The baseplates in DA are dark blueish grey

Flourish and Blotts is accurate to the first film however that builidng has a second floor as you can see in the book Magical Places I will modify my version and add that second floor. WWW lacks also another floor. Increasing the height of F&B and WWW will make it more movie accurate and also take the focus off the pink cube (which then will not be the highest builidng in the street anymore)

I just noticed the ninjago dragon hilts in black for some statue details on the facade of Flourish and Blotts

There are quite a few useful recolours which is nice: dark tan 1x1 stud with hole, trans red glass from the new cmf and some of the window pieces look like prints. I just wish Lego would stop releasing renders and go back to real photographs. These renders look worse than the real deal.

No it is the old one. These are rendered pictures and have a slightly different saturation than real picutres. Compare them side by side and you will see it is reddish brown. Ollivander has a dark red torso now though

No actually I am worried now that Lockhart only has one expression because they never show an alternate face print in all these pictures (but Florean gets at least a double sided face print). And they moved the side burns only slightly out on Ollivander but for whatever reason didn't fix it all the way

I think the important part to focus on isn't the "new" but the "you'll find exclusively in the new set". That would be imo Florean, Daily Prophet Photographer, Fred and George (in WWW outfit). These four will never appear in another set (at least for the next ten years) again. I think the likelyhood of Lucius appearing in another set next year is high. Lockhart would also fit in a Chamber of Secrets set or another Hogwarts extension, so I don't think he will remain exclusive to Diagon Alley either. Lucius and Lockhart have appeared before, so they are not new characters either.

Where did you see that higher res image?

I don't remember them leaking anything of relevance for years. Others like promobricks, brickset usually have valid Information months in advance but the Brickshow hasn't really been breaking Lego news since their Youtube channel take over and the time a few years ago when they lost their channel because of watermarked images

Yeah as I mentioned in an earlier post I don't completely trust the source since the brickshow could just use this false rumour to promote their insta. Would be best if someone like azani or falconfan could validate this rumour

You are right. Time crunch made it feel like it was June. But even then it would have been produced in June/beginning of July which is still early

Sorry didn't see any discussion about it on this page. The Harry leaked over two months ago. Why would they produce a torso in May for a GWP in October or possibly even later when they have trouble with their normal production capacity right now? Doesn't seem to make sense to produce this far in advance and then have it lie around for a few months

There's a rumour going around instagram that the GWP from September 1st till the 15th is the Hagrid and Buckbeak Brickhead Set (>100$ purchase) and the already released Harry and Hedwig Polybag (>40$) If true this would mean the PS Harry torso is still not accounted for. Either that GWP is released at a later date or there is a set that we haven't heard about. The source on instagram is thebrickshow. I would wait till another more reputable leaker/source corroborates this

Probably fell asleep. Imagine having all day to compile one post each workday and even then not noticing that you're missing two of your 16 minifigures. Or having Neville ghosting himself on an official promo pic and we know they finished this artwork months ago (leak of the CMF packaging). A simple twitter bot could do a better job announcing news and interacting with the community then the poor guy/woman who only gets to push one button once a day

Had an idea this morning to modify the QQS roof into a front-facing gable roof and change the colour scheme into medium nougat with dark orange and dark red. That way the pink won't be such an eye-sore and it would also break the monotony of the large flat roof.

At least 200 of those are discussions about microscale DA...

It is dark red. Could you send me the colour change pic as well, please? I think medium nougat would also work well. They already use some technic bricks in Medium Nougat and dark orange for the upper floor. Bricks in red are too flashy in my opinion. Sand Red would have worked best

I really hope the QQS windows are not clear stickers and that they printed at least a few new pieces

You can make one yourself pretty easily with the Ninjago snake mould (3rd pic in the instagram thread)
