General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Gregorovich replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
@Peanuts: no, I don't think it is a new compass piece. It seems to just be a flat 1x1 tile with printing. But that's still good, though. EDIT: No! It appears the images have been taken down! I hope someone saved those pictures, because I didn't. -

Thank you so, so much for these pictures! Elizabeth looks great, and all the sets look amazing! It seems the globe is a new piece, and the Isla de la Muerta has a lot more gold. Also, new mermaid tails and new hairpieces, like Angelica's and balckbeard's! The pictures could be bigger, but they're still excellent. Once again, thanks a million for these! -
This is such a beautiful MOC. The style of the building is great, and all the surrounding environment is lovely. Good work!

Really nice MOC, Novastar! I love the glass entrance, the plants and the counter. It looks excellent. Good work!

That's a very interesting find. I think the mystery figure looks like prof. Sprout, but I don't see which set she'd fit into. I mean, she's never been in the forbidden forest or the knight bus, and she didn't play a very big part in the battle of Hogwarts. Maybe a new set we've not heard of? I don't think so, but it would be great if it was. Also, what are the 2010 sets doing at the 2011 toy fair?

WINTER BREAK ENTRY: Ministry of Magic: Magic is Might
Gregorovich replied to Sirius Black's topic in LEGO Licensed
My goodness, that's a brilliant MOC! It's so full of action and fighting, it looks amazing! I love all the "muggles" and the flying dementors. You've captured the scene from the film perfectly. Well done! I hope you do well in the contest! -
I don't mean it's embarrassing here! I mean in real life. I mean, I don't know any other 20 year olds that like it, so it is quite embarrassing. But that's exactly why I love Eurobricks so much; it let's me know I'm not the only one out there!

Whoa! That is a spectacular piece of work, Dix! I love the staircase and the chandelier, and the windows and roof look brilliant. I'm blank away by how tall that roof is! Well done, Dix, and the best of luck to you!

This looks amazing, Jim Butcher! The brickwork is fantastic, and the cave underneath is stunning. I can't wait to see it finished. Good luck!

I wouldn't really say I collect. I don't actually buy much Lego anymore. So I'd say I play with it. I know it's childish, but I still like to crash the cars, and whoosh the spaceships . It's quite embarrassing, but I love it!

Lovely MOC. I love all the details like the bed, wooden bath and the staircase/trapdoor to the cellar. It looks excellent. Well done!

WINTER BREAK ENTRY: Ministry of Magic: Magic is Might

This is looking great so far! You chose a very difficult location, and you pulled it off excellently. I can't wait to see it finished. Good luck! -
It's a very simple design, but it looks so good! The shape of the roof is very nice, and the inside is good, too. I like the neat rows of flowers. Well done!
-
Wow, that is so cool! I love the cupboard with handcuffs and how the rooms slide out. Well done!
-
Yet another beautiful creation! The walls and the plants are stunning, and everything else is fantastic too. Well done!
-
Well, my favourite theme is either Harry Potter or Indiana Jones. But if you mean the most popular/successful theme, I'd have to go with Star Wars. I do like Star Wars, but it's not one of my favourites.

Excellent creation! It looks as though it has great playability, and it's full of nice little details. I especially like the beds. Well done! I hope you do well in the competition!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion
Gregorovich replied to eiker86's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks so much for the picture! What catalogue's it from? Anyway, the Cleopatra fig looks amazing. I also love that pie, and the cavewoman's pink hairpiece! Although I love both the females, I hope they're not the only two. I dont like the dwarf at all. He's just like the ones from the castle theme. I like the Royal Guard, his hat's great. Godzilla looks very nice, too. Also, is this really going to be the last series? I heard it somewhere, and I'm worried that it may be true. -
Okay, I was wrong. I don't know where I got David Tennant from, but I definitely heard it was Anne Hathaway and Kristen Bell playing the other two. I guess I was wrong though...

This won't happen. At least not next year anyway. Remember, The Battle of Hogwarts is 1 set, and not even a very big one. I'd like it if your idea was made a reality, but it won't.

Lovely building, Cornelius Murdoch! The spiral staircase is especially beautiful, but everything looks fantastic too. I can't wait to see it finished. Good luck!
