10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Metanoios replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Yeah but in the picture below they look like prints. It could be that the decals are prototypes in some product shots (like the one from Brickset) and other photos (like the one I linked) were taken later once all prints and parts were actually produced- 2,976 replies

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

The Viking helmet from CMF series 20 appears as a recolour in gun metal grey in the upcoming Sanctum Sanctorum set (can be seen in the promo images on the upper most floor as one of the decorations of various magical artifacts). The Lion Knight's castle also features a new 1x4x3 arch piece in LBG and finally dark green leaf pieces -

The backside of the GWP box (pic can also be found online) shows that there are pin connections in the usual place and heightwise the door frame pieces fit perfectly into the 2021 modular castle system on both floors. If you stack more than one GWP staircase on top of each other you would have to remove the small sand green roof sections and the tan inverted slopes from the GWP staircase build but it is possible with only small adjustments -

It is all one piece but still technically can be attached on to a minifig head. It's a dualmolded "bearded helmet" with a printed on face and underneath is a unprinted regular (faceless) minidoll head. Here is a review of the set which shows the piece: -
I remember a different discussion a few months ago about the hitherto exclusive Diagon Alley Harry appearing in the Advent calendar, which had a lot of people on here complaining about an "exclusive" figure coming in a now cheaper set and that it was diminishing its value. Now we get Percy for the first time ever in a "expensive" book and suddenly some of the same people are arguing that a new minifigure should be cheap and commonly available. I can't help but get a feeling by reading these discussions, that no matter what Lego does, someone will go out of their way to compain about it (even contradicting their previous train of thought by doing so). This is not meant to be derogatory - just a slight nudge, that might hopefully help remind some to see the positive in things rather than always search the negative point of view. It's nice that we get new characters like Pomfrey and Percy next year with new moulds and all new prints. Just my two cents on this matter.

The Hogwarts Moments sets are also more geared towards young girls in the style of the Polly Pocket boxes, where you have a container (in this case a book) which transforms into the playset and the accesories are all inside. I highly doubt that you played with those as a boy in the 90s or 2000s. My sister had tons of those

Lupin is probably part of the summer wave
-
Yes it seems to be a customisation set with different legs and torsos. There are pieces to build different scenes like the sorting hat ceremony which you then can reenact with your own character.

Hogwarts extension consisting of three 8x8 stud modules (each contains one bed)

Looks like we're getting an extended Hospital wing. And more books

I have a complete collection. Only bought the sets in the wave once and 4 Hermione polybags to get the last remaining 4 cards I was missing. The back of the polybag has a see-through window so you can see exactly which card is in it if you tilt it slightly from side to side till the card is visible. Got silver Dumbledore, Salazar Slytherin, Godric Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff that way. In the sets I did get some duplicates like 3 Snapes... Why was the polybag a "dud" for you? Do they not sell it in Switzerland? Also I can confirm that all 16 cards are distributed in the polybags. The store I bought these from had a freshly delivered box full of them and while I was searching for the ones I was missing, I saw all 16 characters.

Because of the mispelling of "villains" on the packaging? Hasbro and Marvel had multiple mispellings on official merch. Here are a few of the bigger examples: - Infinity war blu ray had a mispelling of "through" as though on the back of the box https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/avengers-infinity-war-blu-ray-spelling-error-marvel/ - Spiderman Halloween Costume also had an error - Hasbro has had dozens of mistakes on their packaging (even for big licenses like Star Wars or Marvel) Example: They misspelt Skywalker as Skywalkwer on the same box twice https://www.jeditemplearchives.com/2019-11-02-hasbro-misspells-luke-skywalker-twice-on-the-tbs6-p3-luke-skywalker-yavin-ceremony-100-figure/ And the guy on twitter from MBDirect, who claims its fake, because he called some Hasbro contacts could also be doing damage control for Hasbro or Target, because they would be in deep trouble if that figure was on the shelfs 4 months too early. Multiple photos existing in different locations and angles, proves at least that it is a physical product and not just a photoshop. Now with a lot of time and resources you could create an almost perfect action figure and print a real looking packaging, but that takes a lot of dedication for a "fake". Just because a word is misspelt is not prove that it is fake. Quite the opposite for Hasbro or Lego in that matter, actually. -

Let's say it sells comparably well as the Ninjago magazine, which also has a monthly issue. Then it is only logical from a business perspective to increase the frequency of releases. Marvel is expanding its franchise whereas DC is shrinking. Just look at the number of minifigs, that they can choose from the Marvel and Spiderman waves right now to include in the magazine and we will get even more at the end of the year with No way home and the Eternals. Jurassic World (the 9th Owen gets boring really fast) and Batman (there were only a handful new DC figs in the sets this and last year and some of them like Batgirl were already in the magazine) can't support a monthly release right now, but Lego Marvel certainly could. The number of sets for Lego Marvel this year (34) exceeds the total number of Ninjago sets (26) and Batman/DC has barely 10 (including the unreleased Batman movie sets) -

The Ninjago Collector is not an official source and due to him being busy with filming Lego Masters the last few weeks he probably made a mistake and didn't check the changed release schedule... I linked the official publisher's website and the date that is stated there. Promobricks is also saying September 23rd by the way (https://www.promobricks.de/lego-avengers-magazin-7/128814/ not that it is actually needed as a source because who would know it better than the publisher of the magazine in the first place). -

At least for Germany, the official Blue Ocean website (which is the company printing and publishing the magazines) says, the next issue with Iron Spider will already be sold starting September 23rd. If you live in Germany, it will already be available starting September 23rd https://www.blue-ocean.de/lego-marvel-avengers/produkt/detail/willkommen-bei-den-avengers -
I think it is far more likely that there won't be a GWP at all

Nice MOC! Does it still unfold like Bowser Airship to show the interior?

The "real" thing would be an actual snow owl, not a plushy teddy bear for 200 £. Also just because you don't like it, doesn't mean there won't be a lot of HP fans who will like it. This is a set that appeals to people that don't just want tiny toy doll houses on display and this opens the line and revenue up for another kind of collector
-
There were 2 lifestyle pics going around in the initial IG story leaks. Since falconfan said that they were not safe they disappeared rather quickly
-
Also the set includes the pieces for the scarf in each of the 4 house colours (not just the Gryffindor one which is pictured on the front)
-
Certain objects like the frog, wand and the potion bottles are loose/detachable. Hedwig is attached by her talons/feet on a technic core construction, which is pretty well hidden inside the book pile. You can see a hint of the technic construction on one of the pics that shows the set from behind.
-
Looks like the letter pages and anniversary plaque are all prints. The potion bottle labels will probably be only stickers though.
-
Yeah but the old Hedwig is a sad excuse now compared to this one. This acutally looks like her. The head on the old one was really bad for a snow owl and all it had really going for it were the flapping wings.
