  2. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The wait is over ! Since 1980 have we been waiting for the re-release of the classic minifig Construction Helmet in Maersk Blue so it only took 31 years . It only came in the 1651 Maersk Line Container Truck which according to Bricklink only was released in Denmark: 1651 set (photoshopped pic from BL) The minifig (photoshopped pic from BL) But now with the arrivel of 10219 Maersk Train we´ll get 3 helmets AND a new cool torso, not mentioning all the rest of the Maersk Blue pieces etc in the set - but that´s for another review ! So without further ado ............. The three amigos: They come with the Minifig Vest in orange as the first picture shows, but it was to hot when this picture was taken so they stripped it off ! The torso: Smile to the camera: They all seem happy to be working for Maersk! The "I forgot to shave for a week"-minifig: The " "-minifig: The "I had to much white eye makeup on this morning"-minifig: This head is new to me, the others has been done before, 3626pbp193 & 3626pbx288. And big kudos to George G for setting me straight - the White Eye Makeup guy a.k.a Glasses with Gray Frame Sides guy has been around since 2010, so no new heads then ! So thanks for watching, stay tuned for something more coming .............. :

  8. So we have an official translation: - Even the best is not good enough, source the guide at the LEGO museum in the Idea House in Billund (thanks Lasse D) and maybe this: - Not even the best is good enough, source this page on LEGO.com said by Kirsten Stadelhofer, a LEGO employee. And some non-official ones : - Only the best is good enough - The best is not too good - The best isn't good enough - The best cannot be too good - Enough good isn´t the best by - The best is never good
  9. Done! (Yes I know, took waaaaaaaaaaay to long to do ).
  10. Info from Andrew Arnold, PR and Communications Manager for Community, Education and Direct TLG: and
  11. The green engine is just a model built like the 10219 Maersk one for display purposes, not yet another set to be revealed. Tvice is better ! Keep on trucking. There will be 24 double cheese slopes in Maersk Blue.
  12. Some more pictures: The whole train. The engine. The engine & wagons separate. The loading device with conveyer belt. I guess the price will be a bit lower than the excisting cargo train, could be for the tracks will be only a loop and no switches.
  13. Series 4 has the dot code system as series 3. Series 5 will have purple bags.
  14. Could be, don´t remember now. They ran it on a large train display which could be a 9-volt set-up. Then they just MOC´ed it for 9V for the display. It´s the new system that this set is made up for.
  15. The box from where the prizes come from: Keep on posting !
  16. Crappy video filmed by me today at the world premier of 10219 at LegoWorld 2011 Copenhagen: and and one happy bastard at the staff&some evening auction (before the bidding began!):

  18. UPDATE: Jan Beyer relays that TLG has recieved enough application now and doesn´t want any more at this time. Please respect that. As for your new questions - really, really good ones! But I´ll let the ones that now have already sent in their applications take them direct to TLG in their contacts with them, and therefore I won´t relay them further now. Again, good luck everybody!
  19. And the questions are answered : Good luck to you and everybody else !
  20. Very smooth and nice built X-wing marshal_banana! I´m impressed by the overall look and the use of snot, and off course the cockpit. Critical feedback posted in previous posts aside, I think yours is in the pole position so far in minifig scale !
  21. - Enough good isn´t the best? Interesting language discussion! On this page on LEGO.com Kirsten Stadelhofer, a LEGO employee, says: Maybe we need to have a poll on which translation is the best/funniest ?
  22. Nope! I don´t know why he did it like that, I saw it but left it there. Not being a super computer geek I thought it might help fighting of spam bots. I´m maybe wrong so´ll I edit the post .
  23. The questions brought to TLG, let´s wait up around the campfire for an answer .... ! Ah, the old "I don´t call you - you call me"! approach
  24. From TLG: LEGO® Universe Unlocks New “World Builder League” Zones, Created by Talented LEGO Fans NOVEMBER 12, 2010 – LEGO® Universe just launched on October 26th, but already, the LEGO Group is adding new vibrant and action-packed areas for players to explore. The “World Build League,” a talented group of LEGO fans turned co-developers, have dreamed up and delivered three dazzling new zones to the LEGO Universe MMOG playground – a whole realm of exciting new adventures across original, imaginative environments. To check out the World Build League zones, players should first visit Starbase 3001, located just past the Brick Annex in Nimbus Station, near the entrance to Pet Cove. In Starbase 3001, you can snag some new models and meet futuristic robots, before hopping on the launch pad and flying to your World Builder League destination of choice: DeepFreeze, MoonBase or Portabello. If winter can’t come fast enough, head to DeepFreeze. Fans can report to Dee the Chickadee to accept their first mission, and take time to build a snowman, cruise atop the ice on a Zamboni and battle Maelstrom Beavers. Prefer an out-of-this-world experience? Blast off to MoonBase, the space-themed zone where players fly high, thanks to the low gravity atmosphere. There’s plenty to explore in this sleek, futuristic zone and possible alien encounters lurking around every moon rock. In the fantasy-filled World Builder zone, Portabello, don’t be afraid to meet Draggle, Baggle and Zaggle—they’re the dragon brothers who send players on an unpredictable quest. For inquisitive minds, the official LEGO Universe website has more juicy details. Can’t wait to discover the three new zones for yourself? They’ve worked alongside professional developers at NetDevil to help create LEGO Universe, providing everything from inspiration and ideas to super sweet building skills. You can learn more from one of the lead World Builders, the illustrious Steve Barker, in this behind-the-scenes video: http://www.triplepointpr..com/dl/lego/LUP_English-FINAL.zip
