I'd love to build an inspection car but would like some ideas as Iv not much experience yet with mocs and generally prefer official sets. Has anyone seen anything like this in the Lego train world?

Iv lately built a nice double loop layout on a single bed size 6x3. Iv just managed to fit it but it works great on a limited space.

I'd like to run 2 horizons as well but I think I'll just use a reverse poll switch in the trailing loco.

Are me tracks exactly the same looking and does the colour match Lego tracks 100% I take it me tracks are cheaper?

I always taught that hobby train looked awfull. I don't think it sold well ether.

This is very true. It's a pretty rare set and iconic I think. Only proper train building ever made too. It has some very rare parts. If u even look at sets for sale there's not that many around the world and there huge money on eBay.

Which parts? I know the hand cart alone is €24. Doors each are around the same.

I think I added up the parts and they came to €240 second hand. So I just went misb for €340. I bought a second misb for a friend. So it's rare having 2 upstairs :)

Horizon express x2 would look great in that layout. 60051 is quiet a basic train.

Iv picked up 2 of these misb. Iv one sold but my question is how do I know which set might have the old grey parts if at all? Both boxes are the same but one looks more shiny deeper colours. Iv heard Lego changed colours of Greys half way through this set.

Ya I'm happy with it. Yes a bit more long would be nice. I'd like it a bit wider too so I could put a siding at the back. But with the space I have I'm happy. Quick question do I have the Ends too close together for 2 trains to pass there only 4 studs apart? I haven't all my trains built yet but 60051 and 7939 seem to clear ok.
