  1. That is a very interesting galley, many of those concepts have become actual CM's. I assume "Toth" is a TLG designer?
  2. Thanks for sharing that article, I really enjoyed it.
  3. I had read April 10th was the release date awhile back. Not sure if that is confirmed though. I think Hulk will probably be about $10-$20.
  4. An extended bus would be a very cool idea for a new set, maybe if we ever see a City Corner II perhaps?
  5. Marvel: Iron Man II - Monaco Racing Circuit: $29.99 Minifigs: Whiplash, Mark V Suitcase armor Iron Man, Race Car Driver Set: Formula 1 Race Car with breakaway section, fence/barrier and safety barrels. Iron Man II - Stark Expo: $99.99 Minifigs: Whiplash, Mark VI Iron Man, War Machine, Pepper Potts, 3 "Drones" and a generic civilian/press. Set: Earth Sculpture and display stand/stage Iron Man I - Tony Stark's Lab: $49.99 Minifigs: Mark II Iron Man Prototype, Tony Stark and that "Robot" Set: Laboratory with area to hold suits, computers with chairs and and two exotic cars.
  6. After careful observation, I agree with you it does look like the LOTR ring in trans-blue. Only time will tell for sure though. Thanks, that is a great explanation. I would love to see the suitcase armor as an Iron Man fig. Many people don't like the helmet that TLG made but I don't think those judgements are fair until you have one in hand. As of right now I like it, it doesn't seem abnormal compared with Batman or Stormtrooper helmets. I think it is cool that it can open up and we get Tony Stark's face. I am interested to see the design as well as finalized real life images of both Iron Man suits which hopefully will have nice back printing.
  7. I think that would actually work and sell very well. Each set we get a different time era in a well designed set and the time machines tie them together as you said. I can already think of so many set possibilities; Western, Greek, Roman, Feudal Japan, Cavemen, futuristic space.
  8. Perhaps he could also be in a special polybag for a promo they run when the sets are released.
  9. I will never live that down. I never tried because I didn't know I was supposed to. I think I had the hardest role in any mafia game to date due to the fact that for me to win I truly had to be the last man standing.
  10. Beautiful work on the banner and all the artwork around the site. The architecture theme is certainly unique and interesting.
  11. Interesting, I am going to guess Nick Fury will be in a set with the "Limited" or "Special" Edition label on it. I think TLG is keeping it a close secret like with the Funhouse set that had the Riddler and we didn't know about it until it was released. That one was not on any of the Batman set lists prior so I think we will see a new very secret set possibly. I noticed that too. Yeah I am going to guess (in the film) his newer suit got damaged/stolen or whatever and he has to wear his old one. True he had his first suit, an upgraded version then he built his new one or whatever. Still cool to get different versions like with Batman. I am hoping we get Tony Stark's lab with all the suits on display and exotic cars.
  12. I just ordered one today, my first modular building, after seeing Pet Shop IRL on display I am hooked. Next I plan to get Grand Emporium and Pet Shop whenever TRU does BOGO again and they are not out of stock.
  13. My first modular building. 10179 Fire Brigade Get one while you still can.
  14. Yes, I thought of that too, it has a more finalized public polybag and is perfect since they want to promote EP1 3D this year. A similar thing happened with the White Boba Fett fig, it was handed out at the NY Toy Fair and was expensive, then it was released as a polybag globally.
  15. Batbrick your back! And you brought us this cool banana creation too.
  16. What? Me, Scouty and Trexxen were the masterminds behind that one.
  17. Thanks! All the pictures look great. Not a fan of the "aliens".
  18. Please refer all discussion to the thread Rick posted, thanks.
  19. You are going to enjoy those sets for sure. I managed to find 7948 Outpost Attack and 7950 Knight's Showdown on clearance.
  20. Those are some great minifigs and TLG did a great job. I must have missed it but a few pages back it was confirmed that the Spiderman vs Doc Ock set would be $70 (?). That would be a pretty large set it sounds like? Also as of right now only one TDKR set is known so there could only be one or possibly more? I am hoping for the Bat-Tumbler with the Bat-Pod. Finally is Robin/Nightwing or some type of "Robin" character going to appear in TDKR?
  21. I voted yes I have several times. I just recently did it for six figures but I am still waiting for the elements in the mail. I always look for "New" or like new condition elements when I do it. I regret not parting together a chrome C-3PO recently would have been only $70 or so, I waited too long and all the parts were gone.
  22. I don't, they removed my Airport Shuttle Revival Project.
  23. The Green Lantern and Batman were released as exclusive giveaway figs, TLG does it all the time. Others include, Iron Man, Captain America, White Boba Fett, Shadow ARF, Chrome Vader, Chrome C-3PO and so on.
  24. I was just reading another one of these on a different subject too. I love these.
  25. AFAIK the Chrome Vader had various ways of distribution, in some cases buying a set at a certain price would get you one, that is in addition to them being found in 2009 sets. While the Chrome C-3PO was only distributed in sets that you had to randomly find (I did hear of a few cases where they were handed out at events). Plus it is a few years older than the Chrome Vader polybag. I am going to guess we will get a new promo fig on May the Fourth (Maybe even the Darth Maul Polybag from the NY Toy Fair).
