Well a visit to a TRU (My 1st in about 6 months) made me weep tears of joy They had all the new stuff; Coast Guard, Agents, Batman and Castle!!!! I picked up some small sets since I'm I was a bit low on cash - The Knight Castle Impulse - Batman's Buggy:Escape of Mr Freeze - Jungle Duel The Batman set is really pretty funny and I love the new batman fig, perhaps a review in the future

Racer X and Taejo Togokhan!! A very cool set with some sweet rides! I love the minifigures! Even if Bruce Wayne, Satipo, Nazis and Racer X are all the same person However in the movies they are a bit sleeker, but TLG did a good job on them or else they would have used alot of SNOT or huge <insert that tiresome argument> molds The stickers are real killers though!

Speed Racer I couldn't agree more with Sam, it was a really great movie! I didn't think it was going to be any good because all of the negative feedback and crap But it was truly amazing, It was just as good as Iron Man was, if not better!!

My favorite one is the Grand Prix, because it comes with alot of great figs and the best looking cars out of the other sets The Mach 6 is a sweeter Mach 5, but I wish they gave us some wind shields The other two racers included have a nice color scheme However if you wanted a less expensive one then I would go with the Mach 5 one, since that is what Speed Racer is all about You can't have a LEGO speed racer set, without Speed Racer! However the best one is the Grand prix

Just finished playing the demo, and it was very fun, the cuts scenes had some great LEGO humor in them! I just love how the whip is so versatile, you can grab weapons with it and whip people. The ability to swim, climb ladders and hang from the cliff are awesome add ons! I really like how you can grab spears when they pop up and kill the giant spider things Free play is very fun, you can play with, Indy, Satipo, Willie, Dr. Jones Sr., Short round, thuggee, Desert Solider (Has grenades!) and the Hovito! When you kill the soldier you can wear his hat, hehehe Such a fun Demo! Can't wait for the full version! :thumbup:

Yea I played it again right now and I pressed f2 last time by accident which allows a second person to play Its really fun to play, I love how you can grab anything like a spear or crossbow and use it Indy On!

I was playing it and I have some questions, did you have to control both characters? Because on mine I had to control both Indy and Satipo (Meaning the second character didn't have artificial intelligence controlled by the computer?) Also the keyboard controls are annoying and it didn't install links??

What is this blasphemous talk of speed racer being the next galidor? Hang the infidel! I quite like the LEGO sets of them, the Grand Prix one being my favorite, because there are sweet rides included! Also I love all the figs and there are some very useful parts! However I have not seen the movie yet so I will wait to render final judgment until then

It will be good to have a dinner since I have not eaten in many a days. This Lord Dragonator was a hard fellow to track down. I was sent on a mission to the Crown Kingdom as they are being invaded by undead warriors, horrible things. I went there to forge this sword.... Pulls out "Doombringer", and has a shiny mythril dark glow to it As you can see, I had the best blacksmith in the outer territories forge it out of the rare mythril ore That wasn't my mission, I forgot about it and became obsessed with making this sword Now I return with apologies about not completing it and if I can offer my skills

Back to business, sorry to disrupt your meeting, my name is Sir Admar and I bear allegiance to the Dragon Masters Kingdom . Thus if you can give this message to Lord Dragonater about my returning from the wars to serve my kingdom. What shall I tell him? What are thy bidding, my lord? The Commanding Guard shows an odd expression Admar then smiles a fiendish grin, somewhat humorous I will wait for the meeting to finish then.......

Another Article, Nothing New, but still a good read

Cool Topic There are way too many sizes of LEGO cars/vehicles produced that are out of scale and don't fit in with each other. We have the past 80s style cars that are ridiculously small but cute looking. Then there are the various 90s style vehicles that came in all sorts of shapes and sizes. The 2000s didn't bring much relief either until recently with the 07 city sets. Those vehicles all seemed to fit in perfectly with each other. The Garbage Truck was one of my favorites, it looked detailed and was very scale close to minifigs. Then there are 08 with Speed Racer and Agents. I personally like the Speed Racer cars and sets because they are "race cars" like the F1 racers that larger too. However they most likely take up two lanes of the road baseplate and look weird next to the 07 city vehicles. As for the fuel economy and gas usage and global warming, very simple explanation, the Speed Racer and Agent cars run on hydrogen or electric Thats why we see less of the older 80s LEGO cars, they are polluters! Larger Cars On!

M-10 Dromindur The Ravine Admar slowly approaches a tavern/inn It looks like there is a meeting or something going on there, maybe it would be best not to interrupt He moves in for a closer look and hears talking going on in side Hmm, something about our kingdom going to war? It looks there are some ambassadors from different lands sitting around the table, I do wonder what goes on One of the guards is making his patrol around the tavern, Admar quickly dodges behind a nearby tree to avoid being seen, he then waits quietly for the meeting to be over However he failed to notice that the guard was much more intelligent than he had thought, since the Dragon Masters Guards are among the elite. Hey you over there, step out, your trespassing Pardon me, I am here on business I wish to speak with someone inside You will, follow me, lets hear what they have to say about this The Guard leads Admar inside the tavern to the room where the discussion is being held, Admar recognizes Dragonater as one of the patrons and also sees an old man, most likely a wizard of some sorts Lords, I am sorry to disturb you but we have a guest Greeting my lords I am Sir Admar

Introducing my second character: Name: Sir Admar Age: 25 Faction: Dragon Masters Class: Dark Knight Equipment: Sword "Doombringer" mythril shield Background: Brought up in a standard village on the country side of the Dragon Masters kingdom, when he was very young his father took him to be trained as a knight some day. It was unclear weather dragon knights were good or evil at the time. In fact Admar now seeks some answers as he is an experienced Dark Knight or the third highest class of the Dragon Knights society. He is looking for a very wise and powerful Dragon Master called "Dragonator" Looks: Coming Soon......................

Iron Man It was pretty good, with a decent plot The suit was pretty sweet when it was finalized However there were barely any action scenes and I was quite disappointed about it Plus the ending was pretty lame I hope to see Speed Racer® pretty soon

My thoughts: This is interesting, I noticed a few fancy tags and thought to myself "meh another fad", however it has turned into something much larger Can I protest it? Seriously this is theme favoritism and shouldn't be tolerated, it can be viewed as biased or unfair since there isn't any other guilds, pretty soon we'll have a "Post Apoc Guild" or a "Steam Punk guild" ,however i don't really see the point in any builders guild, but i must complement the biased theme take on it I'm not trying to discourage or throw down the idea or whatever these are just my thoughts on it, very much IMHO Guild off
