    Hunkan wonders how his team went from trying to fix a chemistry device to making music for a salt golem. He shrugs and starts shaking his wallet like a maraca.

    "This place is weird." Hunkan whispers back.

    Hunkan looks around the crucible, then back at the gold. He seems to be deep in thought.

    Hunkan inspects the pile of gold. Does it come in nuggets, coins, or some other form?

    "The fumes in here are making me sick. Or is it from the slime? Oh, my head..." Hunkan braces himself and repeats.

    "Well this is trouble." Hunkan attacks Blobling A from the back row.

    "I heard a noise! What's going on down there?!" Hunkan climbs down into the crucible.

    "This device looked a lot less complicated on the outside, but at least there aren't a lot of branching paths. Both of the uncorroded paths lead to dead ends, so unless one of them is the cause of the problem, we're gonna have to get through the corroded valve."

    Hunkan equips Daugslyr in his Longsword's stead. "Should we have a look at the map first, so we know where we're headed? He did give us a map, right?"

    Hunkan tests the weight and feel of Petaldan's sword. "Thanks. I hope there's nothing in there that will require me to use it, though."

    "Ditto. And you?" Hunkan turns to the others.

    Hunkan is not amused. "A lot of humans talk about how dwarves are 'supposed' to be good at things like blacksmithing and masonry, but chemistry is one I haven't heard before."

    "I don't know about the others, but I've never taken it before, so I can't say." Hunkan looks at the flaming vial on the table. He unpockets his Phoenix Essence and compares the two.

    "I don't know if I understood correctly because of your lisp, but... are we supposed to go inside that big glass setup to see what's wrong with it?"

    Hunkan stares at all the tubes and flasks of bubbling liquids. He can't help but wonder what would happen if something burst. "Doctor... Cula, is it? What can you tell us about the equipment that you need fixed?"

    Hunkan wanders around the hall and stops upon seeing Ezeran and Kid through an open doorway. He steps inside. "There you are! I got a bit lost on the way here, am I late?" (My stats are correct.)

    "That's my cue." Hunkan gets up and follows Torald and Ezeran to the guild hall.

    "Haha, no thanks, last night's drink-off against Torald was quite enough. I still can't remember who won."

    Hunkan watches the others from the saloon while taking occasional swigs from his drink. "Uh, Kid? If you don't slow down, you're gonna regret it in the morning."

    "Who the heck writes with a lisp?" Hunkan signs up for quest #149.

    "Oh well. Is Kid okay? We can't keep going without our marksman."

    Hunkan begins to regain consciousness. He winces in pain as he tries to get up. "I should've been more focused. Is it over? Can anyone tell me how many arrows I took?"

    Hunkan watches in awe as Torald wipes the floor with the beasts. He regains his composure and repeats his attack.

    "Damn, they're tough!" Hunkan repeats his attack.
