  1. Hello again! Community builds are great, so let's support further! A Geonosis Playground for some of my mini models. Take care, Christopher
  2. Hello everybody! Using this Geonosis-coloured baseplate (from set 6589), i'd like to present a little display for some of my vehicles and vessels from Episode II - Attack of the Clones to you. Take care, Christopher
  3. Thank you. I just looked up that torso. Unfortunately this one seems to be from "Prince of Persia", and thus being a licensed piece. So it's not completely license-free for this scene. I will order a neutral torso, however, I am short in time now. Cheers, Christopher
  4. Hello. Here we go! AotC scene 127: Shmi's Funeral Take care everyone.
  5. Hello everybody, I am sorry for being late with my entry, but I won't let you down. I owe this great community project a scene. It's a sad one though. Padme, Anakin, Beru, Owen and Cliegg face the loss of Shmi Skywalker (from left to right, C-3PO is cut off on the left side). There seems to be a lack of official LEGO® Star Wars™ sets and figures for Episode II. Therefore I built them myself. Take care everyone, ~ Christopher
  6. Hello everyone, I got this minifigure as a free giveaway myself but I don't have use for it. That's why I'd like to pass it on to someone who can actually use it. The bag is opened but the figure is brand new and unused. You can have it for free. Shipping to Germany only, costs are 1.45 EUR. Have a great day, Christopher
  7. Congratulations my friend! I hope everything is going well for live and job! Cheers, ~ Chris
  8. Hello! I noticed the same thing today. I was searching for all my topics (an option in the profile). It said there were 59 topic by me. Although there should be around 140. very strange this is. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  9. Hello everybody! With the release of Star Wars board games this year (Star Wars Battle of Hoth), there are also several new official Star Wars micro figures. Because limitations for typical character details are high in that scale, I'd like to present a different Darth Vader microfigure conecpt to you. The basis is also one stud (like for the official Vader microfigure), but additionally there are arms, cape and helmet. This microfigure was originally intended as a sculpture for my minifigure-sized Star Wars toy store. Thanks for stepping by, and have a great week-end! Christopher
  10. Thank you for all the nice comments and the blog highlight! It's great to see people appreciating micro creations. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  11. Welcome to Imperial Toys Ltd. ! Hello everybody, and welcome to my little toy store! This is the place where Imperial citizens on Coruscant buy their Star Wars toys! Two Imperial Doortroopers will welcome you and the storekeeper will gladly guide you through the store. Here is the complete crew. And here is a summary of all models of the store. Of course those models are not really for sale. Just for the people in the scene. You can of course see separate images of all models by clicking the images (which are links). That's an older project which only has been photographed last week-end. The micro Vader sculpture ans some of the models are brand new however. Thanks for stepping by! I hope you enjoyed your visit at Imperial Toys Ltd. ! Have a great week, yours Christopher
  12. Hello! A nicely designed Jedi Starfighter. The gun constrcution looks interesting although the portside cannon shoots its own ship currently. Another minor thing to mention is the white 2x4 tile on top with the lime green tiles beneath. You should add another one or a jumper plate centered below it. You can see the hole under it because of the tile's groove. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  13. Hello! It's getteing better and more accurate with each version! Nice to see the progress. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  14. Hello! An original way to build the Dwarf Spider Droid! I like the use of the wheel plates for the attachment of the "eyes". It would look even better if you attached them the other way round, and used trans-red ones. Another minor improvement could be to attach some actual feet. The walker indeed has some, but they seem to be missing here. The legs look a bit "hacked" off. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  15. Thanks, and no worries! There are even many many more MonCal ship types. Even those of the same class are unique each. But in general we can say that MC80 (Liberty and wingless Liberty), MC80a (Roleplaying Game, Exanded Universe) and MC80b (Mon Remonda, Expanded Universe) are all 1,200 meters in length. The Home One is larger but no one exactly knows how long. The newer MC90 (Expanded Universe) are 1,250 meters. Anyway, let's rather build ships than arguing about lengths! Cheers, Christopher
  16. Hello! Thanks again for your comments! And thanks for the reference image. The length of a normal MC80 cruiser is 1,200 meters. There are similar discussions about the length of the Home One as there are for the length for the Executor. I don't want to discuss this here. For those who are a bit familiar with the Expanded Universe, the Mon Remonda was the first Mon Calamari MC80B Star Cruiser. It appears in the X-Wing novels for example. I redesigned it yesterday, also to scale with the ISD and the MC80, and thus am adding another image below. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  17. Hello! Thanks for the comments! Regarding the colour, I think white is the perfect colour for Mon Cal cruisers. They have an additional pattern with small tan spots. These spots are normally too small to display on a mini model, thus pure white would already be accurate enough. But I chose to use some tan elements, although the tan spots are then larger than normal. Adding another gray colour would not be suitable as the result would look like a patchwork pattern. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  18. Good evening everybody! After a long time, I thought it was about time to present again a MINI model to you. So, I'd like to present model No. 212 to you: A Mon Calamari MC80 winged Liberty-type Star Cruiser as it can be seen in "Return of the Jedi" during the Battle of Endor. It's the first ship of the Rebel fleet being destroyed by the superlaser of the second Death Star. The model features a similar "plate" technique as I used for my MINI Imperial Star Destroyer, thus it's built to scale with its imperial counterpart. So, the best thing is to build both vessels if you like. As long as BrickShelf updates, you can access the building instructions for both ships here. Have a great week-end! Yours Christopher
  19. Hello! As usually a nicely designed micro vignette! The landing pad is especially well done. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  20. Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm not sure what will be next, but I will continue with the series. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  21. Hello, and thank you for all your constructive comments! It's great to see there are so many people who appreciate the challenge of this series. Thank you, and see you around! Christopher
  22. Hello! A really amusing background story! The all-terrain vehicle matches perfectly in. Its design is an eyecatcher, too! The greeble details are fantastic, and that spine piece looks like it had been amde for that vehicle. Cheers, ~ Chris
  23. Hello! Now this looks like a nice assembly! I pretty much like the rounded inverted archs together with the curved red sign. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  24. Hello everybody! We probably all remember Jabba's quote in Return of the Jedi: "I will not give up my favorite decoration. I like Captain Solo where he is." The following images show this scene from the movie where Leia - masked as bounty hunter Boushh - frees Han from his carbonite prison. I had much fun using that old-styled minifigure torso. It was perfect for Han in the carbonite block. That's my scene for today. Enjoy the week-end and see you soon! ~ Christopher
  25. Hello! I guess this could be the first propeller-bike in your collection! Nicely done. Cheers, ~ Christopher
