One day of trying to set up the stuff, not finished by a long shot! We seem to be drinking and talking more than getting the actual setup going. Then of course, Hinckley is trying to be an A-student and have his Fabuland display ready:-(! Show off! Btw, there was a box for us from Down Under with random lose parts just thrown in - we gave that crap away to an 12 year old kid ! And yeah - It's a blast !

We miss you ISC ! The basement build last year was legendary! Now I built two Maersk trucks with semi's and a crane to move around the containers - all in Maersk Blue of course , lots of superrare pieces in those!

Quarryman and I was there yesterday and squezed around the sets :-)!Then dinner at the fine dining Hooters. Today we went to our closest Super Target, They had a BOGO on HP, POTC and then some.

Have a good trip and do get some sleep on the plane (how hard can it be ;-)!!). I still don't know if and what our display will be, and therefore if I should haul my monorail stuff with me? See you all soon!!

And I´m back into Normal Life Mode, took a while - pheew! Thanks everyone for a great event ! It´s was great meeting the "old" eventees and all the "new" ones!! I had a great time and think we as a community left a good impression to the TLG people we met ! Or maybe one guy was a bit worried on saturday afternoon, and I can´t even imagene the look of his colleges when they were trying to find the whatever brick in the bin, to build their models ! Special memorys: * All you great people * Satanic Black * The Tesco hunt * 217 doesn´t equal 33 ! * The BIG Pizza Hut - not! * The outside bar and time spent there * Ras not coming to the event so everybody got wet in the Viking Ride ! Here´s the seventh and last in a series of short reviews from the scenes at the Star Wars Miniland in Legoland Billund. The actual quality of the the models, meaning glueing, isn´t good to say the least. Check out these two pictures of the Droid Gunship and compare them: The second one has the gun torrents broken of and just placed on top for later fixing! And C-3PO in the picture before! And the AT-ST in the Hoth set-up. But this is known to the modelbuilders in Billund and they didn´t build/glue these. Otherwise I enjoyed the Miniland and I hope these reviews has given you a glance on what to expect when you travel to a Legoland far far away and check them out yourself !
