I agree ill be using the stock tires and not non Lego parts, Lego designed this to run on specific size wheels and I trust them :) Also them after market tires just don't lOok rite I think.

Ok smyths toy store Ireland have it up on there site since yesterday but as u can see it says under it that it will be in stock on the 30th :) http://www.toys.ie/LEGO-Technic-!WSCAT445-subcat.aspx Argos also have it now but only some stores have it at the moment but I have a €50 smyths voucher so I'll wait.

One word "crawler" it's the biggest and best set,the helicopter is not very realistic and it doesn't do anything without turning boring nob wheels.

U bought 9398 because it's way better than the boring helicopter ;) Some shops in Ireland have the crawler but most are 2 hours drive away so I think I'll just wait till its in my own town ;)

I couldn't do that :( I'd have to finish the model fully before I drive it to fully appreciate it :)

Quiet simple really and don't mind midget sets the flagships are what u want. 8880 8868 8258 8110 8421 8455 8466 8043 My favorite is probably 8455 backhoe for its complex pneumatics.

Original colour looks best can ye not just leave as Lego intended :)

Very true they emailed me today not sure if there doing the crawler yet but they said check tomorrow. Smyths in Ireland will have it the 31st July. Also I have a voucher for Smyths so I'll wait.

The Lego video is great and there huge rocks it's crawling on :) I love to see it driving up them tree branches. :)

Still no sign on Ireland or uk sites , this is painstaking :( It's made in Europe yet America have it first doesn't make sense!

Why put the power puller wheels on the wrong way around if there going to rub the chassis?

So ur going to buy the set for the motors so u won't build the crawler?

In fairness it's a great model it's not all about motors ;( I wonder are power puller tires going to become more expensive and hard to get now? They have proper rubber not like newer tires :)

Maybe these new tan axles are made from a harder material as some people were saying there was no real need for them.

Works great, how many years have people been saying power puller wheels are useless for weight reasons and now finally we get to use them :) Gear reduction also works well , I wonder how it would perform now in truck trials? I'm so glad I bought power puller wheels now or should I say 8466 set :)

I would have taught this set should be on toy shop websites by now but nothing,we have 2 weeks to release in most country's but nothing on toy sites in uk or ire :( I think the mog was up early July last year. Does anyone know when Lego normally add the flagship to there site or have the promotional advert?

I think he means any major flagship with new parts ie the new motors are released earlier than August.

Can I ask was is conchas fasinated with driving up that wall in every video and repeatedly turning the crawler upside down? A real test can't be done on a desk! Also them custom tires look horrid and too narrow,maybe there good functionally but they don't look good or even out of place on the crawler,are they available a bit wider? Thanks for the video conchas and hopefully u might do an outdoor test with power puller and custom tires :)

More speed means less torque , it's plenty fast as we were expecting it to be slower.

I dont see why u would change the colours it looks great and nice to see something different rather than all the one colour.
