I hope they will not stop producing the old castle walls, because I like their sturdyness, but it could be a nice addition.

Thank you for the nice review with many pictures. Boo! The baseplate, the many leavespieces and the maiden are so great. I hope lego some day will make new sets like these.

Terriffic! I like this style so much.

It is a bit Surrealistic for me, but I like that, like in a dream. On the other side, It reminds me of the newer Muppetshow from the 90ies with Spamela and 2 irritating cousins of Miss Piggy in a spoof of Baywatch

I don't mind if system sets has a little bit of technic pieces, but not too much. (sorry KimT ) With the starwars sets it is not really a problem for me, but I didn't liked it more in some castle and vikings sets. And if they put technic bricks in it, I appreciate studded pieces above unstudded pieces, so you can use them as basic bricks.

Very nice, I only heard almost no sound. But that's maybe my computer.

Very nice to see this pictures already. I like the double sided printed torso. The big one piece Island is not that bad as it can be put on a blue baseplate. The flat back will let a second placed to it, so you can make a twice so big island I think the face of the bearded pirate is the same as the old civilian in the medievil marketplace. I'm waiting with pleasure on reviews.

I was very happy to see the Harry Potter line in the autumn of 2001. I had already bought some Star wars lego but I was not really interrested in buying other lines. This was a very good adding to the castle line of that time and also the City line of that time. It had very nice new faces, wigs and many animals. I got the sorting hat from my sister for Saint-Nicolas 2001 and not long after that I decided to buy some more. I didn't liked it when they changed the greys and brown, but that also appeared on other lines. The only problem was that there were too many Harries in the sets, as there were too many Rons and Draco's. Some common people never appeared as a minifig. It was a pity they made less sets with nr 4 and only one set with nr 5. I know it 's getting darker, but I found it more and more interresting. From the three Hogwartscastles I found the second the best. The second Hagrids Hut was also better than the first one.

Oh, The sweet memories I got this set from my grandparents when we were on vacation on the Island of Texel. I played with this set on the table and the table was sea and some stones from the beach were some islands were the pirates got a safe place to sleep. It was the beginning of my pirates collection.

Thank you for the nice big pics. The most sets looks good enough for me. And Yoda has finally eyes. The Astrodroid from Ashoka is also nice. Thank you for the nice big pics. The most sets looks good enough for me. And Yoda has finally eyes. The Astrodroid from Ashoka is also nice.

Very nice Sandy! Like you cast of teachers. I still made also some extra characters but not so much. @Badboytje: Love your dancing troll. Was he from the painting on the opposite of the entrance of the room of Requirement? @ Aredhel: Nice Halloweened Avatar, But it is a mistake, he comes only for rats.

Well, It's something different instead of a garden gnome. -
In tolkiens stories there were female Dwarves as is told in "the Hobbit" that Fili and Kili are the sons of the sister of Thorin. I read never very more about female dwarves there, but in the movie Gimli told something about mankind who thought all Dwarves are male, because the females also have beards. Terry Pratchet use this idea also for his Discworld series where the first female dwarf who wears a skirt still wears a beard and a dwarvenhelmet (you can be a female, but it doesn't mean youre also no Dwarf) and diveded the dwarves in the City of Ank-Morphork. personally I don't care if they are male or female, but a dwarf house would be nice.
