The emoji movie is just a bad idea full stop. How can you care for caricatures of emotions?

I can't believe anybody actually thought this was a good idea for a movie.

Skylanders uses the NFC reader on the right Joy Con rather than a portal: Skip to 4:43.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of the LEGO Batman Movie characters has Wyldstyle's abilities. -

I don't get why they don't just delay it to next year? Seems silly having two LEGO movies in one year. -

That happened to my brother yesterday with the Phone Home. It was quite funny to see him hopping along as a telephone. -
You can't say that for sure. Skylanders Imaginators is and they're incorporating a digital library that allows players to take the toy content on the go once they've scanned the toy in (the toys aren't needed on the go as they're stored in the library).

Beetlejuice is a 15, so hardly kid friendly either - yet it is being included in the game. There's literally no reason why those shows couldn't be included.

I agree. It's weird that the Dalek is a vehicle - although I suppose you could argue it's the Dalek travel machine without the Kaled mutant inside. But then why would you jump on the back of it and not open the dome and climb inside? -

McDonalds and child obesity is a non-issue. It's not their fault if kids have too many McDonald's. They don't force children to eat their products. I could easily see them giving Ronald McDonald NFC minifigures as part of their annual Monopoly prize draw.

It's a shame the game crashes on the E.T. Adventure World whenever you try to water the plants in the spaceship as E.T., because otherwise the E.T. content is very impressive considering the little they have to base an AW and Battle Arena on. E.T.'s a great movie but not the most obvious choice for a big hub world and battle arena. -

Sherlock may be all about murder, but if they did it in the typical LEGO style of humour it wouldn't matter so much. A Sherlock Level Pack would be a huge success also. I get your point about Disney, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen sooner rather than later. We'd probably get less Marvel content than DC though. As for Jumanji, they wouldn't have been able to do it for Dimensions 2.0 because the new movie doesn't come out until December. It would have to be 3.0. -

I doubt it would be a Story Pack because that would be two DC-related SPs in one year (LEGO Batman Movie and Justice League). Maybe a Level Pack, although if it were LEGO Dimensions content part of me thinks they'd do a Supergirl and include Flash as a Limited Edition polybag. Honestly, if they do a LEGO version of Justice League I think it would be more likely to be its own game akin to LEGO Marvel's Avengers. LEGO Justice League, with scenes from Batman v Superman, Man of Steel and Wonder Woman added in. -
I'm not so convinced. I think Jokerland looks more like a separate structure.

You should definitely watch Agent Carter. It's a great series.

I think they said they want to return to the old IPs but I can't remember what the exact quote was. I think Sherlock would be fine. It's no more gruesome than Doctor Who can be at times and is only considered a 12 by the BBFC. Disney is more possible than ever now Disney Infinity is over. I see your point about both versions of Jumanji, but the original version of Jumanji could maybe have the same Adventure World and considered the same franchise as the 2017 sequel -
Doctor Who has though. The LEGO Ideas set was a huge success and sold out on the online LEGO Store straight away. Similarly many struggled to buy the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack when it was released because it proved extremely popular. I'm not sure about the Cyberman Fun Pack, although I'd imagine given that how frequently the Doctor is used to promote LEGO Dimensions that the Doctor Who stuff as a whole must be considered a popular option for the game. LEGO would be stupid to not release a Missy/The Master LEGO Dimensions Team Pack at the very least, if not a LEGO Doctor Who videogame. Also: just because there's no more LEGO Doctor Who sets as of current doesn't mean there won't be any announced. LEGO only acquired the license in 2015 - and one set (the Cyberman Fun Pack) was released in 2016. There could be an unannounced set - be it Dimensions or regular range - yet to come for 2017.

I've never heard of casual viewers who haven't heard of Missy/The Master before. S/he's the Moriarty to the Doctor's Sherlock and is one of the first classic series villains the new series brought back. The character's been in the series since 1971 and was reintroduced in 2007! S/he's even appeared three times since then (2009/10, 2014, 2015)! I can guarantee LEGO that if they sold a Team Pack with Missy/The Master, Clara, the Master's TARDIS and Clara's TARDIS it would be a huge success - and if I were to be wrong, I'd eat a hundred socks.
