Just so you know, they mention 'Viking boat vs. kraken' so this is based on prototypes... I'm fairly certain the Viking Catapult just has one figure.

Vikings usually specially crafted their armor, helmets, and even weapons depending on their status or experience, and of course how rich they were. They were more diversified in their armor than most medieval armies. I can't wait to have my own chaotic Viking army. :-D I think for something like a Roman theme, strict uniformity should be maintained. I don't know about using that universally through castle, though - sometimes diversity in the ranks is good.

I'm pretty sure the Ferrari truck is just LEGO miliking the Scuderia license to its fullest. As far as Vikings, evil beasts of all kinds have been popular forever with kids, and the beasts are legendary Norse beings. So, I don't see a conspiracy there either.

I also think the Viking fortress will be the best of the lot - largest castle set ever at 1019 pieces (much larger than Vladek's Dark Fortress, which was the previous champion), and $10 cheaper to boot. Also, it has better figures - with VDF, you get 3 Shadow Knights, the Teletubby knights, and Vladek. The Viking fortress gets you all six varieties of Viking and a dragon.

The color switches were made starting 2004 for three colors: Brown to RedBrown LtGray to MdStoneGray DkGray to DkStoneGray And quite a few minimally used colors were wiped from the charts as well.

You should delete the new member as well so we don't have to deal with member count issues.

I seriously doubt they approve... and as far as Sept-Dec this year, I think we're getting Ultimate Space Battle and that's about it. Not sure... you know what we need? A product calendar, based on all the info we gather. We could put prices on it and everything. It'd really help people budget and plan well.

Definitely! I ordered: 2x Viking Fortress 3x Viking Longboat 8x Viking Boat 2x Warrior Now, the trick here is to get them deboxed and have multiple instructions removed. My shipping is around $60. Still, that's much better than getting someone in the UK or Europe to buy them and pay 1.35 or 1.95 times the prices for each!

Joual, I apologize if it seems like we're putting down other websites, but I assure you we do not condone this... certain members have long-standing grudges with FBTB, and yes, sometimes an unfriendly comment about them slips by us. However, I'm fairly certain none of our mod team has ever said something actually malevolent about FBTB (maybe a joke here or there). The same thing would happen at FBTB about us if there was anything about our forum to criticize other than the aforementioned occassional joke and the leaks we provide. It's unfortunate that there's such animosity between our communities, but as FBTB has the 'noble' Respect The Brick policy (which is a rather misleading name... we respect the brick as well, but in a different way - promotion) and Eurobricks is the news hub for leaked LEGO information, I suppose certain differences are inevitable. I hope this all clears up soon. It's not good to have this happen, and I don't think a simple 'Eurobricks is better than FBTB' post in the Eurobricks forum is worth starting an inter-forum argument.
