  1. Hello! Very cute vehicles, vessels, and robots! I especially like the technique where you sticked two hinge levers into the grille tile. Very useful trick! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  2. Hello everybody! I am sure all of you remember this scene from "The Empire Strikes Back". Especially as there have already been many outstanding representations of it here in the forum. This one here is pretty simple from the setup, featuring just a simple partial bridge layout. The special thing is that the minifigures are in purist style and contain no licenses pieces. It's part of my recent project to recreate a license-free Star Wars universe. In this scene, said in short, Darth Vaders hires a group of bounty hunters to catch Han Solo. From left to right: Dath Vader, Dengar, IG-88, Boba Fett, Bossk, 4-LOM, Zuckuss. In the pitch: three Imperial officers, Admiral Piett The complete tiny scene layout. Front view of all characters. And here are the detail shots of the characters. That's it for today! Have a great week-end, and see you soon! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  3. Hello! Thank you for the easter greetings and this great easter creation! The individually decorated easter eggs are as fantactic as the cute bunny. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  4. Hello! What an inspiring pleasure for your eyes! All the different shapes for the buildings are fantastic and give it a realistic future city look. I like the use of transparent light blue glass elements throughout the city. Everything looks perfect here. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  5. Hello! Although I am not a fan of the series, I like the design of your hover ambulance van. Its futuristic look makes it a perfect inspiration for various SciFi projects. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  6. Congratulations guys! You're doing an outstanding job for the community! Cheers, ~ Chris
  7. Hello! Great underwater city! I like the many differently sized globes. Regarding the MTT, I am glad to be of inspiration. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  8. Hello! That's a very rare vessel to be built! When I did a micro version some years ago I also had to call it an unidentified class. Although its class is still unknown to us, you did an excellent building job for this almost forgotten vessel! The overall studs-down concepts works perfectly for this unique shape. Very well done! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  9. Hello! Eight months of work was definitely worth it! I appreciate the time and effort you put into this layout. The countless tiny details like the gear rack studs-down for the door make it a pleasure to look! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  10. Hello, you can also always check the Bricklink catalogue for Star Wars Mini Sets. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  11. Hello, and thank you for the huge interest in this project! I am not sure what scenes will be next, as it takes me much time to vene build the very simple ones. My parts stock is simply not made up for bigger builds than micro models. But I am constantly thinking about more scenes and figures. Thanks again! Cheers, ~Christopher PS: It's this piece. Happy building!
  12. Hello! Nice design concept! A wind propelled mecha would be steamless steampunk. A new sub division. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  13. Hello! A great representation of the craft from the movie. I just wish LDD would give out better renderings. The light effects are in LDD are not as good as they could be resulting in an artificial look together with the background. And as you can't see andy grid lines it's hard to see how it is built (although I already saw LDD models with grid lines). It looks like one big piece. That is of course no criticism against your model which is great. It's why I like real models more. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  14. Hello! Good use of the new 1x2 brackets and 1x1 round tiles. Both parts are very usfeul for micro building. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  15. Hello! Your recent modules are fantastic! I hope many many people will contribute especially those who are familiar with the LLD software. There so much potential for this! Lthough I love micro building, I cannot contribute due to the lack of familiarity with LDD. I wish you great growing of your moonbase! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  16. Hello! YOu used the wedge plates well to obtain that curvey look. I also like the fin construction ta the back. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  17. Hello! It's a cool ship design! Besides the colour I don't think it's too influenced by the Star Trek universe. It would easily fit in any SciFi world as you intended. Nicely built! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  18. Hello everybody! In my recent and ongoing series of recreating selected scenes from the Star Wars movies, it's my pleasure to present scene 14 to you today. There, Luke Skywalker and Owen Lars buy the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 from Jawa traders. As for all scenes in this series, no licensed pieces or minigures are used, anyway from which licensed theme, especially Star Wars. The droids are (from left to right): C-3PO (protocol droid), R2-D2 (astromech droid), R1-G4 (astromech droid), R5-D4 (astromech droid), Treadwell Droid (repair droid), LIN-V8K (mining droid), 2X-3KPR (servant droid). >>>All character images can be found here. <<< Thanks for your time and interest! Have a great week! Christopher
  19. Hello! That's one of the most popular motifs from A New Hope, and your representation does the real scene justice. A great corridor with lots of movement so you can almost feel it. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  20. Hello! That's an amazingly well built Ewok sculpture! The facial expression looks very real. His angry mood, combined with his immense size make him probably the most dangerous Ewok. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  21. Thanks for the comments everyone! I know it is not always possible to please everyone, but I always try my best. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  22. Hello! What a brilliant wall technique! That looks very authentic! It's also interesting that you can actually divide the Fabuland roof slopes to only use the roof top. The water jet is another eye catcher. Cheers, Chris
  23. Hello everybody! With the new round/sloped bricks from the Alien Encounters theme, I got the idea to use them for (yet) another version of the Trade Federation Lucrehulk-class Battleship. The ship should be familiar and first appears in The Phantom Menace and then also the later movies and TV series. The inner spehere is brick-built, as I didn't want to use the UCS Star Destroyer deflector shield spheres. These are almost impossible to find in light bluish gray, and I wanted this ship to be easily built by everyone with cheap standard pieces. Free instructions included of course! As long as BrickShelf is being moderated (which can take several days), you can access the instructions directly from my homepage: Lucrehulk Battleship Building Instructions Thanks for stepping by and I wish everybody a great sunday as well as a good start into the new week! ~ Christopher
  24. Hello! Great representation of an Endor scene. The foliage works out pretty well. If I may, I'd like to suggest a (dark) green background paper which would represent the depth of the forests better. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  25. Hello! A nicely assembled store! All the technical pieces are well-built and put in place. There's the right feeling for Watto's junkyard shop. Cheers, ~ Christopher
