LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Brickadeer replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Even if you were correct - "the objective is to get a wider appeal by whoring out more figures" - that doesn't explain the choice of figures included as well. 8095 and 7752 won't be available soon for a reasonable price. I like it that important minifigs like Grievous and Dooku can be found in an actual set. -

Nice pics. There's no set that I'm particularly excited about, though. -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Well, I'd consider myself an OT fan. I do not like most of the UCS sets, however. I simply do not find sets that are not designed for minifigures attractive. That's the reason why I'd never buy this starfighter, no matter how much the price drops. -

I agree on that. I think that the LotR license will be at least as successful as the Star Wars license. -
Wow, I'm impressed. I guess that besides Star Wars, this is the biggest license Lego could get. I'm pretty curious what they will made of it.

It is, but with regards to the sets you want to order, that should not be a big problem. Information about international shipping can be found here (English): http://www.amazon.fr/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=603090 -

With the "play" button right over the cockpit, I came to think how decent this model would look with a different part for the cockpit *sigh*. -

Interesting picture. I did not yet realize the slight differences between the torso prints of the Endor stormtrooper and the sandtroopers. (Besides the sandprints, of course.) -

I don't like the shields anyway, and I think that introducing was a pretty bad idea. Since they are both simple and highly effective, one has immediately to ask while they are not used by clone- and stormtroopers. Not that I want them to; that'd look totally uncool. -

Well, since we are OT anyway: I wonder if Lucas will make another TV serial, maybe not cartoonish and settled in the timeline of ep 4-6. -

Well, I still wonder why Lego has not yet published *any* clone commander from the PT. -

Oh, as I can see it, they are brown. It just seems to be a bit darker than the brown on this picture. -

Not quite what I expected when I saw the topic. These little guys actually look great. I'm not convinced of the aliens, though.

Actually, I like the fact that they made printed faces. I wonder when non-TCW versions of clone troopers with printed faces and Clone Commanders will be available. I further wonder if the Endor battle pack imperial troopers will have printed faces as well. I'd say the odds are pretty good that they won't. -

Ah - can you simply send it back? I'm very interested in knowing how amazon.it deals with customer complaints since I thought and still think about ordering there. I just a received a Clone Turbo Tank from amazon.co.uk. Both the outer box and the set box were in top condition. A closer look reveals what can be called "minor shelfware" at one edge of the box. But it is really, really minimal. -
Usually, I buy only sets that I like, that have an intrinsic value for me. Furthermore, I think that my taste of what is a good set and what is not is shared by others as well. The reason why I leave a couple of sets unopened is, plain and simply, the absence of a reason to open them. It's fine to have them and to know that I can open them anytime I want to. From time to time I sell older sets. That is usually the case when the set is remade and the new one looks cooler and seems to have a higher intrinsic value than the old one, e.g. 6212 and 9493. But selling them is neither the purpose of buying them nor the purpose of leaving them unopened.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion

We don't know in which form he'll reappear, do we? He could emerge as some kind of ghost just like Obi Wan did on Hoth. After looking the the trailer, I find that the Darth Maul we see at the end looks pretty well like a ghost that is angry about its fleshless form, which is something we could expect from dead Sith Lord. -

Interesting. Was it packed well and is the box still intact? Can you tell me where I can find the costs for international shipping within Europe? -
Hi, currently TRU Germany offers a 20% discount on Lego articles except Lego Star Wars. Is Lego SW generally excluded from TRU discounts or is this something unusual?
