Hi, currently TRU Germany offers a 20% discount on Lego articles except Lego Star Wars. Is Lego SW generally excluded from TRU discounts or is this something unusual?

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

I always thought that similar dirt patterns are not very likely, but anyway, I like those troopers. -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion

I like the arc, because it was pretty dramatic. Remember, it was the Jedi who created the clones (at least, they ordered their creation). In the last episode of this arc, a clone, for the very first time, killed a Jedi, which reminds me a bit of the classic "Frankenstein"-story. Krell was a pawn, and I find it unlikely that he knew the identity of Sidious. Rather, he was used to loosen the bond between the clones and the Jedi. That fits pretty good to a sentence Dooku said in an earlier episode, and that might become the motto of this season: The Sith control everything. -

Interesting. Maybe the designers simply assumed that they were the normal ones without knowing about the fact they weren't :) -

This is incorrect, I stated that already on November 7th ;) -
It looks pretty good. Is it a minifig scale?

The Clone Troopers in TCW S1 and and S2 are wearing phase 1 armors. The ARC Trooper at the end of TCW S3 is phase 1.5 or and experimental phase 2 armor. If you look at the helmet, it has the general design of a phase 2 helmet, with the exception that the fin is that of a phase 1 helmet. The clones in S4 are wearing phase 2 armors. -

The effect of this measure is that Clones begin to hate their leading Jedi general. How Krell treats Anakin's men will make him more anti-Jedi, too. I'd say that's why he was called away. Remember, the Siths control everything :) Concluding from Krell's statistics, Palpatine knows pretty well that the odds that Rex and most of his men will die under Krell's command are very high. If this would happen, Anakin would have lost another person he likes, making him longing for the power to prevent such losses in the future. -

Interesting. I wonder if the rumored LEGO Felucian Fighter will turn out to be a LEGO Umbarian Fighter :) -

I'm pretty sure that George is pretty aware of this inconsistency, an inconsistency that he might get rid of in one of the next editions. I think that Rex and Cody should play a more important role in the OT, which might be quite a challenge for him. -

Compared to the jelly-thingys from the first arc, the white lights are a great improvement, I think. As for the numbers of clones (and others), one has to ignore this fact. I found it pretty odd that Savage Oppress was sent to an important outpost that was under attack by 5 battle droids (or so) and defended by 3 Clones (or so) and 2 Jedi. In the current episode, there are generally more clones, so it doesn't really strike my mind that there are always "some" clones. (It's just a bit nagging.) -

I think that Krell represents what the war might turn the Jedis into: warriors, but not peacekeepers. Krell, a Jedi, uses and commands the clones like pawns on a chess field. As he was, powerfull, efficient, determined, he reminded me a lot of Darth Vader. He probably is closer to the dark side than even Nahdar Webb was. The curious thing was that he was (and needed to be) taught a lesson about leadership and responsibility by Rex, who has become wise veteran. What's relatively new is the rift between the military corps (clones) and the leadership (Jedi). -

Personally, I do neither like nor dislike the Endor battlepack. I would have liked more Stormtroopers, but since the set is limited to four minifigs, two rebells make sense for the sake of diversity. I would have prefered an Endor "Imperials" battlepack (2 Stormies, 1 Scout, 1 Imperial Trooper) and an Endor "Rebels" battlepack (2 Rebells, 2 Ewoks), but apparently Lego made the choice to change the general design of battlepacks. I would have prefered the "old" design for the TCW battlepacks as well, but that's a different thing. -
No, it doesn't. If bought via marketplace, the costs are per item.
-
That's roughly EUR 6,46, which is pretty cheap for a battlepack.

Clone Troopers/Commanders: minor imperfections of helemt and/or torso
I wonder how you deal with this problem, if it's a problem at all

I recently bought a couple of minifigs (mainly different kinds of clones) via BL. I realized that practically none of these figures had not at least minor misprints, and that the helmet was more often affected then the torso. Do you experience this problem as well? Do you even consider it as a problem or as normal, as "how things are"? Or is it just me who gets all the minifigs with minor misprints? -

Which one was Rex' helmet? edit: I see, I never stumbled across that... -
Personally, I find that Steampunk is total crap a lot of settings more appealing than Steampunk. This ship, however, is simply beautiful.

The icy environment immediately caught my attention. It's not just white bricks, which looks pretty good.

Hmmm...personally, I wonder if they'll produce more experimental phase II armor wearing clones or they'll start with phase II armors soon. -

No, your not; at least Brickdoctor had mentioned this point before, and yes, you probably are. Anyway, I prefer the old torso printing. I miss the shadows under the breast, and I don't think that the circle which seems to represent a belt buckle, is a substantial improvement of the old torso printing. It doesn't look as decent as the old one.
