people black and green "ghoulish" skeletons fall in the "goblin" category and they only had a fast look over the prototype sets
  17. Sci-fi pirates is a cool idea, but Star Wars is kind of blocking the space/sci-fi genre not Ninjago. I hope that Star Wars tanks even more in the future (or gets significantly less shelf space) so that it opens room for other space themes again. The prices with the Disney license are becoming ridiculous. They will milk it till the last fan looses interest
  18. The new wave looks promising. They can go at least a few years. Also young children don't own any of the previous sets, so for a young mind it is still new and fresh. The problem is your skewed vision as an "older" customer. That is the curse of aging. Nothing is new, just a slight variation of previous ideas and concepts. I mean the wheel got quite repetitive after a few thousand years... Hollywood is making the same movies for 30 years now. Fast and Furious 25 is still gonna a be a big hit with the Rock as an old man
  19. It's tan or an overexposed dark tan
  20. 8 new moulds so far. In the first Harry Potter cmf we did get 12 (not counting the wands). So there is room for some more interesting pieces.
  21. I see your point but for me as a castle-/fantasy-MOCer the hair piece with the ears is much more useful like this. Thy can still give him a mould down the line, because by the looks of it this theme could stay a long time.
  22. They wouldn't let sellers like the one in the LUG forum order already if it was pushed till next year.
  23. I think Hermione will be the winter version from Deathly Hallows or the cat version from Chamber. Firenze is likely because of the new mould from the centaur set. Cho in the Yule Ball outfit is unlikely because they could put her in the calendar. Kreacher is far more likely with the diadem Since they are revisiting Chamber with Myrtle, Dumbledore and Sprout, maybe Ron is in Slytherin Robes as Crabbe
  24. It's the book "Advanced Potion Making" from HBP
  25. Maybe it's an early mock-up and not the final design. Definitely doesn't compare to the normal packaging design we usually get in cmf series
