  1. Are you intending this to be side build or your campaign build?
  2. Thank you for really tying this in with your country's description! Attention to detail is a big deal.
  3. Very nice. Out of curiosity, what is the boat in the bottom right hand corner with the balloon pieces?
  4. This just screamed Boondock Saints with the wall of weapons. Very nice!
  5. Use the web. Google it. Everything military is on Google with tons of reference pictures.
  6. I love your willingness to wheel and deal with cartels haha
  7. Side Build 3 - Supporting the War Effort Map Name: Studica Grid E3 Brickeon technologies, a top technology company and contractor to the Filace government has been working night and day to try and finish a project they are working on along the South Central border of Filace. Mount Brickest borders the river running through Studica at its Southern base. The river is so massive in some spots that it reaches over 4 miles wide during rainy seasons. Brickeon has worked with several construction firms to establish a network of channels under the mountain accessible from the River and by land in the North. The company had been stalled in it's construction for some time due to a shortage in metals needed to support the internal structuring of the facility. A recent deal with Tosul has opened a flood gate of materials needed to complete the job. Brickeon's project manager, Arthur Hastings, stands overseeing one of the recently built channel docks. A former intelligence officer in the Filace military, Hastings wonders whether or not this recent transaction with Tosul actually hinged on their willingness to back down from New Brickika. Security is tight as every one of Brickeon's workers in the facility is closely guarded and checked. Officials from the Filace Government and High Ranking Military Officers visit the facility almost on a daily basis to observe its progress. Though incomplete, the military has started using the facility at a limited capacity to stage operations to prepare for the coming days. Everything from use as a forward operating base for special forces to unloading and inventorying equipment and supplies for future operations is underway. A joint custody of the base will be held by the Department of the Navy, the Army's Early Warning & Control Service, and Brickeon will remain on hand to service the advanced technological equipment. The Navy intends to start utilizing the channels as soon as possible.
  8. I believe all data bases have been updated with players and links. Some of you are still missing sigifg pictures. If anyone notices anything that is missing please let a staff member know.
  9. Very cool vehicle. Nicely Done!
  10. Welcome! Make sure you make a post in the AAR Thread.
  11. At this juncture there are not enough countries to vote the other way. Motion has passed and been accepted by the BoN as law. Voting is closed.
  12. I vote in favor of the motion. OOC: Poll is as you guessed it not working for some reason. I've alerted the staff. In the meantime, just post your votes here.
  13. First thought - Simpson House
  14. This vote is to pass a motion to Ban WMDs from the Great Brick War. Only players of the Great Brick War should be voting here. Your names will be registered publicly with your vote.
  15. For the time being
  16. Neutral countries are not currently playable, though they may be in the future. Right now the staff is controlling neutral countries to help move the game along. They could wind up doing any number of different things as the game progresses.
  17. Filace Ambassador, Curtis Larkin The irony that runs a muck in this once great chamber is astounding. The Briolui Ambassador talks about "Striving to Protect the Innocent from Harm" when they forcefully took control of our mutual radar installation and their new best friends in Toohati were caught sending military operatives into our cities to carry out attacks on our people. They now realize they have awakened a sleeping giant and fear that we may decide to wipe them off the planet in one sweeping motion. Filace has no intentions of doing anything of the sort. We are a civilized nation that did not ask to be put in our current position. Trouble was brought to our doorstep, we did not go looking for it. We will second this motion for the sake of humanity and nothing else.
  18. Does anyone have any issues if we retool some of the maps? The goal is to create more detailed maps geographically and in a higher resolution. Country sizes would remain the same and any natural land features would remain the same with some possibly being added, none of which would impact the current state of the game.
  19. Now you know what I was watching while building. You're welcome to try.
  20. There is an update to the rules for the campaign. Superimposing a build on to a background image is only for real brick builds. Cannot be used in conjunction with LDD.
  21. A player recently asked about collaborative builds and how they would work. So if multiple players design and contribute parts to a build, there will be a split amongst those involved of any points earned. It would be impossible for the staff to judge each part of the build that a person added separately. If players want to do a joint build they share the points. There are obvious loopholes (like having everyone on your side build a vehicle in LDD and stick it in the build and expect everyone to get points). Can't get more than 4 points which means it makes no sense to have more than 4 people. But if you attempt to take advantage of the rules, you will be given a grade of zero. Use fair judgement. My personal recommendation is that you plan builds that play off of one another, that way you each get your fair amount of points for your effort you put in. It adds to the story. Work out a little storyline with a teammate and have each of you build a project that relates and intertwined with the other.
  22. Side Build 2 - Troop Build Up Map Name: Studica Grid H2 A crack team of Commandos operating along the North Eastern Border between of Filace and Briolui has setup and FOB in the jungle for future troop reinforcements. With the help of the locals, the team established the small basics for a base, but much work still needs to be done. The area is remote and would make no sense for either side to commit a lot of forces to as the jungle is so dense, they would have casualties just moving through it. The commando team is about to be relieved by team of regular army troops coming. Hawkins: ...... so that was the first time my girlfriend eve.. Blaine: I DON'T WANNA HEAR YOUR BS GIRLFRIEND JOKES ANYMORE HAWKINS! Hawkins: Not all of us are sexual tyranosaurs like you Blaine. Blaine: Mac and Billy should be coming back soon. Entering just outside the FOB Perimeter.... Mac: That was some weird brick Billy, get us out of here. Billy: We're almost there Mac. Billy: Major, you'd better take a look at this. Dutch: What the brick is that.... Billy: We found this girl out on our patrol. She was frozen still in a pool of someone else's blood. She said the jungle came alive and took her friend. We pulled her out and on our way back we found her friend, or what was left of him. Dutch: You've got to be kidding. Anna: IT'S NOT A JOKE! When I was little, we found a man. He looked like - like, butchered. The old woman in the village crossed themselves... and whispered crazy things, strange things. "El Diablo cazador de hombres." Only in the hottest years this happens. And this year, it grows hot. We begin finding our men. We found them sometimes without their skins... and sometimes much, much worse. "El cazador trofeo de los hombres" means the demon who makes trophies of men. Dutch: I'll call it in. The army can investigate this.... "Predator" when they get here. We are not sticking around here when the choppa arrives. Mac: This is some bad bush man. We need to bail outta here. Forget Briolui, the Jungle'l' kill you here. Dutch: Base, this is Dutch. How long until choppa arrival. On The Radio General: We're coming in on your position now. General: Team's lookin good Dutch. Dutch: It's been a long time General. Gonna have your hands full with this jungle creature. Who knows, might be a Brioului Super Weapon. General: Captain. Start moving the men into the base to relieve Dutch's team. Beeze: You heard the General. Let's go guys. Dutch: (To the General) What is this, you have a whole crew of officers with you now? General: Bunch of young officers getting moved around from place to place with this mobilization. He'll be off to the help organize the main defense soon enough. Lt. Stone: You guys can clear out. We got this. Blaine: Be careful who you tell what to do junior. Butterbar punk with your nightvision, ha. Won't help you out here. Let's go boys. Dutch: Good Luck General! The helicopter took off and the Army Unit moved into the base steadily upgrading the fortifications and setting up their gear. Beeze: General. I don't know what those guys were talking about, our guys see nothing in 5 miles with a heat signature larger than bird. General: We'll keep scanning the area Captain. Tomorrow you'll be taking a patrol out before you ship off to the front.
