It's really annoying how almost every other theme got to see their sets at the Nuremburg toy fair except Harry Potter . We've not even seen prelims yet! How long do we have to wait to see some pictures ?

The news reporter from the new "Alien Conquest" theme has glasses and lipstick, which I'm happy about. -

I don't know if you're right, but I really hope you are. I'd be really disappointed if that was her finished, because I would like to see that hairpiece in a new colour. Same goes for the zookeeper - I want to see her with that hairpiece in either black, light yellow or tan. -
These look amazing! All the spaceships are excellent, especially the mothership that spins. All the minifigures look amazing, especially the aliens with their brains sticking out and the female reporter with glasses. All the new human faces are wonderful too. Thanks for the pictures!

Thank you, Lego-Freak, for sharing these excellent photos! I love the mill, as it has so many civilians and animals. The carriage is a lot better than the fantasy era one, and the other two sets are great too.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion

Series 5 look amazing! The teacher's hat, the zookeeper's monkey, the cavegirl's hair, Cleopatra's dress... The only things I'm a bit disappointed about is that the zookeeper's hair isn't a new colour, like the tennis player's or the surfer girl's, and neither is the dancer's. And I don't understand why the bags are blue, because so were series 2's. Anyway, overall, they look excellent. Thanks for the video! -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
Gregorovich replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Today when I went to Argos they had a new box of series 3, and I managed to get an elf and a racecar driver. When I first saw the elf in the pictures, I didn't like him all that much. But now that I've got him, I've become a really big fan of him! He is such a detailed figure, his hair, torso and shield are lovely. The only problem is that his hair can only really be used as an elf. The racecar driver is a great fig, too. His face is useful (I think I'll use it on my sigfig), and his hairpiece is excellent. So now that I've got 7 figs, here's my list of favourites (favourite first): Hula Dancer, Tennis Player, Snowboarder, Gorrilla, Elf, Sumo Wrestler, Racecar Driver, Samurai, Rapper, Alien, Fisherman, Baseball Player, Cyborg, Mummy, Native American Chief, Pilot. So the next 2 I want to get are the Samurai and the Rapper. -
I'm not much of a star wars fan, but these figures look amazing! I love all the new head and hair pieces. It's great to finally see a flesh Padme, but her face looks a lot like Hermione Granger's. Quinlan Vos looks excellent, but I think he should be light flesh. Captain Panaka's hat is fantastic, and Ki-Adi-Mundi looks spectacular. Also, doesn't the MF come with more figures? I'm sure it came with Leia. If it does, does anyone know if she has changed at all since the last one?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion

I so hope these are the actual figures! If they are, it's possible we could get 6 female figures (Cleopatra, cavewoman, woman with suitcase, female zookeeper, mystery blue fig, mystery red fig), but I doubt the red and blue mystery figures are females. The other figures all sound excellent! I think the female with suitcase would be either a flight attendant or a buisness woman. I'd like either, as it would mean a new female suit! Thanks for the information! -
Thanks for all the compliments everyone. I've now uploaded a new MOC (there's a link to it in my signature), and all the pictures are the right way around! Please take a look at it and tell me what you think!

Favorite Adventure Subtheme
Gregorovich replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I voted for the Indian Orient Expedition, even though I never got any of the sets. I love all the Adventurer subthemes, except Dino Island (I don't know why, I just never really liked it). Adventurers is my favourite theme, and I really hope they make more subthemes other than PQ. -
Harry Potter Winter Break Contest Voting Thread
Gregorovich replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
I skimmed briefly through the first post, and because you only had 3 votes for the Original Wizard voting thread, I thought this one was the same. Sorry! -
Has it already started? I didn't know. Anyway, I haven't heard anything yet, but I look forward to!

Thanks very much! The pink tap piece is actually supposed to be a soap pump, but I suppose it didnt really work . The basin isn't just a brick, it's the cooking pot piece. A water-tank and solar panels would be useful, but I'm trying to keep the 'countryside' feel of it, and a solar panel would make it too modern, so I don't think I'll make them. And no, there isn't anywhere to cook food inside, but there could be an imaginary fire or BBQ. Anyway, thanks for the compliments!

Here's an MOC of a little country cottage. Sorry for the poor quality photos, but at least they're the right way around this time! Hope you like it! It's a small cottage in an isolated location. It has a living area, a bedroom and a rooftop garden. Outside there is a fire for cooking, And a barrel to collect rainwater. The interior. The living area has an armchair, a flower, a chest for the owners belongings and a basin of water with soap and towels (it's a very, very isolated location, so it has no running water). The bedroom has a bed, a cup of water, an extra blanket and a chamberpot (because there's no running water, they don't have a proper toilet). The rooftop garden has plenty of flowers, a deck chair, a table and a drink. Hope you liked it. C&C welcome as usual!

If they are all suitable for children, then I'd say any could be a new theme. Personally, I'd like to see the mythical Scotland one, National Treasure, one of the western films and the Clash of the Titans. Although, are you sure there's going to be a Clash of the Titans? Wasn't there one made in 2010?

1 vote = Dix 1 vote = Oky Wan Kenobi 1 vote = Cutlass Iz Sorry to everyone I didn't vote for (36 entries and only 3 votes!?), but these were my favourite 3. Almost all the entries were absolutely stunning. Everyone who entered should be extremely proud of themselves even if they don't win! -
1 point = KciR's Brom Kronos because I think the character is very good and the vignette is fantastic. 1 point = Skalldyr's Russki Westnik because the character is very interesting and I think it's so cool how you made the broom "hover". 1 point = Tazmaniac's Jade Rip-Snorter because the character is very original and the vignette is very nice. Sorry to everyone I didn't vote for. All the entries were excellent, but I just think that these 3 are particularly good!

Where did you see the mermaid faces? I can't find them in any of the photos, except blurry ones on the box. I'm desperate to see them! -
Thanks so much everyone for the nice comments, I really appreciate them. I'm sorry about the pictures, I've tried to fix them but I can't find them on my computer.

Thanks so much to whoever found those new HR pictures! I wasn't interested in the Captain's Cabin or the London Escape sets when I saw the preliminary pics, but now I love them! All the new parts and figures look amazing. The new mermaid tails are very nice, too.
