  1. No prints on the sides of legs?!? Seriously though - one of the best figs this year IMO.
  2. Which is actually a good thing, in my opinion. Kids can have MCU Spider-Man in cheaper set that BTW has a lot of playability, while many of us, including me, will be perfectly fine with just buying the larger set. I'd rather pass on the Bank Robbery than being "forced" to buy it only for Shocker, for example.
  3. Seems like TLG spent all their money on TLBM minifigs.
  4. My thoughts exactly. But I guess we all agree that releasing all-new characters as SDCC exclusives is kinda cruel. I couldn't care less for other incarnations of Captain America, I can even live wihout symbiote Spider-Man. But come on, Spider-Woman and Phoenix, or The Collector... that hurts. Someone should forbid that.
  5. I'm really disappointed with Marvel this year. Guess I got spoiled after last year's wave. The Bridge Battle was simply a perfect set, but even in smaller ones we got so many new characters in 2016! Now looks like TLBM have it all. And the worst thing is that Vulture looks rubbish with these out of scale wings, Iron Man is just... another Iron Man, and I couldn't care less about these masked robbers. The smaller set will be the first Spider-Man set I won't buy. Pity. Waiting for Thor sets, or Marvel D2C that was rumoured some time ago.
  6. Did I get it well that there are two bikes coming next year? First BMW (black?) one and the second is blue dirtbike as described by CM4Sci?
  7. Great picture. Eiffel Tower seems to dwarf The Disney Castle though, not to mention Haunted House. Still, The Castle seems to be the most interesting build of the three and it's certainly the best looking one.
  8. He looks like a bum but I like it! Actually this costume isn't so far out like Electro was, in relation to comics. A minifig could be something in between. Would be great.
  9. Excellent, spotless review. I'm in love with this monster ever since I first saw videos from Toy Fair in Nuremberg. This is easily my favorite Technic set to date in terms of looks. Raw power, no compromise (well, it could be minifig scale, but then it wouldn't even support its own weight I suppose). The build is long and satisfying. I'm now finishing it and I can't wait to see how it works, even though I realize it's awfully slow. Anyway, it seems to be much better choice than overpriced and overhyped Porsche. It's an interesting machine and a surprising choice for a flagship model, which makes it even more desirable in my opinion.
  10. I have a solution for you. Buy it along with Doctor Strange set and you have free shipping included.
  11. Fantastic video! What a piece of artwork this Castle is. And what a nostalgic trip. I just can't wait... but I have to
  12. Well, it all depends what you like. Because for Technic, Marvel, Disney and Creator fans it was a great year. Not to mention Ghostbusters which came as a total surprise... For me personally, Elves also is a strong theme and I'm now very close to buying Ragana's Castle. Star Wars fans, well... you've had enough great sets in last 17 years. You are all too spoiled
  13. I'm not much of a Technic guy, but so far the build is fascinating and it already looks bigger than in pictures. The completed base is enough to get an idea. I believe that BWE and Porsche are very much targeted at non-Technic audience who like large builds and outside looks, whether they're large and beautiful (Porsche) or large, raw and industrial like BWE.
