  1. He hasn't let me know yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I need some sort of notification of the final price - including shipping - and then I give the seller my payment information? I'm new to Bricklink, could use some help here.
  2. Well, the way I see it, if there are any unusable colors (read: blue, red, black, etc.) then I can just replace them with the bronze/gold/silver swords from my large KK2 collection. I'm prepared!
  3. So... many... *wacko* Welcome, Sue!
  4. I said BUILDING... I'll be opening them all. ;)
  5. Hey, Mel! Great to have some diversity on the forums (uh-oh, Darkie, competition? ;)). Welcome aboard!
  6. You betcha. I'll build just one of each, though - except MAYBE the longboat. On my to-buy list: 2x Viking Fortress 1x Viking Catapult (simply for my collection... 1 fig for $20? No thanks.) Hopefully they become available soon as well!
  7. $270... 36 Vikings, though! :-D Plus shipping from Singapore, of course.......... :'(

  12. If you count all the Castle lines as one theme, then he's right.
  13. All the Toys R Us stores I've been to have had it. Check around if you're after it.

Good, you found the 'edit' button! Now the next step is to find the 'delete' button. It's right next to the edit button on the left! Imagine that. So delete the post that you don't need any more.

vcvc, use the edit button. DO NOT DOUBLE/TRIPLE/QUADRUPLE-POST.
  17. You'd think the message would've gotten through by now. :-D
  18. Within a week or so, I'll have four figs minus weapons/shields. I'll post pics. ;)
  19. 1) About two weeks, on and off. 2) It won't be cramped, I'm pretty sure. Mostly because of the reasons I'm about to list. 3) No, it won't. A couple rooms have been eliminated, and a couple have been combined. And the old rooms were way too big, to boot. No detail. 4) Same colors? Hard to tell. Not so far. On the exterior... sort of. 5) Landscape... hahaha. Crowley Manor is situated on top of a small cliff on the coast... 6) EVERYTHING is totally different. It looks nothing like it. I think it's phenomenal, though, and that you'll prefer this one much more. 7) Approx. 65,000.
  20. Because my dad tripped and thought the mansion would make a nice handhold. ;) But I'm not complaining. I didn't like the previous one too much. I suppose now I can show you how the old one looked: The new one is about 1/4 the size (the landscape is larger than the previous mansion, though, and uses more pieces) and more intricate. Not as rectangular and boring. Trust me, I've been thanking my dad every day. Oh yeah, for just a LITTLE shock value for how impressive the previous one was, all the gray you see is blay. All the brown you see is red-brown.
  21. Congrats on using one of the raised baseplates! That's always a challenge - I prefer to build my own landscapes. You did great, though! Those houses fit just about perfectly on there, and they are without a doubt the most colorful houses I have EVER seen. The only things I would suggest would be taking off the arches from above the windows - looks a bit odd with the shuttered ones! - and making the roofs more intricate - concave/convex corners, pointed tops, etc. (although I assume this is from lack of pieces - S@H has a really nice pack of roof bricks for just such an occasion) But seriously, I love it. It'd be really cool to see this integrated into some sort of larger village with docks! I look forward to the interior, once the folder is moderated.
  22. UPDATE: Just want you all to know that unfortunately, CLUES will start 2-3 days late. I'm sure Ewok will appreciate this! We just can't start the story without Yub Yub! ;) This is also partially because, as some of you may or may not know, Crowley Manor version one was destroyed a couple weeks back and have been hard at work on the new one. Unfortunately, I came down sick for a few days, but recovered yesterday. I will say that I really think version two is going to be absolutely fantastic, and that everyone will have LOTS of fun playing through it! Apologies, Bloody Jay
  23. Agreed, this is a little bit late to post this! Still, I've gotta say it. A few days ago, I picked up Doc Ock's hideout for the windows (keep an eye out for them). After building the set, I realized it was fantastic. The windows are PERFECT. I think it's here I should note that these are the only sets where I actually enjoyed putting stickers on pieces. I can't explain why, but it just wasn't that bad. Anyway, these windows, while stickered, are great for almost ANY modern building. It comes with great life preservers in black and is constructed just about entirely out of bricks. Not to mention, a ton of amazing figures (I'm addicted to those nice suits for minifigs...). And above all, a 32x32 blue baseplate that made my latest project so much better. Well worth the $50 tag, even though it's on discount on a lot of places! So needless to say, I went back the next day and got two more sets - Street Chase and Fusion Lab. Street Chase, while not exactly a great standalone set - the 'jewelry store' is kind of silly ;) - comes with some really useful stuff. Street lamp, trike, three different-colored jewels (I have a rather large collection now...) and above all - the STREET SIGNS. These are just so perfectly simple that I can't help but admire them. Great for any town! The finishing touch for me was the criminal with the red jacket on - it has a tiny little Classic Space symbol embroidered on the chest. A little Easter Egg for fans! Fusion Lab was also fantastic. The ambulance is nice, and comes with a 3-piece stretcher (actually has 'wheels'). I slightly wish that the sides weren't stickered, and a couple points off for multi-part stickering. Still, the ambulance driver is black - my first black fig, save for TIE Pilots :P. Harry, again, comes with a nice suit. My collection grows (you're next, Mr. Malfoy)... The building itself is pretty cool. The fusion machine part is a lot of fun - I can't help but put a figure on and press down whenever I pass by. The front, though, makes it - black shuttered windows and a black door. My first real windows in a LONG time. The window above the door has a sticker on it that has a great ironwork pattern with 'OTTO OCTAVIUS Incorporated' written on it. Again, a neat finishing touch - a dark blay trash can. Just perfect. Today was Train Rescue. This looked to me to be the second-worst of the lot, only slightly above Bank Robbery (which I didn't pick up). I was mistaken. The train car is so cool, even if it has no door or real train wheels (that wheel/track system that it does use, though, is interesting - I'm trying to think how I can use it). Tons of blay windows. Also, it comes with a printed 1x4 tile control panel that's fantastic. I love it! The track itself is pretty non, although the spiderweb and 'danger' signs are fun touches. Again - I cannot help slamming the poor train car down the track into the spiderweb whenever I pass. It's a lot of fun! However, the icing on the cake is Jonah Jameson - the Daily Bugle editor. Another suit for my closet, of course - and a nice one - but what I'm after is the thing in his hands. The newspaper. As far as I know, the only newspaper ever made by LEGO. I absolutely adore these sets for their figures, their use of bricks and NO <insert that tiresome argument> pieces whatsoever, the playability of every set, and their absolutely amazing Town accessories! Apologies if this was a bit long and pointless, but these are seriously some of my favorite sets in the new colors so far. If you have the chance, buy them while they're still around!
  24. Eurobricks hasn't had a great relationship with Jake so far. We're the leak people, remember? ;)
