  1. Thanks Follows Closely for this new information! May I ask what the fishtank looked like? And what the interiors of both buildings were like? I'm surprised about getting a new mould, I don't think we've got any in the other modulars. Just out of curiosity, did you see the set in an image or for real? And would it be possible to go back and get some pictures? I know you said you're there for business, so I'd understand if you couldn't. Thanks again for the info!
  2. I can't wait for these to appear in the UK! I'm really jealous of all of you in North America getting them before everyone else, and I don't think this is the first time you've got a series earlier than the rest of the world.
  3. Thanks! I can't find it on the "products" page, and there's no links to it anywhere else on the site. I wonder why it's not there?
  4. I agree! This has a great story to it, and because I'm actually part of it, I feel nervous about being killed by the Mafia. I'm always checking to see if anyone's posted anything new, incase it involves something important. I just can't wait for tomorrow's part of the story!
  5. I don't mean to be a nuisance, but doesn't all this discussion of the plot belong in the "Culture&Multimedia" forum? Has the PotC minisite on LEGO.com disappeared? I can't find it...
  6. Thanks for the information, Grogall. I think it will be interesting to get two buildings in a set. I wonder whether it means small figures as in brickbuilt figures, microfigures or just minifigures translated into a different term. And was there a reason you made the word "shop" red? Can't wait to see the images!
  7. Thanks for the pictures! I like Narcissa's reverse face, but the hair in this picture doesn't have enough blonde in it. The rest of the set looks great. I can't see any big changes in any of the sets, but the new globe printing is really nice, and I think that Neville's new face looks more accurate, as the buck-teeth are quite an important part of his image. I think that the reason Harry's wearing a uniform in the Knight Bus is because it's preliminary. Thanks again for the pictures!
  8. A film named "Another Year". I'd seen some of the cast members do great performances in other films, and so I expected this to be no exception. However, I was very wrong. It was the most draining film that I've ever had the displeasure of viewing. It just seemed to drag on and on... If you like the film, please don't be offended. We just have different tastes, I suppose.
  9. Well I think that this is the first ever Mafia School game, so it's possible we may get a tag for passing one game. The Reviewers Academy get tags (the gold, silver or bronze "R" medals), so I think it's possible we'll get a medal depending on how well we've played.
  10. That's excellent news. When I heard Belville mentioned, I worried for a moment.
  11. Well done to all those who entered! 3)Fisherman by cimddwc = 1 point 10) Gorrilla Suit Guy by Plissken = 1 point 13) Fisherman by Superbagel = 1 point
  12. All the entries were amazing. Well done to everyone who entered! 1) Nurse, Lifeguard and Fisherman entry (by Danchurch) 10) Robot, Spartan and Space Alien entry (by Dreamweb) 17) Diver, Surfer and Fisherman entry (by Cecilie) Good luck everyone!
  13. Excellent contest! I was going to vote anyway, but this is just great. Thanks a million, EB!
  14. I really don't think you should be saying those sort of things about Mr. Crusoe. He's already in a foul mood, do you really want him to get angrier because you've offended him? But I do agree, he should just give back whatever he's stolen. I am getting worried that if we don't vote for someone then ol' Mr. C might get mad. So, because this is the only person we've got a shred of evidence against, I'm just going to jump on the bandwagon and Vote: Raquel Benito Juarez/Raven Brickroft I know you've defended yourself, but it doesn't really tell us why you did it. I'm sorry about this, Raquel, but your the only suspect we have at he moment. If you defend yourself properly, then I'll take back my vote.
  15. Voting time already ? I still have no idea who's doing this, and I need to try and be more careful this time. I don't want another innocent person to be killed...
  16. I suppose I shouldn't really be jumping to all these conclusions . After all, the only information I've heard is what you've heard from that LEGO rep. I just think it sounds like an interesting theme, but I probably shouldn't be making a new thread for something that's not even confirmed yet. Anyway, I don't think this thread should be closed yet, just incase we do hear more about it, and that it does go ahead.
  17. Well, as Lightningtiger confirmed over in the LEGO City 2011 discussion thread, LEGO in fact are making prototypes for a new LEGO City subtheme for girls. There's been rumours about a new Paradisa like theme floating around for a while now, but I think that this is the first solid evidence about it. I'm pretty excited about it, as it'll most likely have a lot of female minifigures. If it's anything like Paradisa, it will also have an abundance of pink parts, animals and accessories. Hopefully this new theme will bring back the Dolphin mould, which hasn't made an appearance for years now. I think that if a theme similar to Paradisa was introduced, it would make a nice change to the usual City sets (police, firemen, etc...), and focus more on citizens and leisure. I think if you have a city, these would make it more realistic. I mean, we don't really need any more fire or police stations for a while, but we don't actually have any cafes, restaurants or shops at the moment. So please post any information and discuss this possibly new theme here!
  18. I'm male, but I'm excited about this new theme for girls. It'll most likely have plenty of lovely female minifigures, and if it's anything like Paradisa, it'll have lots of nice pink parts, new animal moulds and new accessories!
  19. I don't get this. Why does it matter if Raquel saw someone with long hair? It doesn't necessarily mean they did anything bad, they were just wandering around. Everyone's allowed to wander, aren't they?
  20. I've never seen any of these images before, but they all look like stunning sets! It's a terrible shame that most of them weren't released ! I notice that some of the figures have side-leg and toe printing, which, I believe, was first released with the Collectable Minifigures in 2010. The wigs, puffy-arms with printing and the kilts are all examples of how advanced LEGO really were back then. It's just a shame that they didn't have the sense to release them! Thanks for sharing them with us, Hive!
  21. Dragon Knight's Castle(£49.99) Would be similar to the King's Castle, but with a darker colour scheme. It would have a prison, a throne room with 2 thrones, a keep, and plenty of play features. It would include a Dragon Knight King and Queen (would both be wearing green), 4x dragon Knights, 2x Lion Knights, 2x horses. The Dragon Knights need some leaders!
  22. I can't wait to see that exclusive minifigure! Also, does anyone know when we can expect official images of the sets?
  23. Great work, The Real Indiana Jones! I really love your home-made golden elements, they look really good. The temple itself looks brilliant, and the prayer flags are a nice touch. Is this an actual scene in a film? Because I don't remember it. Anyway, well done!
  24. I don't think we could convict Mr. Crusoe, because he's the host. And anyway, why on earth would he kill Sunday? And the reason were in this mess is 'cos he stole something from the Mafia. Why would he kill people to get back something that he stole? And if we killed Mr. Crusoe, we might never find out who's doing this, because he knows the most about all this. I really don't know who's doing all this, but I doubt that it's Crusoe.
  25. Thanks for the review, ADHO! It's nice to see a review of such an old set. There's hardly anything to build, but it's got some really nice parts. I've got the witch minifigure, and the dress slope is really nice. Unfortunately, however, someone has chewed up the torso! Thanks again for the review!
