  1. Looks almost like one of these guys
  2. I don't recall that, but we know now that it is 100% blue
  3. When it comes to LEGO, concept art counts; ie Agent 13
  4. If you don't care about the musical, watch for the fact that we're gonna see Kid Flash, Vibe, Martian Manhunter and Mon-El team up
  5. Kudos on creative fingers Pretty good build overall
  6. After looking at all those photos that were released in Empire Magazine, I now think that the blue armour is probably accurate, just looking at the vibe of colour. Maybe not the right shade of blue, but probably the best LEGO could have done.
  7. Damn that was a good one
  8. There's no guarantee that Ares will be human sized in the film at this time, so maybe he doesn't have a minifigure because it would not be accurate
  9. If you think back to exactly how accurate the movie sets are, I.E. Vision waking up to fight Ultron alongside Iron Man on the highway... didn't happen. Ronan at any point in the first Guardians riding on a Sakaaran ship to battle the Milano... didn't happen. Iron Man vs Mandarin on a buggy... say no more LEGO isn't going to spoil the film before it comes out, these stories are just little things set up for kids, so they know what the battle is about whilst playing with the set. It doesn't have to be accurate, it has to be playful
  10. So... Logan... Couldn't even think about where to start with a review, so I'll just leave it at this... It was the best comic book movie I have ever seen. I may be easy to impress with comic book movies, but I truly mean that. It gave Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart a truly heartwarming sendoff for their final movie together
  11. I'm so convinced that the shot of Mantis in the newest trailer takes place on simply because the whole structure around her was moving
  12. I made one specifically for the people like you who didn't know where to post this kind of stuff. Nobody uses it anymore Going to see Logan on Friday, I'll do a non spoiler review about why it's so great... Cos obviously it's gonna be great Looks like they're gonna focus more on the McAvoy/Fassbender X-Men Franchise from now on, but they do have many a spin off planned; New Mutants, and Gambit has been revived
  13. Found the GotGv2 sets in Thomas Moore, Exeter, oh how I love UK-ship. Bought Ayeshas Revenge, will go back Friday for Taserface
  14. Could someone point me in the direction of this, I can't find the new advent calendar anywhere
  15. This is by far the second dumbest thing I've read all week. Right after a Walking Dead shirt with Negans barb bat, and the quote "Eenie Meenie Miney Moe" was pulled from shop, because the original saying is "catch a n***** by his toe", yet the one in the show is the vastly common "catch a tiger by his toe", and the bat backs up this saying by 'promoting violence towards people of different color'. So long until Star Wars is blamed for brainwashing people to rebel against the government?? It honestly amazes me how little people know about what they do, what they write, etc. Like if you can't find anything else to write about, so you try to fearmonger parents into not letting their children watch a kids movie because... homosexual propaganda... then maybe you should just quit journalism whilst your ahead, keep your dignity, and... Go work in a supermarket checkout or something
  16. Don't really think we would need any more Spider Man sets, after the robbers, Iron Man, Vulture and Shocker, there's nothing else that could draw in a big audience to a set
  17. Seems about right to me then, the only time I've felt overpriced with Marvel, was the Hulk v Red Hulk set
  18. No! I could barely stand one Ultron...... Really have to agree, LMD has been such a great story arc, especially the finale in episode 15!
  19. Have to agree. They reward you for living in close proximity to the convention, or having the money to be able to travel there. If they use more popular characters, such as the Spider Gwen and Squirrel Girl that you mention, then LEGO will loose characters that will make fans buy sets. If either of them appeared in a set, so many AFOLs would want them, but instead, LEGO just chooses to give us figures like unneeded Captain America variants, Ultimate Spider Girl, Detroit Steel, Super Adaptoid, Red She Hulk (I can't actually complain about the last three, it's just their obscurity). If SDCC exclusives were the more obscure characters (like Batman Zurr-En Arrh), then there wouldn't be a problem
  20. Since when do minifigures have coloured eyes?
  21. It depends what your looking for. Appearance wise I would choose the new one, but if you want a bigger item with an interior, the old one. Also it's not easy to get figures separately, there's too many knock offs, and sometimes the cheapest legitimate figure can cost £10
  22. Apparently the weapons are Chitauri based, so it could almost be based on Item 47, but I don't think DODC will be anything to do with a spy agency. It's likely something to do with Oscorp, or the Tinkerer Even so, Warner Bros and Disney superhero products will never interact on good terms. This has been stated before in the Dimensions thread, but if Disney products (Star Wars, Marvel) start to appear in Dimensions, that's what the big demand would be for, it would take away the spotlight for the smaller products Dark Knight (no not that one ) from series 15
  23. Its a good point. I'm not arguing the case of a helmet, either way I'm good, but the grey silhouette could be like that because it's a basic minifigure template, not because Shocker has no helmet. Can't remember who said it, but I also agree that Shocker shouldn't have the Chima/Ms Marvel hands, unless maybe they use some printing on it. I'm a sucker for printed accessories
