Lucky duck! I love this minifigure...I sold the game on so it only cost me a few £££ after fees etc, so I'm pretty happy too (certainly beats eBay prices! I'm looking forward to an eventual 'attack on Lor San's village' Finn, with clear (no sand) armour and finger marks printed on the helmet... here's hoping! Surely not! We are now in July (tomorrow) and it's due on late September / early October, so it SURELY will be revealed in August at the latest?
-
I'm with you there, it's truly painful!... Unfortunately, from what I understand the Disney castle set will be the next reveal before the DS, so it could be weeks!!! please somebody tell me I'm wrong!
-
\Understood.

Ha! well if you're right then I suppose that's a small silver lining, anyway, where is the new LEGO SW news we're all so desperate to see?!
-
I am ashamed of my country, I did not want to leave my European cousins!!! please Denmark, don't start charging us more for LEGO!!!! :cry_sad:
-
Bring it on!

I just need something, however small! absolutely loved the new figs we got in the last wave but incredibly excited to see the updated and new exclusive figs included in the new DS. On a side note, I keep getting excited whenever I get a glimpse of 76060 Dr. Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum... I keep seeing the Portal Beast as a Rathtar!!!

Sooo... I've been meaning to ask; was 'Escape from Space Slug' the SW exclusive micro build for 2016, or will there be another one along the same lines as the micro tatooine and dagobah including minifigs we've seen in the previous two years? Please someone, give us the good news that there'll be another this year... Endor maybe?

I literally cannot wait, whenever I think about the new DS I nearly do a little wee! and with the RO sets as a chaser I'm having trouble concentrating on anything else!
-
Yes, but that is for a TFA character, to use the same head for a minifigure that will most likely be placed in 75098 next to Bren seems lazy to me.
-
I know, this is pretty lame, to have such a unique head duplicated so soon in the obvious set this minifigure belongs in seems short sighted, are we to act as if this is Bren Derlin in a different outfit, c'mon LEGO, give us something we want!

I don't know if this might help but... If I ever need to reapply a sticker I use an edge of the sticker sheet (the smooth backing) and gently slide it back and forth underneath one corner of the offending sticker until it is under enough to place a finger over the corner and lift it off in one smooth action, it works really well and stops the 'crimped' corners you get from picking with a fingernail

No arm printing though

They know what we want and are playing hard to get

I think this was put to bed several pages back when it was confirmed(?) that an OT astromech which appeared in ANH was part of the new set. Although now that I think of it, as ANH and RO share at least some of the same timeline, is it possible the same droid would also be on a RO deathstar? I really hope not, we've waited long enough for this DS update, I really hope it is all OT.

I've been biting my tongue in light of the very reasonable requests from the mods to not turn this into a place to bash TLG for their increasing prices, but I just wanted to say this; If we continue to purchase these and future sets at their RRP's then TLG will continue to release them accordingly, if we are willing to do this then why are we complaining? to put it bluntly: If it's too expensive for you then don't buy it, simple. This is (imo) the best quality toy/collectible available today and the premium price tags add to the experience for me. The other alternative is for TLG to limit or even stop its production of licensed products as it would no longer be profitable to do so, something which I think we would all agree would be far worse than the price increases. To any moderators reading this, apologies for going off topic, I just want to see TLG and SW/Disney continue their partnership into the foreseeable future and beyond.

And he has the CW commando droid legs to give him the extra height and detail (in comparison to stand battle droid legs), I'm also really happy that TLG have been able to include the imperial insignia on the end of the shoulder pegs the arms attach onto as this is quite a nice detail on the actual droid, I'm also hoping that they have included printed (if not moulded) details to his back as seen in the recently released book pages from last week). Loving the printed detailing for Bestan but not sure why he doesn't have short legs considering his height compared to the others, his head mould does appear to make him shorter than a standard minifig but still it doesn't seem enough to me. Loving Jyn's hat with hair, but why-o-why have TLG persisted with the ridiculous clip on goggles, they are SO out of proportion, it doesn't even appear to be possible to attach them in a second position ala the standard Hoth rebel helmets, I don't get it, hopefully it won't look so disproportionate in real life. Still, loving it all, bring on Force Friday. Just one more question... Where are the leaks for the new DS? I need them in my life!

Unfortunately not, has the same visor printing as the new Wedge and Wes from 75098.
-
Good call.

Pleasantly surprised, can't wait to get a closer look at these, I'm going to say that I reckon the short hairy folded head alien is a bothan, hopefully he's not one of the 'many'. I'll be picking all of these up.
-
There is some dark flesh parts at the bottom of the head to simulate the rust and such, what people don't seem to get is that LEGO stylise the products, features, details AND colours become almost 'cartoony' in style, if the blue had all been sand blue or darker it would just look off in comparison to the rest of the set an other sets, I also had issues with the colour but after building it I think it's just about right, I love the build!
-
Amen.

Agreed, CW minifigures do not count, we need regular versions! I'm hearing you, I could not believe the price of the new x-wing, especially when compared to the TFA transport next to it on the shelf that comes with 7 minifigures (and is currently on sale for £15 less!

Do it! by far it's one of the best UCS builds I've ever built, great ship, great details, colours, all around great product.

Finally found the new sets here in the UK this morning at my local Smyths, picked up Encounter on Jakku for now, can't wait to build the luggabeast!
