  1. If I were to go for chassis parts, should it be for a small or large cups? Also getting wheels.
  2. 8019 Republic Attack Shuttle was on sale today, I missed it. There was also a thanksgiving turkey and ghost on sale yesterday, now gone. And the Bionicle Stars are half off.
  3. I saw in the Reviews thread the ones I have have no reviews (except one). Have 7 of the Throwbots (some are missing the disks) with no instruction booklet. And should they all be in one thread, they are usually built the same way. So yay or nay?
  4. I want this, then I wouldn't need to wait for MF Series 3. Anyone know if Samurai sets are being brought back?
  5. This would be at shop at home online... Now I'm leaning towards Street Speeder + Rotor Rescue for SNOT pieces. What to do?
  6. I'd like to buy some sets, not going over 25 though... Minifigure Series 3 = x5 ($15) or 8 ($24) (Just want the girls + samurai + rapper, don't know how much I should gamble on this). Takanuva = $4 These are for colors and parts per price ratio: CREATOR Street Speeder = $12 CREATOR Mini Dumper = $6 CREATOR Rescue Robot = $17 CREATOR Rotor Rescue = $13 Leaning towards Rotor Rescue + 4 Minifigures, as I lack red pieces. Planning to get the Army men for Green @ borders + discount. Suggestions would be appreciated. ^^
  7. Can anyone give me tips on how to stack with car chassis and tires?
  8. What store was this? Can someone say when they appear at Targets?
  9. Alrighty, I'll keep a look out on that. Was hoping for more purple and orange since RBYG seems to be plentiful in city sets.
  10. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=40319 If you mean that set, it was long gone when I went in yesterday at the Lego store. Only had Ostrich Race and Desert Battle, I got the latter.
  11. You must have at least 3 complete sets (including instructions, box is not a must). These sets can be old or new. Have more than that (Currently 4 Glatorian Legends, Camper, Buzz Lightyear Ship, and a couple more), but does that mean I have to reviews of sets people already did? You must have a decent camera (no webcam) and know how to move pictures from the camera to your PC. 12 megapixels, and I know how to transfer via MircoSD. You must have enough time to follow the courses and work on your own reviews. I'm not too sure what this means. If it is asking the process in making one, then I do (before school starts anyway). You must be motivated to learn how to make the best possible LEGO set reviews. I'd like to get better at writing in general, so yeah. Just wondering... Do I need to join this to make reviews or is this sort of a tutoring thing to become part of a group?
  12. First Time @ the Lego store yesterday: Ninja Training Outpost ($5) Desert Attack ($5) Wizard ($2) Transport Truck ($20) Today at Borders: Buzz Lightyear Star Command Ship (passed on getting Woody's Roundup for $31) for $20 Feeling buyer's remorse now for not getting the Woody's Roundup...
  13. Is this where I ask to make a review? I bought a set that no one has reviewed yet. Is that okay, even if I'm a Vassal? EDIT: I have access to a good camera, but I'm only decent at writing. This is the set http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=5765&cn=348 So I need anything before doing this? I understand that most reviews have an opening, end, build process, piece count, random instruction page, personal ratings, and opinionated commentary. Am I forgetting something?
  14. Oh I never will considered using LDD. I have used online PAB only to make my total an even 21 for Lego VIP. I was looking for sets in particular, primarily purple, orange, and dark green. Seems most of the sets with those pieces are in the other themes though, without slopes/etc.
  15. So today, I went to the Lego store for the first time. Was okay, the selection was okay too, the PAB wall had no cheese slopes, plates, roof slopes, tiles, or 1 stud round plates. But they did have the smooth tires + car chassis, which I will pick up next time. Parents/adults didn't seem to mind. I was kind of shunned by the male store workers at the beginning, but the female one was nice. Then a little boy, probably ranging from 4-7 years of age, asks "what are you doing here?" (after I asked him 'what?' since I'm sort deaf in the right ear). The mom politely moved him away, only to be asked by his younger brother/sister to ask me the same thing after I didn't reply (cause I wasn't expected to be asked that). Feels bad man. And I'm only 19. =[ Also, I saw a box full of stuff but it was in a paper box, looked like a mini-happymeal stuffed of legos. Is that the grabbag I read about? Would one be allowed to open it, and how much do they sell for?
  16. So it ended New Years? Just when I saw some things I wanted restocked...
  17. Like arches and bows for cars and go-karts, and roof-tiles. Also cheese slopes. I recall a long time ago they had them as a small bag with vent holes in them, can't find them now... My lego store doesn't carry any plates, or cheese slopes. Not even round plates, but they do have chassis/car bases and wheels which I could use. For a lot, right now, the blue and yellow Transport Truck has provided me with some, but I'd appreciate more. I'm not one for bricklink as of now. I'm getting my terminology from LDD...
  18. O.O My Currency gadget says that it is roughly $187.09! I guess you got the one with a pair of fisherman instead of three. =O
  19. All of them are open but in good condition. Don't have much but... Have: Weight Lifter Karate Dude x2 Ringmaster Want Samurai Tennis Girl I'd like to just meet in person and trade, in Daly City (near SF), CA area.
  20. Going to my aunt's house, but still underaged (19) so I can't drink. Nice to see drunk people talk though on this day. Kinda upset to hear that the Lego store I was gonna go to for the first time ran out of S3 Minifigs, so I kinda sad. Said monday to check in but I have only tomorrow to visit...
  21. The lego store I was planning to get these at said they are sold out... Just wanted a samurai or a tennis player, should I gamble by ordering on line?
  22. Hope it's okay to bump after 6 days... EDIT: Sorry for bumping, was told that it's not okay to this. Won't happen again.
  23. Oh, now I sad. No more samurai for me...
  24. So I didn't get a chance to ask, but do you think that the Series 3 will be out along with Ninjago tomorrow? I plan to call later when hopefully it's someone else on the phones. Hope to get some good sets for half off but I wouldn't know since it's my first time.
  25. I just called. The guy was kind of rude, but I'm guessing from all those voices I heard it's probably busy. Open from 9-7(at least the one I called). I'm kind of concerned since I'm wondering if they had released it early, thus me not getting the figures I wanted... But it's Lego so I'm guessing they wouldn't break the street date.
