Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Wout replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I thought that the biografies are also were about the minifigs, but they are alone about the monsters/Rockaddicts. I hope there will be soon more info. BTW, In the Netherlands some sets are already spotted by some Vroom and Dreesman shops 8956 stone chopper 5,95 euro 8957 minemech 7,95 euro 8958 granite grinder 9,95 euro 8960 thunder driller 29,95 euro (the prize of the last one I didn't know it is sure) -
This is a very nice moc. I like the waterfall very much.

A very nice moc. @ Eti: each leaf of the tree from down to above represents Anakin Skywalker in a different stage of his live. Some not so far away from eachother as the second is just some days after the first. At each leaf is also a minikit made from the vessel he flew on that time. I miss the burned Anakin/Vader at the end of Episode 3 and the restauration of Vader back to Anakin at the end of Episode 6, but it is very nice done.

PICTORIAL REVIEW: 6192 Pirate Construction Set
Wout replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Pirates
This set looks like a nice set with good pieces and a great minifig. I heard this set would be around 8 euro so it could be a good and not expensive add-on. -
At least the Star wars Republic gunship. Very nice build and it is a kind of modular, which is handy when you put it in a box. Very nice minifigs, but an extra clone or battle droid would be nice.

Lol, Parrot killed by Monkey. Nice moc, some buildings are a bit blocky, but it looks good.

I don't know where I can find it, but there was an episode 2 poster with Annie and Padme on it, and after them the silhouettes (the dark shadows) of many Jedi's. All activated their lightsabers. That was very impressive.

A bagpipe is actually an european music instrument. In the middleages it was a common instrument along the lower countries, so you can even offend yourself. It is a nice group of orcs with different hairstyles and helmets. It give them a nice less- organized look. I like the others armies also.

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Wout replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
On a Belug meeting there were already sets to see of Pirates, City Farm and powerminers. Link -
Dear Copmike, (I don't know exactly if this is the right forum to ask) I didn't read anything in news and spoilers about New Belville sets. Are they maybe end this line? I read something that the farm line of City also was made to attract girls more to lego. Happy Birthday to both of You.

In america they had only the first weak or something like that the shooting cannons in 1989. Somehow they decided it was dangerous and they changed it to non shooting cannons, but only for the U.S.A. (don't know about Canada). So for some people in America is the shooting cannon a "new" version. Thank you for the nice review. Although the figs have some common faces they look very good. I wished they had made a light bluish grey roofcorner for this set instead of the pearl gold they already put in every crownies castle set. The new metalcoloured Cannon looks also very nice. The idea of this cannon pulled forward by a horse is a nice idea to put in mind.

Thank you for the nice review. Although the faces are a bit common, this looks like a nice set. The dark red octopus is nice and I'm happy it is not a shark, although it is maybe not nice for people who just want a shark in a cheap set. A new Dolphin would also be nice.

If I knew that I would have bought also that menu, but I normally don't buy food on Legoworld as it is very expensive (and the snackbar on the trainstation is also good). Any way, I bought last weeks the terriffic Castle adventcalender and yesterday 2x 4916. They were 5 euro and they were now by the Vroom and Dreesman just 50 eurocent that's a steal. Also bought a viking attackwagon with seven vikings just counting up to 37 to attack my crownies.

Review Lego set 6077 Forestmen's River Fortress
Wout replied to Antoi's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice review. I like this set very much, although I never had them. The only thing that annoys me is that the backside is a bit to flat. But it is a forestman set, so who cares. -
This set is maybe not that good, but nice enough. I was happy they had a set below the 10 euro count. I like the face of the police man very much. Pity they didn't use it in city sets after 2004.

This is terriffic. The dancing skeletons are horrifying and funny at the same time. The dancing furniture even more. I like the ghost who flews through the wall also very nice. I hope the children have a good psychiatrist.

Looks very nice. Good work DNL

Very nice. I like the bed with the celtic design tile.

Nice mansion. Looks very good. I like the backroom were the windows are higher than the rest of the first floor. Something like a greenhouse?

Thank you for the nice pics, Sir Nadroj. I see you also had 3 impulsesets which are a good addition for this set. I think Sir Nadroj has taken the face of the bearded pirate and put it on the govenors torso. @ Legomilk: Do you mean that you want a number on the instruction book? And on which page the number is placed? Is this number a method to search the instructions already on the secret legofiles?

And I thought I was strange buying 2 of them. This set is a very nice castle and a great addition to the first Black falcon castle from 1984 I got for my 6th? birthday
