You can look at Blueprint for creating better instructions than LDD one. Thanks for sharing the file ! EDIT: One downside, as I feared, and would explain LEGO decision, is the price it would cost to built it myself. First estimate is not pretty lol. One good side, it is a construction side! It will be built steps by steps, one story at the time !

For MacOS, you can use this .command file. It should do the same thing as the windows .bat file. You still need Java JDK installed for it to work : http://dl.bbqsoftwares.com/LDD/blueprint_MacOS.command.zip Or you can use this nice (but heavy) MacOS App Bundle that contain the Java JRE : http://dl.bbqsoftwares.com/LDD/Blueprint0022.dmg

[Software] Bricks & Pieces helper
Malou replied to Malou's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I do have the code to fill a cart on their website, but modern browsers don't allow me to execute javascript on another website for security reason (which is normal). So yeah, you have to pick them up one by one when you actually want to buy the bricks. If you're very with browsers console, I could give out the way to do it manually, but if you never used the console, might be easier to do it brick by brick. I usually use the "new bricks" method. The software give out those price too. I would only use replacement for actual replacement of sets I bought. -

LDD problem in OSX El Capitan
Malou replied to colmoore's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Yup! It does work with the new Seria update! -
Yes indeed, the build is quite large because the whole Java Binaries are included. This is done so it will work, whatever version of java you have installed (if any). But otherwise, it is indeed platform independent and the Windows version will work on Mac with the proper paths and java version. If you're interested, I could probably make a bundle without Java next version.

Indeed, the default paths in scene.sc doesn't work on MacOS. Told Bublible, but he didn't changed it. If you download the mac app from his website, the path is fixed in the bundle I created.

LDD problem in OSX El Capitan
Malou replied to colmoore's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
FYI, I installed on my MacBook Air the public beta of MacOs Sierra and LDD doesn't start anymore. Crash before the icon can appear in the dock. Hoping it will be fixed before Sierra is released to the public -

Didn't think about this. MIT. I added the license file on GitHub.
