Just isn't my thing and yes I am serious in just lasting one year. I have not seen the images yet but if I want overly detailed figs and sets I buy SW. I like my castle generic historic and beauty in the design of a set. Spectacular is a point of view what some view as amazing others view as average. I don't think there will ever be a license theme that ever touches Star Wars IMO. I prefer classic LEGO themes over a license any day. Compare POTC to Pirates, it has boring set designs, too many repeat characters, poor sellers that ended up in the bargain basket everywhere. The set designs were all very poor and lacking.

yeah I agree a great set, but I feel like something is missing. The gate is odd I think. I would have like to have seen a market type area, stands, a battle pit, squires and more peasants. However I think the entire set it is great. Not better than MMV or even MVR though. I do wish they had given the Falcon Knight new torso, leg and head printing. Only the helm, armor and shield are new, lack of attention to detail something TLG used to pride itself on is lacking here.

Yeah all of those are correct but I am not 100% sure on the garage and Hobby train sets.

nah I have a feeling Kingdoms is done. sure that message is implying CASTLE will continue besides LOTR and the Joust. But most of the sets for the year have already been seen or heard of unless they are keeping it under tight wraps (doubt that though).

The mining theme is meh. The hospital is great. Love the baseplate, bench and bush. Looks somewhat classic to me

I think that message about LEGO Castle continuing in 2012 just means you will be able to buy the Joust in 2012 as the Castle set.

Very good review. I would rate this set at above average. Certainly a good improvement from the previous rendition. The new droid I would agree is the best new fig

I hope at least in the collectible figs we start seeing some Knights and stuff, that would at least partially fill the void, and I do mean partially

not following the guidelines but a whole series of figs from the LEGO Universe game would be great. Unlikely but still would be nice to see. also if Kingdoms is indeed discontinued I would like to see some new castle related figs like new Knights etc.

not really surprised they should have made actual sets based on the game that could somehow tie in with the game and thus create alot more of people wanting to play it. a wasted chance IMO

Great review, a cool set indeed and I love the maersk blue cap! I hope they make an updated 6 wide version of this set to go along with the Maersk Train!
