  1. But the Yoda in the new Spider-Droid set is not really new or exclusive, he's exactly the same as sw471 the one in Duel on Geonosis 75017, minus the neck attachment, which was only there for playability, not as an accurate character part or accessory.
  2. Black or Dark Bley? I have Amazon prime and have access to all of the new sets, although some have already sold out. Excellent news, I'll look for ward to seeing the minifies line up. I think they did a pretty decent job considering the limited info they get, It's obvious that future sets based on Ep VII will be much more accurate. No you're not, I'm OT all the way. Good point, surely there is enough for us to constructively discuss, it's tiring having to read through so much negativity when we don't even have all the facts yet. I would love if they did a series of pod racers with their respective pilots. Toy fair is 24th-26th Jan. Can't wait to see! (or read descriptions of anyway) I've often felt the same way, but you've got to keep it if only for S@H exclusive etc. I would love that, but highly doubt it, just hoping it is an OT minifig. Yes.
  3. That was my favourite tongue-in-cheek joke too, great series, between this series and the new Star Wars sets released now and being released in Jan, my wallet has run off to hide.
  4. Although I think both faces are accurate, the closed mouth is great, but the bared teeth face does look a little silly, still can't work out why the black line (representing the split between upper and lower teeth) flicks up at the end, makes no sense! What're the chances we'll ever get the... (I've only seen the movie once, going again with the family in a few hours) Quad-Jumper ship (Rey's first choice) in a Jakku set ever? I hope not, maybe somewhere down the line we can have this variant, but when there is at least one other option I hope we get that. I'd love this, a dark blue variation would look amazing! A NEW USC FALCON? Seriously? you've made my year! Yes!
  5. I originally stated that I thought there would be no Starkiller base until the final trilogy had ended, but after seeing the movie I expect it a lot sooner, if they ever make one that is, I still think the overall size of the base will make it difficult to produce a coherent set.
  6. Well explained, makes perfect sense, I can totally live with that hole, it is there for a purpose, end of.
  7. +100 From what I understand we can expect the following:UCS Hoth Echo Base UCS Snowspeeder And a new Death star to replace the recently retired version (nit sure if this is technically a UCS)
  8. Thanks for the link, pretty decent review, nice to see some close-ups of the figs. Ha, good point.
  9. Fantastic, thanks.
  10. I'm always a little concerned when this happens, as long as the screenplays are solid and keep to the overall theme of the trilogy it should be okay. Abrams was a great choice to kick it all off though, can't wait to see it again.
  11. Yes, yes, and thrice yes to a new Sullustans head mould!
  12. I can't see a way for TLG to do a Starkiller base set any justice due to it's sheer size, but I'm happy for them to prove me wrong! +1000,000 Loved that part, was it just me, or was anyone else waiting for him to crack a smile? Yes, but if you blinked you'll have missed it, it is seen briefly looking out of one of the doors of Starkiller base into the snowy landscape, it's a shame you missed it, you'll have to go and watch it again now!
  13. Definitely, there are probably teams of people whose entire role is making sure these details are covered. What're the chances that JJ is going to Jackson these movies up with Extended versions? Snow speeders could feature here if they happen.
  14. *SPOILERS* (not sure how to do the hidden spoiler thing) I can see a set based around Jakku and Unkar's scrap yard, including his booth, some other stalls with the cool entrance gateway as the focal point, including Unkar, Space pig, dude with the yellow mech arms etc. Similar to 75052 Mos Eisley Cantina.
  15. I wonder if TLG made sure that when the (I'm assuming) Snowspeeder scenes were cut, that JJ Abrams at least included this fleeting glimpse, so TLG didn't look stupid
  16. I can only speak for myself here but I'm guessing that all lego fans, whether kids or adults wood definitely love to see the highest quality sets and minifigures that TLG are capable of producing in every set, whether UCS, micro fighter and everything in between.I think the reason you've had so much pushback on this point from fellow AFOLs is most of us realise that (as much as we wish it wasn't the case) that this is simply unrealistic. I don't want to labour the point but to expect TLG to offer the exact same Boba Fett minifigure (for example) in the £170+ UCS slave 1 as a potential future Slave 1 micro fighter set for £8.99 just makes no sense. TLG understand that amongst AFOLs there is a massive group who are mostly, or only interested in the minifigures, so much so that they are willing to buy sets like 75060 and even 75095 just to get one or two exclusive figs, they would be shooting themselves in the foot financially to offer the same fig in a $20 set. The bottom line is that it's just business, you wouldn't expect the bottom of the range new car to have all the accessories as the top of the range at no extra cost, it doesn't lessen the value of the cheaper car, but by comparison may make you want to upgrade, if you want the best you have to pay for it, the same as it ever was.
  17. Will it be NY toy fair before we see next years sets?
  18. Another great review, thank you WhiteFang.
  19. They display them... but don't let you buy them? that's messed up!
  20. Uk Shop@home has them at £19.99 each, so if your'e lucky it'll be $19.99, but $24.99 at the most I'd imagine.
  21. You want this forum:http://www.eurobrick...25#entry2406387 Agreed!
  22. Any news in the UK for the remaining winter wave sets? I see they're starting to emerge in other parts of Europe.
  23. *NO SPOILERS* I know I said I was going to stay away, but after seeing so many *spoilers* put up here I don't think it can hurt me just saying... "Absolutely Awesome movie, so, so good, totally worth the wait, thinking of going to see it again tonight". But keeping to topic: Every time I think of everything I saw in the movie that could/hopefully will be coming out in future sets, I nearly pee my pants with excitement! I'm almost jealous of all you guys who still get to see it for the first time, enjoy!
