  1. Great, only problem is that you need 3 separate channels to drive a vehicle.
  2. So, what is up with this new Mindstorms NXT
  3. Silicon oil is great because it does not leave any residue after long periods of being applied.
  4. That looks cool and heavy, but it might be a little too big for the wheelbase of the crawler.
  5. I like how you incorporated the BB and IR receiver to represent the turret.
  6. The quad bike would be cool, but would be hard to make in this scale.
  7. From the title i thought it was gonna be in real snow
  8. Chances of exploding batteries are next to nothing, especially if you use your modified BB with normal motors and recievers. It will just drain your batteries faster, that's it.
  9. Beautiful, and very smooth
  10. Cool, this was my first Lego set before my dark ages, i wish i would still have all the pieces to build it.
  11. All this talk and no pictures, we need pictures!
  12. Looks nice, especially the black & white theme.
  13. Great set, i wish Lego would make engines as a set these days.
  14. Beautiful, but these mosaics are very expensive if you look at the costs of all bricks.
  15. you are kidding right? almost all construction vehicles use two stage legs
  16. If you use rechargable batteries they will last very long and another thing that is important for you is that rechargables don't loose any power until they are completely empty, that means that there will not be any performance loss during several runs.
  17. It is pretty obvious since Lamborghini Aventador is known for the suspension that you showed in the first post.
  18. Never use any oil intended for metal parts, silicon oil is the only acceptable lubricant for lego gears.
  19. Does anybody have a picture of leftover parts from this b-model. I have a dilemma on which model to build A or B since both are so great
  20. I just bought the 9395 tow truck and I noticed that there aren't any reviews here on EB. Is this set really that bad that it doesnt't deserve any attention? I am thinking about building the B-model first, but there are no videos or any information about it. I would like to know how many bricks are left-over when building the B-model and also about the functions.
  21. If you are just looking at both models without considering the price, then the 8421 wins hands down, it is probably the best lego technic set ever made. Although from an economical point of view it is better to get the 8258 before the price goes up.
  22. The 8043 should be in shops for another year, so there is no hurry. I still see the 8258 Crane truck in some shops even though it is one year older than the 8043.
  23. That is why there is a red stick on the remote for this switching function, so you know not to hold the stick for more than a second. I think you would have to push the motor for quite a few seconds before it started to get warmer.
