Nice job!I was wondering of the piece count but I have a feeling there's no answer; roughly how much sets $ were used to make this? Also, what set is Ahmet's face from and where is Archie's torso from? I really like the fireplace and light brick, and the axes on top. I have two questions though: What is the significance of the pone on the roof? Is it a handle to open and go down? And where do they go to the bathroom? :D

What set would be best to get the Alien pet (head piece)? The tripod or UFO? I can't see myself using the UFO for MOC other than the tiles... I plan to get the two cheapest sets, does anyone think money should be saved for larger ones (my max is @ $50)?

Sorry to bump this topic, but I was looking at plates and found if you put in '8x16' under the part title, there's one that's new and one that's about half the price. http://shop.lego.com/pab/ Also, say I want to build a modular home from scratch or something like this: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=54589 Would it be more cost effective to go on bricklink, PAB, or buy a modular set and reform it (hence giving up the scratch part).

I actually had the opportunity to get the Fight for the Dagger but passed it up on the Transport Truck, big mistake... I could have used those food items and the staircase. =/ I never saw Battle of Alumut though, I did get the battle pack (Dastan + Horse) when it was there. Lego S@H had them on sale, really? I didn't know..

Complete, with instruction but no box. I'm just hesitant to get it, as I spent 52 bucks yesterday at the Lego store and would like to not overspend but it seems like a good deal. I wish that white headpiece in the Fight for the Dagger was in this one though. =/

Would this set for 50 bucks be worth it used? Or would Fight for the Dagger for 20 be better?

Yeah, I suppose it's best I don't do it at all. I don't need it that much, but I do want it; I'll leave it to the ones who really want to spend $75+ to get it. Thanks.

I thought the wobbly armed skelly counted as a minifig? I guess maybe because so much of the parts are made in china (globe + hair) has something to do with it, and Lego knowing they can get away with it. I don't think any other set has the globe or bottles (The escape one does, but I think it's a smoke-trans-gray, and the new parts (globe/bottles/map tile/compass/scabbard holder) seem enough for me to warrant a purchase. But you can get it half off in May, I think with a 35 dollar purchase of other PotC sets.

The Shadow ARF trooper is something I want badly to go with my Imperial Pilot, but I'm not really interested in spending 75, as the only true set I'd want at this point (until the 2nd wave of '11 hits) is the Clone Battle Pack. I'd feel bad about doing this, but could I possibly spend 75 for SW sets, and return the ones I don't want while keeping the fig? Also wold returning them deduct the points off the Lego VIP? Part of is pretty sure I won't resort to doing this, but I'm not good at doing customs as some people are, and doubt I could replicate it with paint apps.

I noticed it with Toys Story + Star Wars (as always) and Pharaoh's Quest + Ninjago. I don't recall Creator sets being higher. I remember way back when that I got the World Racers' Snake Canyon for about 12.

Really nice, I like the beds and that grandfather clock in the boat. It's nice how you've included so many colors without it being an eyesore, the minute amounts of tan and dark blue come off nicely. Do you happen to have more pictures or the interior? And how many pieces were made to make this? Wondering what seller you bought from Bricklink for all those tiles? I could use some. ^_^

Does anyone know of Norcal Bricklink dealers that they use often?

Will this be made as an announcement online at the site, or is it just for people who see it on the calendar? And is it okay to spend $75 to get this, then return the sets you don't really want? I only want the Clone Trooper Pack + Cad Bane Speeder, but I'd get a set just to reach the 75 mark and return it, but I think that's in poor taste to do... EDIT: Not Cad Bane, I meant BfG.

What sets would be best for the parts for price ratio, keeping roughly under 30 bucks? The Captian's Cabin + ??? The Isla De La Muerta or the Fountain?

EDIT: Topic title should say: "Are non-City female minifig heads the only ones that are double sided?" I remember getting my first female minifig (at least with pupils) was Mary Jane from the Goblin thing, it was about 7 or 8 bucks? Anyway, it had two faces. I'm sure this is a better thing for most people, as there is a lower amount of female figs in the first place, but I'm not one for it. I think the two I have that are not are the Camper one and the one with a bench/boombox (with a police officer, a guy in a suit, and some guy hauling stuff, I forget this set name.) I'd just like to know if I'm wrong or not. I have plans for four female figs to use in rotation, but two of them are from the City theme. Part of me doesn't want to use CMF heads because it seems so looked down upon, is this wrong? It's the tennis player and the lifeguard, if it matters. The only thing I am concerned about is that it may crack, as I can't stand cracked parts, even if it's in the inside of the legs. Exceptions being those large ones that can fall under multiple categories (MMV, etc.)
